Delicious breakfast, great staff in a beautiful setting! Get the avocado toast! Avocado Toast
Be the first to ReplyI came here to have a late afternoon brunch (?).
I ordered the quiche, honey lavender latte, and a handful of pastries. You're supposed to order and find your own seat, but I saw a larger party that was directed to a table and ordered from there. I didn't like how loud it was. I went by myself but I felt like it'll be a struggle to talk with someone sitting across from me. Kudos to this girl reading there. Quiche with mixed greensI don't think quiches can be made fresh since it's baked whole as a pie before getting cut into slices. That being said, I found it longer than expected to get my order. I like how it came out though - warm and cozy and buttery crust. The inside wasn't too plain or too salty. It was slightly burnt but tolerable. I'm surprised how greens needed to be added separately on the side, but I'm glad I got it. The dressing is balsamic vinaigrette but the mustard was quite strong. There were multiple times I had to drink water to wash away the spiciness. Despite that, I liked the freshness of the greens. That alone is worth me getting this add on. Honey lavender latte It was alright. Don't think their coffee is the flavor I like. Lavender came in the form of dried pieces sprinkled at the top. I was debating whether I should eat the bits floating on top. I ended up getting most of them, but I think it would be better to infuse the lavender within it. It was still good to have on the side accompanying my quiche. Pastries: nutty chocolate chip cookie, banana walnut bread, raspberry rose cookie, carrot loaf cakeI generally liked all of them. Maybe raspberry rose cookie was my least favorite. Otherwise I like how all of them weren't too sweet. The mix in ingredients are a good ratio to the flour amount. Flavors were strong and hearty. I think this place is worth coming back but not for sit down.

This location is one of the smaller ones, but still with an area of seating in the back. Get there early before they fill up. I had a tasty iced mocha latte. The barista was sweet even when I peered over her her telling her to " stop " in order to control how much syrup she was putting in my drink. True champ! Lol. Her cinnamon powder pour was on point!

Friendly staff. Very cool vibe. Definitely try the lavender latte!

Be the first to ReplyCute spot, great food.
The chocolate chip cookie is amazing. Seating is difficult, it's loud, and they don't let you use a laptop. So, don't hold a meeting here or try to get any work done while you eat. It's more of a moms with babies eating long lunches during the middle of the day type of place.
Be the first to ReplyReally nice place.
Waited about 10 minutes for a table. Food was fresh , service was friendly and the coffee was delicious. The ambiance was inviting and cozy. Really liked the china and silver. Well done Maman
Be the first to ReplyI didn't get a chance to take photos of the other items
I didn't get a chance to take photos of the other items since I went twice but I was able to capture the first day's order. First and foremost, their prices for coffees are reasonable but for some reason, it felt pretty pricey once I got the total? Strange. Literally 40 bucks with tip for 4 items. That's a bit steep but it's fine, I won't be coming here that often so it's justifiable. I found this place through Yelp and I really like the aesthetics. Like most avocado toast, generally around 10-15 bucks, this one didn't really stand out to me. I wanted to try it because I'm a huge fan of salsa/bruschetta. You add that with avocado, even better! But this plate was kinda just meh, basic. As for their iced latte, wow it was strong. Maybe a hint of sweetener would've been better but it was pretty strong. I will say though, their butter croissant was really good. Not sure if it was made in house or elsewhere, but it was delicious. Buttery and flakey, so good! If only they could warm it up, even better. I decided I wanted to try it again the next day before flying out. We got there around 10am and it was packed! I think the setup of this place makes it a bit chaotic since everywhere is so compact! Doesn't help when you're all bundled up taking up more room. They offer both indoor/outdoor dining, I should've done outdoor which was more spacious. Aside from that, I ordered the make your own omelette, ham and cheese croissant, butter croissant and marzipan buttercream latte. The omelette was good, it came with mixed greens with balsamic dressing. The balsamic tasted like they added a bit too much of Dijon mustard, a bit overwhelming for me. The ham and cheese croissant was pretty average, I wouldn't get it again though. I was actually quite surprised about the marzipan buttercream latte. It wasn't too sweet as I anticipated. I would definitely come back to try other items or just grab something quick. I really really like their ceramic mugs, if they only sell them as merchandise! It's nice that they have multiple locations, so check them out if you're near any of their locations.

Maman was definitely the most homey feeling coffee shop for me on my trip to New York. This spot genuinely made me feel like I had left the city and I was in a cottage. I got the marzipan buttercream latte for my drink. It was sweet and it had an interesting initial taste. It definitely was not my favorite latte of my trip but it was pretty good. I thought the sprinkles on top were genuinely what made this for me! My mom got the ham croissant and the people at the counter taking our order were so attentive when my mom asked for a more cooked egg. The wait staff also made sure we had everything and were so kind the entire visit!

The decorations are so well thought out and the service was great. The salad had great portions and was very well worth the price, it had a great dressing and the salmon was fresh as well as the egg cooked perfectly. The sandwich was great the combination of the vine grate it had with the peppers and chicken and the bread.. a solid choice ! A must try if you are looking for a quick breakfast/ lunch
Be the first to ReplyThis was our first time at this location.
The employees were very attentive. There weren't any tables available at first and one employee walked through the room to double check for me. It was very busy, I didn't ask, she just did it because of her great. customer service.
Be the first to ReplyVisited this location of Maman with my two kids recently
Visited this location of Maman with my two kids recently and we had a great experience. The service was super friendly, they had special kid-sized hot chocolates, and the food and baked goods were phenomenal. Their breakfast sandwich was honestly the best I've ever tried, (the cornmeal focaccia bun and bacon jam were highlights of it) and my kids downed the breakfast bowls. We got cookies to go and those were, of course, amazing.Maman is a great place for breakfast, especially if you are looking for a more trendy place that is still kid friendly.
Be the first to ReplyDarling ambiance.
Delicious honey lavender latte and hot chocolate. Unique breakfast/brunch menu. $10 baker's choice pastry basket of 3 items is a great deal. So fresh and YUM! A quiet spot for intimate conversation.

I've been to Maman in Soho and in Times Square and both locations were amazing. BUT when I came to this location with my friend I was disappointed. I was mainly disappointed in the service. When we were seated the waitress attended to the 2 tables besides us and didn't even bother to look or make eye contact with us. She kept walking back and forth until I finally had to say something. After we gave her the order we thought everything would be fine. NOPE! My order was wrong and she was nowhere to be found. I had to get up and go to the front to correct my order. After that she comes over and tells us the kitchen is closing and she needs to close the check. We said that's fine since we're not going to order more. So we assumed she would close the check since she said that but then she walked away. We were so confused. Then we saw her just standing there chatting with a co worker. Then 10 mins later asked us again if she can close the check. We're like YES!!! we already said to close it the first time. Then she asked if we need a receipt and we said yes. She then walks away after closing the check and never came back with it. Then within a few mins we waved to her and ask for a receipt and she's like oh it's coming. She eventually gave one after a good 10 mins!!! On top of that we gave her 20% tips and she told us we have to put the plates and cups into the container ourselves after we're done...I must say it was disappointing but food is good as always!!I love Maman but def not coming back to this location.

I am a big Maman customer, love their produce, but this morning they sold me stale croissants, and told me that they were fresh!

Ordered a Brie sandwich, cheese portion was razor thin, so thin when sandwich heated , cheese melted away , they tend to add sliced apples to all their sandwiches as fillers, cheaper than meat, cleaver , asked cook where is the Brie? Why call it a Brie sandwich without any Brie ?If you're on the diet , this is the place for you, they replace cheese , meat with ย sliced apples !

Such a cute cafe with tasty food to boot!I had their cauliflower grilled cheese with side salad, carrot squash soup, hot jasmine tea, and chocolate chip cookie (I know, that's a lot for one person!).The grilled cheese was ooey gooey and delicious, and the soup was creamy and rich. I took the cookie to-go, but it still was soft and chewy as a snack that evening. They're more of a "laptop-free" cafe and they promote face-to-face conversations or a good-ol' phone call. Since I was solo that day, I spent my time catching up with a friend on the phone. Would recommend!

From the adorable printed cups and plates, to the serene vibe inside, to the pistachio croissant I still dream about, this place is a must stop when in NY.
Be the first to ReplyRude staff, he was just so rude ! Food was average as hell.
It's a cute little place and creative with coffee but not necessarily good. Iv tried it but will not come back here.

Such a cute coffee spot! Love the ambiance and perfect little catch-up spot. I came here with a girlfriend spontaneously one day and I loved the vibe. It was pretty busy and the tables are quite close together but that is just a salute to how popular/cute of a spot this is! We didn't order any of the food/pastries but I did see other tables getting it and everything looked solid. Definitely will try the next time I'm here.
Be the first to ReplyWow! Magnifique.
The best drinks and pastries, but realize you will pay for that quality. I got the evergreen latte small with whole milk ($6) and a pistachio loaf cake ($4). It was so good I didn't even take a picture. The price is only worth because of the quality and the uniqueness of their items. If either factor decreases, it would be immediately not worth it. Their plant based milks (almond+oat) are an extra $1.50. I got the small iced coffee on 1/31 and the taste is exquisite. Size is small, but fair.

The Leigh salad is such a simple recipe but executed so well. It was very flavorful and filling! I love getting matcha lattes wherever I go so of course had to try theirs. Very delicious but bitter if you're used to getting it sweetened (like starbucks). I like mines lightly sweetened or no sweetener so I loved it. Definitely coming back to Maman when I go to NY again!

Brunch was great until they had the nerve to ask us how long we were going to be before we even got our bill from our server to accommodate a bigger party. I get there's tables to turn but we were barely done and maybe there a half hour at most. It is improper customer service and very judgmental to force people out on an assumption that they are "talking" before they even receive the bill. They need to organize themselves, check with other servers and manage themselves properly. It would also not hurt for them to delegate tasks, communicate with other servers, have a team huddle to determine coverage duties, and train their team members on customer service protocols and troubleshooting. This is a chain business and their operations did not reflect this.

I would definitely recommend this location to eat at is much more sanitary than the Tribeca location the only issue I have with this one is a waitress by the name of Mimi she's always messing up on my order and everybody else's order she's extremely rude to the staff as well she previously worked at the Soho location and it was the same behavior. So if you guys are going to visit this location please avoid Mimi the waitress.
