Food was so fresh and delicious.
Highly recommend their grilled chocolate cake, as well as their ice cream - pistachio was especially great. Interior was modern and clean, and the window views can't be beat. Our server, Deon, was nothing short of perfect and made the whole experience better. Thank you, Deon!

This place definitely has good quality in their food, a nice ambience, and are very busy; however some of their items are a bit overpriced; especially if taken to go. However, I do love their greek salad. Regardless, I'd like to recognize employee Joseph Armistead for his kindness, care, patience, and attitude. Despite how busy it was; he was caring and resolved a mistake in our order immediately. I hope management can acknowledge him and recognize his efforts in some way. Thank you again Joseph!

I visited Malibu Farm restaurant for the first time with my family. We were a party of 6, and Maria was our waitress. We were shocked by the terrible service we received. We paid ~$44 per person and Maria was extremely rude to everyone in my party, including my mother, which was uncalled for. Here are several examples of how Maria exemplified poor behavior:1. We asked Maria questions about the menu given we had never been to the restaurant before. She was visibly annoyed and instead of giving us recommendations, she made the food sound extremely unappetizing, saying things like "that's just grilled chicken with some salad on top" with regards to the farmer's wife's chicken, for example. 2. We ordered 3 cappuccinos at $6 each. All 3 came back not hot at all despite us having specifically asked them to be made extra hot. Maria wasn't happy when we pointed this out. Instead of an apology, we got a sour face.3. We tried to get Maria's attention to order. She came out of the kitchen, saw us, ignored us, and went to another table next to us. We tried to flag her again as she walked right past us. This is when she very rudely raised her voice at my mother and said "I'LL BE RIGHT WITH YOU MAAM" with a giant smirk on her face. She then went to take the order from another table.4. My glass was extremely dirty and scratched.5. We had to ask for milk and sugar for our coffees as well as extra plates. My husband asked for lemon with his fish. It never came. Needless to say, we don't need the attitude while out for a nice (and pricey!) meal. The service was sub-par, as were the food and portions for the price. We won't be back and we certainly won't be recommending this place to others.

Me with my friend came here for the second time and they could not sit us inside the restaurant, cause they "keep tables" as options for reservations. We didn't not have a reservation because they don't do "daytime reservation" and half the restaurant was empty. She suggested for us to sit outside. We even said we didn't need much time, cause we wanted to share a desert and a coffee. It just doesn't make sense to tell people to sit outside while there are a bunch of empty tables inside. Doesn't make sense. The hostess wasn't nice at all. Very disappointed in service :(

Very good food that is in a casual but chic setting right along the water. Totally love this place and it's the perfect quick lunch or dinner spot on a nice summer day.

Love, love, love Malibu Farm Restaurant!!!! Farm fresh!!!! And what I love the most: excellent service + fresh food + incredible atmosphere!!! All the Malibu vibes!!! ย The salsa verde egg sandwich is delicious, as well as the seasonal pancakes. And the granola yogurt. Don't forget the rainbow mimosa great breakfast and brunch. There's also a Lunch-Dinner menu, everything is delicious and fresh!! A must go!!

no where to park , no reservations for weekend brunch WHAT???? We left went to Duke's instead. didn't have to pay for parking or walk a mile down PCH. No wait had a gorgeous ocean window table . ย The bigger disappointment here is 99% of the menu has some kind of garlic or onions ย in it for breakfast . YUCK! If you are a savory breakfast person who likes to wait in long lines out in the cold only to eat breakfast out in the cold this is your place.
Be the first to ReplyThe ambience is nice and the restaurant is cute.
The location is the only reason this restaurant is popular. The food was difficult to swallow. I've tried many different things and never been satisfied when I leave. The prices are also extremely high. The drinks are the only thing that are worth the price.

Great selection and atmosphere; however, some items are only available for lunch, so it would be ideal to offer those selections for dinner as well.

Just beautiful and sooo much YES! What a nice place to catch some sun while eating fresh beautifully plated meals. The restaurant is at the start of the pier, not to be confused with the cafe at the end. We arrived when the restaurant was changing over from breakfast to lunch. There's a line that forms at the hostess, that opens for seating at noon. Once they clear out the breakfast crowd, they start seating you at noon. The lined moved quickly, we were seated within 5 minutes on a two top with views of the ocean. For starters we ordered the Stoplight tacos trio; included red skirt taco with steak, radish, pickled onion, cabbage and salsa roja, a yellow butternut taco with spaghetti squash and habanero salsa, and a green taco with chicken, raw brussels and salsa verde. I had the vegan taco and still dreaming about it today. It had a kick to it with the habanero salsa, but man was it heavenly! For lunch I ordered the greek salad with watermelon, feta, peashoots, arugula, red onion, cherry tomato, olives + capersred bell peppers, quinoa, zucchini ribbonred, wine vinaigrette with mustard seeds! Whew that's a mouthful but definitely a party in the belly! Clean eats with a view, beachy coastal vibes, with fresh, gluten free and vegan options. There's something there for everyone. What a treat!Oh and kale mimosas! Can't forget a kale mimosa.
Be the first to ReplyCasual, cool ambiance.
Right at the base of the Malibu pier you can sit inside or out and still get the twinkle light, cozy & rustic, chic environment. Plenty of photo opps - the pier at sunset & the exterior signage is perfect height for pics. I regret not buying any merch but they had market bags, mason jars, hoodies, shirts and more. Now to the food - the crab cakes were beefy - plump - the caper berries are a nice touch, a great app to share. The salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely with citrus and fennel. Nice date spot or evening out with family and friends. We went to Malibu country mart first to shop, walk around and work up an appetite. Expect to pay $20 to park - but once the sun goes down, there is a chill in the air and your tummy is full you won't regret the convenience of parking right next to the pier.

We were seated outside with views of the beach which was nice. After a hike in the hot sun, we got the watermelon juice and mint lemonade which were both refreshing. For lunch, we ordered the crab cake ($26 for 1) and lobster roll which came with a quinoa salad which was tasty. It was filling and satisfying but nothing extraordinary. Would come more for the view of the ocean and ambiance of being on the pier. The seating areas are spread out with some indoors, some on the shaded patio, and the rest on the pier boardwalk. The service was very mediocre and it took a while to get the server's attention each time. 4 stars overall but knocking 1 down for the service.
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful location on the pier.
Good service. Food was decent. We enjoyed: the lobster mac and cheese (wasn't too heavy compare to other lobster mac I've had) cauliflower crust pizza - good crunch, light, wanted more the miso cod - was prepared well, crispy outside and buttery crab cakes - Would do without this next time. Didn't have much flavor. You just get one but it's a big size. ย s'mores ice cream - so good, had bits of melted marshmallows and hot fudge chocolate cake - I could do without. Keep in mind you need to pay $15 cash for parking, they don't validate.
Be the first to ReplyEddy the bartender was phenomenal during our visit.
The wait was around 45 minutes for a table so we opted for the bar. We didn't have the best view of the ocean, but the service made up for it! 10/10 will be back to visit. Try the Papaya cocktail and the Butternut Squash LASAGNA!

Awesome location, incredible food, however waitstaff can be hit or miss. I did not appreciate my server watching me leave a tip. I've waited tables for 10 years and found it incredibly unprofessional and honestly rude. The vegan ceviche was sooo flipping good and the cauliflower steak was a huge portion and delicious.Parking is $10 - $15, which makes the already pricey meal more expensive. However, it's a great place to splurge and celebrate a special occasion. Make sure you make a reservation and bring a jacket if you are dining outdoors.
