One of the best Italian restaurants in town.
Reservations are a must unless you want to sit at the bar. I love the cheese and olives, Carciofi salad, truffle pasta, rigatoni mozzarella e pomodoro, Margherita pizza, and the peppercorn steak is to die for. Alfio the owner is a sweet man in his 80's that comes to the table and greets you. It's a great scene and always a pleasure to dine there.

Make sure you ask about ingredients because they don't list them on the menu! This was my second time here and sadly last night was a disappointing meal. Hostess was lovely and got us seated quickly, however our waiter seemed in a rush most of the time and not very friendly. We placed our orders and one of the items was a vegetable bean soup. When the food arrived we tried the items and the soup just tasted different- when we asked about what's in the soup the waiter said there is pancetta in it and when we mentioned to him that it didn't say anything on the menu about pancetta being in the soup and that we don't eat pork - he immediately said "well I can't take it back to kitchen or return it - if you want you can get something else but you've to pay for this". Our vegetarian friend who ordered it was shocked especially that the waiter didn't even try to make good on the matter or as a general protocol restaurants at this caliber remove it from your bill and even bring you something to else. We were so shocked we didn't even understand what just happened. We went ahead and ordered the other soup which was actually ONLY veggies without hidden pork! Finally as a cherry on-top of the birthday meal for our friend the waiter just puts the dessert tray on the table and says what do you want?! Beyond rude - that we had to ask if he wants to explain what's on the tray so we can place our order. Very unfortunate that this restaurant has dipped so much in quality and especially service.
The food and service at this restaurant are exceptional.
I highly recommend this beautiful establishment. Their gnocchi is delectable, and their margherita pizza, though not on the menu (just ask for it), is simply divine. The cocktails are top-notch, and the napoleon cake is the best I've ever tasted.

Upon walking in to sit at the bar with my friend we were greeted by a few people at the host stand. They were nice and welcoming. We had a few drinks and dinner at the bar .We shared the prosciutto appetizer. I had their salmon and my friend had their New York steak we had a Napoleon for dessert. The food was delicious (an understatement) I keep thinking about ! Our bartender/server was Daniele he was so much fun, welcoming ,warm,upbeat and not to mention he makes delicious drinks. He is from Sardinia my friend from Italy I enjoyed listening to them speak Italian to each other.

First time in this new location. Definitely more upscale than in the past. The pasta, branzino, eggplant, salad and wine were even better than I remember. I was a tad upset that the pizza was $36. Taking advantage just a bit. But it was also excellent. We shall definitely return. And the owner is still working the room! Had a few nice conversations.

Hate to say it but it's like any other Italian place. Maybe I didn't order the right 4 courses but I feel like it was so special when they were on Beverly. Only been to the BH location once and even that was better. People seem to enjoy themselves.

For convenience we valeted and kept our tickets for validation. We came in a group for a birthday so we had a reservation and were seated promptly but they didn't have any inside seating available but at least they had heat lamps for the cold February weather. The service was not bad but nothing amazing and (I believe it was) the owner came out and greeted the guests. Most of the group got the bolognese or the lasagne and the flavors were really good but the portions were a bit small, especially for the price. The ambiance was nice and the quality of the food seemed good but it was a bit pricy and I wasn't blown away by anything.
Excellent food but always late on the reservation.
When you ask how much longer, they gaslight you into thinking you're about to be seated. Next thing you know 30-45 minutes goes by.

Madeo is a pleasant surprise to many who will come across it by accident. It is an unassuming but eloquent restaurant tucked away to a side of WeHo that doesn't get the regular foot traffic. You get older clientele who don't want you to let the word out, and if you do, you're getting Gen Z all over this joint that'll be using words like "bet" and "fire" more than you'd want. Ravioli Vitello - holy hell this was amazing. I think this was the best ravioli I've ever had in all of Los Angeles. The scratch-made pasta was better than anything I would have expected because of the texture and booming pumpkin flavor bursting out of each bite. It wasn't the company that made this meal great as much this strikingly beautiful and simple pasta. I would get this for the rest of my life.

My boyfriend and I stayed at 1 Hotel in West Hollywood two weekends ago, the service and ambiance there was amazing. Upon returning from a show at The Comedy Store, we stopped in Pink Dot to get tampons since Mother Nature made a surprise visit during our trip. Then we went across to Madeo's to check out the bar scene (this restaurant was attached to our hotel). We walked in and the manager stopped us immediately like we didn't belong there, we told him we just wanted to take a look, but he preceded to grab the plastic bag I had in my hand, which had the tampons in it. Told us I had to leave the bag there because it didn't 'look good'. I was extremely shocked and never once in my life have been so embarrassed. Shame on you Madeo's, How inconsiderate and rude!

Oh, how the mighty fall, especially when connected to 1 Hotel. The end is in sight guys, even if it's crowded with lookers, when you can't serve the table. The food itself is very good, not the best, but serviceably good. But not at these prices with lousy service. Goodnight, and good luck, Madeo.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
