Nice but pricey
We had a decent brunch, however it’s very overpriced and not worth the money in my opinion. The food was good but we’ve had better. Misses the mark of a 5 star. If you’re in the area then give it a try but expect to pay over the odds.

After spending the morning showing Downdotown to our friends, we decided to go to Pier 17 for lunch, looked around and chose to eat at Malibu Farms. Great view of the Brookly Bridge and nice atmospher. The service was ok and the food average. The ingredients were fresh, and the food tasty, but for the price they charge - we know it's NY and prices are high - it was not anything special. We had better meals Midtown for less. Here, you pay for the view and ambience.

Spot sympa mais accueil et serveuse très désagréable, ne faisant aucun effort. Sentant que nous n’étions pas bienvenus nous nous sommes levés de table et avons préféré partir. — Nice place with a nice view but very unwelcoming people at the entrance and same for the waitress. We felt so unwelcomed that we left our table without ordering.

Lovely farm to table cuisine. They were out of a couple of items we wanted, so they gave us a meal for free. We had swedish pancakes, smoked salmon hash & chicken salad sandwich. We shared delicious desserts as well.

We loved this place. We came for lunch and my carrot salad was delicious. Sounds crazy I know. We had Bloody Mary’s and we warned that they were hot. Coming from Texas we were gone.

Wonderful food and good drinks! Farm to table styled menu and proper quality food. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The only drawback would be that the restaurant was a bit chilly and the chairs were way too low and deep. But other than that, a great experience, definitely coming back!

Very disappointed. Limited menu, almost non-existent service, burned coffee, and expensive. Not a combination that would bring you back. Add the absolutely most uncomfortable sling chairs I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant that make one feel you need a booster seat and you have a failed eatery in the making.

Very nice lunch. It was a little too windy to eat outside so we dined in - but sat next to glass front so could people watch. My friend and I had a couple of great cocktails. And shared 2 “shared plates”. We had the AVOCADO HUARACHE and the burrata. This was enough of a meal for us as they are generous portions. Both choices were delicious. Server was attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely re-visit in the future.

Everything you want in a restaurant - great atmosphere, genuinely friendly and helpful staff and management and delicious fresh food. We sat outside with views of the Brooklyn Bridge and the outdoor dining was spacious and comfortable. Many choices on the menu including plant based options. The Fave bean hummus with fresh crudités was absolutely delicious (order it with the additional pita bread), as was the watermelon salad side. The tofu coconut curry was a large portion and absolutely delicious, as was the impossible burger with potatoes. Peach cobbler was fresh and not over sweet. Everything really was perfect! Thank you for a great dinner!

The staff were wonderful, efficient and polite. The food was great. The menu is California inspired, fresh, healthy, and fun. The make "make your own" taco's were a big hit. The menu also boasts ,salads, burgers and sandwiches. Indoor and outdoor options available. Nice place to sit and people watch too!

We'd gone to this place in August '20 when there were few choices and outside seating was the only way to eat out. I remembered a decent experience. So we made the mistake of going again and inviting some friends as well; It will be our last visit. I'd be amazed if the place didn't fold anyway.
In their defence, they were mightily short staffed as pandemic payouts are encouraging people to not work. So I could make allowance for the slow (glacial?) service that took 2 hours for dinner. But what is the excuse for serving up bland, soggy tripe and charging $500 for it??
We ordered almost half the menu and not a single dish was edible let alone tasty. The tacos (we had fish, beef and chicken) were served atop awful, soggy soft corn tortillas, without adequate seasoning or sauces to rescue the wilting meat from its awful fate. The burger was overcooked double patties (pucks?) smothered in some kind of too sweet jam that so suffocated the meat as to drown any flavour there might have once existed.
Even the Bloody Mary was a watery dilute mess; I had two, just to drown the sorrow of a promising evening ruined by an irredeemable culinary wreck.
