Under new ownership! They're finally fully open for dine-in + carry out and the inside looks great. New owner and staff were extremely nice and provided great food and great service. I'll be going back.

Okay. I saw a review about the additional fees, but the food deserves the gratuitous charge. I should've added additional tip myself. So, they're under new ownership apparently. And at first I was worried, but hot damn. This orange chicken was the most perfect orange chicken I've ever had.And...look, due to my...ethnic-identity, I've eaten at A LOT of Asian restaurants as a Vietnamese AmericanBut I didn't know orange chicken could be like this. I didn't add additional tip because I assumed the food would be like any cheap scoop and go, and it was already $30.00 with my lo mein (But you should be tipping at those cheaper scoop and go's anyway people!!!)...But this is like "go out with your friends on a Saturday night before hitting up a concert or party" quality dinner. Like, I wouldn't mind taking a date here quality dinner. Like I'm trying to impress them type of dinner.I know a lady below my review complained about the additional fees, but you get what you paid for, which is incredible, fluffy, orange chicken with thin crisp skin and lovely flavors. And tender noodles with fresh veg. And the inside has a cool authentic aesthetic that is clean and not totally gentrified. It feels welcoming. The fried rice was okay....Anyway, definitely come here if you want higher quality Chinese takeout. And be sure to tip. And don't mind the gratuitous charge. Panda Express is disgusting, and people pay a ton for that. And as a foodie, it makes me sad when people don't support great local restaurants with quality food like this! Keep Denver tasty, and support this restaurant. Plus, I have a enough food to last me 3 dinners.I'll be sure to return.
Be the first to ReplyCheck on what you're actually being charged for the food
Check on what you're actually being charged for the food you order from here. There are some genuinely sneaky fees and unadvertised prices when you order from this place. Their actual prices are more than what they advertise online - during my most recent phone order they tried to explain it by saying that the cost of food can vary. They advertise that their garlic beef is $11.95 but when I ordered it I was told that it was $15.19. I asked why it was a different price and I was told that market prices can be variable. He was very specific that it was NOT the tax. That would be additional. Then I was told that if I wanted that online price I should order online but that there would be a delivery fee-because people don't tip. I said that was fine. I asked if that meant that the tip was included. He said I could still tip if I wanted to. Fine. I said I'd just order the garlic beef at the quoted price of $15.19 and I was told that they couldn't deliver just that. I asked what their minimum for delivery was and he said it was $15. When I pointed out that he told my meal was actually $15.19 he talked himself in circles about something I couldn't even understand so I ended up canceling my order because I'd had enough at that point. I've been eating here since they opened but this shady price thing has been going on for a while and this was the last straw for me. The food is good but the service is sketchy at best.If this sounds disjointed and surreal that's because the whole phone call was exactly that - disjointed, nonsensical, and surreal. This place is absolutely NOT on the up-and-up. There's something fishy going on at Man Wah.
Be the first to ReplyI recently saw a post about good Chinese restaurants in
I recently saw a post about good Chinese restaurants in large metropolitan cities having 3.5 stars on Yelp. Every time I drive by this place, the parking lot and dining room are empty. I decided to dine in for lunch today and sat alone in an empty restaurant. Super large portion that came out the kitchen still hot and sizzling. I've been searching for a Chinese place like this and now I have found it after a lot of disappointment elsewhere. You can tell people mainly order take out here. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyI have been ordering from here for years.
Food quality is always good and consistent. Delivery often takes a little longer than most but it is always hot and plentiful. Not one bad experience. My first time rating on 12 or more orders. Giving this small north Denver MAD props
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely love Man Wah, I'm surprised that the ratings
Absolutely love Man Wah, I'm surprised that the ratings aren't higher. I have tried all the Chinese and Asian restaurants in the area and although there are many good ones, Man Wah totally stands out. They have a huge menu. I have mostly ordered their Chinese dishes but the Pho is excellent also. Haven't tried the Thai dishes yet. The portions are HUGE! I can get 2-3 servings out of each order. This is so important these days with everyone raising prices and shrinking serving sizes! Everything has been fresh tasty and full of veggies and meat. Highly recommend. They messed up my order once and totally made it right.

The food remains 5 stars so for a real treat check them out. Their vermicelli bowls are quite good with a Vietnamese egg roll as part of the item. Usually portions are quite large so I'd consider each bowl or platter to be really two meals. We've ordered over and over again and they've always been good. The sesame chicken is outstanding. Again two meals for each food item. I've actually stretched it to three meals as they provide plenty of chicken. Nowadays it's take out and you should wear a mask when picking up. On Yelp there is a link to a website which I went to when placing my latest order. Unfortunately the two items I ordered came to $20 before taxes so I figured $22 or so was the figure to pay. That was not the case. My total was over $27 with taxes when I went to pick up. Hey, I like their food and can't complain about the fact that the pandemic has changed much about how restaurants operate. I also know that pricing goes up as time goes on. My concern is that the website has not changed so I was not happy when told the total amount as I was not expecting it. I certainly urge them to correct this website pricing and update it for customers. My deduction to 4 stars is just because their website (or whoever is providing it) is not accurate. So when you order figure 20% higher and that's not for a tip! Otherwise I still count them as great in what the offer!

Really like man wah! Very friendly service and well priced food with big portions! Awesome local takeout.
Be the first to ReplyI really enjoy this spot.
No frills but good prices and good food. I wouldn't suggest eating there but great for takeout
Be the first to ReplyThis place doesn't look like much from the outside.
Or the inside. But the food is really good and the people are super friendly. While I was waiting I noticed across the street from their parking lot was an old grandstand structure of some kind, and it turns out there is an abandoned oval race track over there. Crazy to think of friday night races going on right there! Also noticed the Mountain View police department has a handy speed trap set up in this area of 44th so watch out for that, they treat drivers from other towns as a profit center in good old Mountain View.
Be the first to ReplyVery solid Chinese food and Thai.
Have been happy and consistent with their deliveries.

If you are a fan of old school Chinese take out then this is the place for you. Nothing better on a cold December night when you are stuck in the house. The flavorful wonton soup was my favorite but the Lo Mein and Szechuan beef were big hits with the rest of my family.I will defiantly be ordering from them again.
Be the first to ReplyI have been going to Man Wah since they opened and I have
I have been going to Man Wah since they opened and I have never been disappointed. The service is always friendly and they double check my order to ensure it's correct. Delivery is always fast, however tonight I decided to do pick-up. As usual the service was friendly, my food was hot and my order was correct. Their Vietnamese egg rolls and crab cheese wontons are incredible. Their wontons have actual crab and onion in them, and are perfectly cooked. Tonight I also got the grilled pork pho. It was exceptional. The pork was perfectly cooked with a great bbq sauce that gave my pho a fantastic flavor. There was plenty of fresh veggies to add and the broth is on spot. I've tried most of their menu and have never been disappointed. I HIGHLY this fantastic place. During Covid they are doing pick-up and delivery only.
Be the first to ReplyI will update this later on, but I was just craving man wah
I will update this later on, but I was just craving man wah and noticed how low the rating was and I completely disagree!! This place is fantastic. I can't speak too much to the dining in, but I deal mostly with the (VERY) kind delivery man, and my friends and I have their takeout frequently! Everyone agrees this place is delicious.
Be the first to ReplyFood is always fresh.
My favorite Asian food in Colorado. Food is always delicious. I would highly recommend it.
