Nice patisserie and cafe on Castro Street with very beautiful desserts. Came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was a few minutes to wait in line, not too bad. We got the passiano (passionfruit and blackberry dessert), chocolate tart, pear amandine tart, and the black sesame choux dessert. The passiano had a very lovely texture, sort of like a mix between mousse and marshmallow, and was really delicious, and the black sesame mousse on top of a custard-filled choux was also a really nice classic patisserie dessert. I love almond, so I was excited about the pear amandine tart, although the almond flavor wasn't very strong, so not sure if I would splurge on that again. Definitely pricey, but not any more so than any other fancy bakery/patisserie options in the bay area. Would probably come back for special occasions for the passiano and maybe the black sesame dessert.

Oh my goodness, the croissants, eclairs, and tiramisu at this bakery are seriously to die for! I'm obsessed! The only problem is that they're just too far away from me. But the owner is an absolute sweetheart and always makes me feel so welcomed. If you're lucky enough to be nearby, definitely check it out! Your taste buds will thank you!

I felt that the coffee was light but it was good for the afternoon. Me and my French had two cakes one with praline and the other with pistachios, both were delicious. The service are nice. The seating outside was chill in downtown Mountain View. The only this is i felt it was a bit pricey for the portion.

I always walk by this place and tell myself, I'll try this another day - TODAY was THAT DAY! I love how the pastries were all uniformed and individually decorated perfectly. I would've bought one of everything if I wanted to but I decided to choose two fruity tarts and one chocolate one (I forgot the names of these!) It was so good! I love how the tarts were crisp, light, and buttery. I also liked how the berries were sweet and fresh. The customer service was great and the lady that was packaging my treats greeted us with a smile. I'll definitely be coming back for more and also, gifting these on birthdays just bc the packaging was simple but cute at the same time.

Tasty pastries, but the main reason for my 5 star review is their signature hot chocolate. Their hazelnut hot chocolate is the thick European drinking style and is so so damn good. Such a lovely find that I haven't found elsewhere nearby. Order it - you won't regret it!!

If you like hair or brush in your $11 dessert this is the right place for you. My family and I frequent this establishment many times. This was the first time whet we found a piece of hair or piece of brush in our dessert. When we told this to the manager or the owner gentlemen all he said was it was piece from a brush. No sorry no apologies. I mean for a place where they charge an arm and a leg for their funeral dessert this is unexpected. All he said it was a piece of brush that made it in the dessert and I told, "is that part of the dessert?" Service sucks. Well never go back. If the real owner is trading this, this happened on Sunday 3/5 around 830 pm. The staff was horrible.

Terribly cute and tasty pastries. Cute seating area outdoors (and some limited seating indoors). Several of their items are among my top favorite desserts. Quite expensive but worth it. Nice staff.

I was just roaming around downtown and saw this pastry shop with a line. So, I thought let's try this. I am not sure whether they have a menu or not but at least I didn't see any. They have displayed a huge variety of pastries, macaroons, croissants, and whatnot. The tables are fancy and most of them are occupied. The display was pretty incredible and I was tempted to order most of them. Almost all the pastries look good. I took my own time to decide which one should I order and the people at the are also friendly. Finally, I ordered a coffee and a chocolate tart.I was shocked to see that the chocolate tart is 9.49$, which I didn't expect because they were no price tags for the pastries which is a bummer. Anyways, the tart was really good with different layers and each layer has a different taste and texture. Coffee is as usual and I don't see anything special about it and priced decently too. so, no complaints here.I only wish I knew how much the pastries cost before I ordered them.

Visited Maison this morning for coffee with a friend. Ordered an apple tartlet. It was delicious. The coffee was nice and strong. Enjoyed its flavor. My friend ordered a croissant and said that it was delicious. Nice friendly staff and lots of options to choose from. There is outside seating which I appreciated! Will definitely visit this place again.

This is a great place to sit down, relax and have some French pastries with coffee. The bakery has a very large selection of pastries. My favorites ones are the Chocolate Croissant, Paris Brest and Pear Amandine Tart. Don't be discouraged if there is a long line; it's definitively worth the wait!

It seemed to wash the tongue rather than add depth to the other flavors. I thought the innards could have been more tender, it was almost dry. The outer crust seemed to have lost some of its strength as it lacked the slight caramelized crunch.I also tried the mint mojito cube which was very tender, light, and flavorful. The form was stunning and built mystery around the dish and was pleasantly surprised by its refreshing taste.

I've walked past this cute cafe so many times while strolling on Castro and I finally dropped by today!They're plenty of tables, both indoors and outdoors. Service was quite friendly as well -- I wasn't expecting to be served water and utensils after being handed my own plates of pastries. These pastries are quite pricey, so this is definitely a treat yourself place. There's a wait at 6pm, but the selection of pastries were quite small when I went. As for the actual food --Croissant (~$5) Very crispy on the outside while being soft and buttery on the inside. I could see the layers and pockets of air inside. A bit of a mess to eat but still really yummy. (4/5)Paris Brest (~$10.50)My favorite one out of all of these. Toasted hazelnuts with a hazelnut sauce drizzled onto top. More hazelnut in the inside. Sugar crystals sprinkled on top. Flavor was quite good and I'm a huge fan of anything hazelnutty. (4/5)Chocolate Eclair (~$10) Only had a bite of this, but this was way too sweet to me. The eclair part was soggy from the cream which ruined the texture. (2/5)Lemon Tart (~$10) Only had a bit of this as well, but it was nothing special nor worth this price. I've had better lemon tarts before. (2/5)Unlikely that I'll come back in the future, since there are other bakeries and cafes I prefer over this place

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
