Such a beautiful & delicious place to have breakfast! We ordered the yogurt parfait & belgian waffles and they were amazing. The service was great & everyone was very nice. We even went back for their chocolate and nut cookie later on (so so good).

This little gem was walking distance from our hotel, it's a French bakery and breakfast and coffee place. Only drawback is that it gets pretty full, especially on the weekends and its not a huge place. A must try is their pistachio muffins, out of this world scrumptious!

Fun place to go with a group of gals! Lovely Brunch Spot!

After a great Cyclebar class given by a friend who I met while abroad in Egypt (for the expert rugs- NOT the pyramids) I stumbled into this high end rain forest cafe. The quiche of the day had a lemon ricotta element that was more surprising than the end of the Undoing (guilty I love- not like- love Hugh grant). Recommend to anyone looking for something quick in a neat environment.

The interior here alone is worth coming for - it makes for such a lovely brunch spot with friends or for self-studying. I definitely think it's a laptop friendly work environment. I got the pistachio chocolate pastry and thought the white chocolate / pistachio filling inside was absolutely scrumptious. It's not too strong in pistachio flavor. The breakfast sandwich was also very filling and tasty; there was a hint of barbecue sauce taste in the sandwich that I thought was interesting. I didn't love my honey lavender latte at first because I think all the honey sank to the bottom, but I got a to-go cup to drink on my way out for it and after mixing the drink, I thought it was tasty too. Had great service too!

This location is beautiful but I'm really let down from the no wifi policy here. I saw on Apple Maps that this location offered fee wifi so it was a disappointment that after ordering I found out it is a "laptop free environment". Please remove the free wifi from your location as it is very misleading for people trying to work remotely.

This is a short review as I have only had one thing there - chocolate chip and nut cookies. Really well balanced; not too sweet (like Crumbl). Loved the vibe and the staff was great, as well.

Place is cute and food is pretty good BUT out server was very obviously not happy working there. Pretty much ruined the experience.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is slightly above average.
The prices are above average, in my opinion. I loved a dish they used to offer with eggs, bread, avocado, potatoes and their own jam. For some reason, they no longer offer that. I have no idea why. It is a main reason we stopped going to Maman. Again, their other dishes are ok, but we used to love that breakfast combo dish. I hope they bring it back one day.

The food was so fresh and yummy- the avocado tartine was 2 large pieces of toast! And not to mention there gluten free options! Love the decor inside and outside too.
Be the first to ReplyThe place was well decorated and the latte was great.
I enjoyed the smoked salmon toast (though they could use less tomatoes). The side salad was plain but very delicious with their dressing. Ceramics 10/10

Be the first to ReplyMaman provides a very good breakfast, and a cool
Maman provides a very good breakfast, and a cool environment for meeting a friend (or two or three). No friends? No worries, communal seating, a and no-laptop policy low-key encourages you to socialize.I ordered:- Pistachio Croissant - Papa's Breakfast Bowl- Cappuccino For the croissant They did not skimp on the cream in the slightest! It was filled to the extent I always hope chocolate croissants are! Plus the cream wasn't overly saccharine. It was, unfortunately, quite cold though, so the flavors could quite shine through. Now, the croissant was fairly light, but it didn't quite have the lightness flakiness, and airiness found in some french bakeries. Notwithstanding, when you add the rather dense cream, this takes away from its light consistency. Where it comes to the Papa's Breakfast Bowl, this was a simple dish with some interesting touches. The potatoes were seasoned and cooked nicely, though didn't have any crispness. The bourbon bacon jam and chipotle aioli were nice touches to help bring more dimensions to the potatoes. The egg and avocado, meanwhile, were nothing extraordinary. Finally, the cappuccino was very good. It was strong, and the coffee seemed to be balanced in terms of acidity/bitterness.While overall I wasn't blown away, Maman fit the bill by providing a very solid breakfast and a nice vibe.

Its a top 3 cookie in NYC but i was very disappointed in the customer service here. The barista with the glasses and pony-tail was extremely rude and unhelpful. When trying to figure out the app he yelled at me since it wouldn't take my 5$ promotion. Please look into this and you would definitely deserve 5 stars!

Really good lunch spot! Had lunch from this spot on a work day and was super pleased. I got the salmon tartine which was generous on the salmon, had a delicious labneh spread with some zaatar, and topped with pickled onions. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Will come back to check the place out!
Be the first to ReplyI am a regular of Maman.
I always get the same thing "the Wilde Salad" and I have to say the salad at this specific Maman location is by far the best and most fresh I've had at any Maman branch. Also, Cali our waitress was exceptionally pleasant and lovely. It was a great brunch at one of my favorite places.
Be the first to ReplyI had a 3 egg omelet with roasted red peppers, herbed feta
I had a 3 egg omelet with roasted red peppers, herbed feta and Comte cheese with the side balsamic salad. I also got a side of bacon and avocado. The meat was delicious, and the portion was huge! Omelette was fluffy and delicate on the inside and lightly crisp on the outside. The salad was a nice pairing to go alongside the omelette. Even the side of bacon was more than I expected, and I think they came out with 8 pieces. The atmosphere is very aesthetic with pretty white flowers on the wall. I don't think it would be a subtle study place for myself because it is a little loud, but the noise level is comparable to most coffee shops. With a coffee and tip, my whole bill came out to about $36 which was pretty reasonable in my opinion. I will definitely be coming back again!
Be the first to ReplyNot my first time to Maman, not my first time to this
Not my first time to Maman, not my first time to this location, but my first disappointing experience. Whenever I'm out and about and I pass by Maman I will most likely pop in for a quick snack, I've been to all of their locations, including the Greenpoint one that I live next to. Let me be blunt here, I'm a hipster from Brooklyn, I don't necessarily fit into the typical Tribeca clientele, I'm perfectly aware of that but it couldn't have been more obvious how my paint splattered boots (though just as expensive as the girl's sitting next to me) and my bike helmet in hand had put me on a different scale when it came to service here. I walk in, the barista is standing there chatting with the server girl. I assumed he's making her orders so I waited. She walked away, passing me, and then he walked away. I waited a bit longer and then moved closer to the "wait to be seated" sign. Still nothing. I now walked up to the coffee bar counter, someone comes out and lazily asks if they can do something for me - not if they can take my order but what is it they can help me with. I almost said I'm picking up an Uber Eats order to play along but I just asked for a table. He says just go by the sign and someone will be there. Pretty sure that's what I was just doing but ok. He rings the bell (thank you for making SOME effort) and the girl that passed me earlier comes out and says "I wasn't sure what you were doing" and takes me to a table. So... you did see me standing there waiting earlier... I guess had I been wearing my Vince outfit today instead of the bike-messenger look someone might've given me a bit more acknowledgment? After all this, the quiche I ordered was completely cold on the inside - such a disappointing experience. The girl did end up being very nice, I will give her that.

The eggplant ratatouille was delicious with a nice mix of tomatoes, zucchini, onions, eggplant and feta cheese. The crispy bread that went with it was way too hard. The carrot soup was also full of flavor and nice. The harvest platter was decent not as unique.Latte and chai latte were just ok.Chocolate nut cookie was hearty and filling.Only thing that made me feel a bit annoyed and unfair was the week before I stopped by at 3:40pm and was turned away noting kitchen closed at 3:30pm then today (my second attempt) they were taking people at close to 4pm!!
Be the first to ReplyAmbience of this place wins my heart over, but the food
Ambience of this place wins my heart over, but the food could be better, solid 3.5!Food: they have a extensive menu! We started off with the pastry basket, which had three 'pastries' - 2 cookies and a Nutella bun thing! They were all really delicious, I just wish instead of cookies, they gave us actual pastries. I ordered the harvest bowl, which I do not recommend. It's just potatoes and brussel sprouts and even though it's a large portion, that is really hard to get excited about! The Labneh was good, but just not enough for me to care for it enough Drinks: I got the cappuccino and it was good and strong! Price: reasonable brunch spot in nyc Ambience: such a pretty place to eat. They have a garden like thing and they have rabbit figurines, it's all a very cool angelic/ garden vibe!
Be the first to ReplyA cute cozy cafe.
The food is good, drinks not so much. The presentation of the food was beautiful, we got a spinach and tomato omlette with a side salad, an avocado toast, iced matcha latte and an iced latte with oat milk. The omlette was light anf flully and the avocado toast was made just right. The lattes though were very watery and not the best.

Maman is a cute NY based Cafe bakery, I've seen few different locations during my stay in Manhattan. Came here but I was in hurry so I took my sandwiches to go. We ordered their Basil Aioli Chicken Sandwich and it was huge and absolutely delicious, it can easily feed 2. The chicken was juicy and not dry, but the sandwich itself was slightly soggy because of the aioli and tomatoes. I actually didn't mind that but I had to eat the sandwich quick while it's still had a firm texture. The smoked salmon toast was great too, u absolutely loved the pickled onions on them. The toast also was very crispy by itself, you can tell it's made out of great ingredients. Will definitely come here again

My go-to place for a coffee break! Honestly the coffee is average but not bad. The true standouts are the baked goods! Really amazing cookies and buttery croissants. They have a variety of baked goods you don't see at very many other places like a homemade oreo cookie and little quiches for a savory breakfast. Their seasonal chocolate peppermint cookie is a must and their lunches are very filling! They have outdoor seating but no heaters. The other restaurant inside the Paper Source has some seating that I believe Maman customers can request. I wouldn't suggest this location for groups or dates because it's more of a go-to location
Be the first to ReplyI got the Smashed Avocado Tartine and Chai Latte Decided
I got the Smashed Avocado Tartine and Chai Latte Decided to try out this spot on a solo Saturday adventure in NYC. The food and toppings on my toast were fresh and flavorful! I love how they give you the nuts, salt and crushed red pepper on the side. They have a no laptop policy which was perfect since I could sip my tea and read. The waiter seated me first in the back then asked me to move so he could seat a larger party, felt like they do give preference to bigger groups. Another person who came alone was seated next to me & it seemed as though they were waiting for us to finish our food, I actually wasn't done but the waiter took my tray..so if you're feeling intimidated by going alone this may not be the spot for you. The decor and ambiance was lovely, not too busy if you go early in the morning during the weekend
