Delicious and great value!
Our family absolutely love Maoz - totally delicious and feels really healthy and amazingly reasonably priced for the centre of London!
Be the first to ReplyOne of the cheapest vegetarian friendly takeaway places to eat in Soho/ West End.
Healthy wraps and salad bowls for a reasonable price. Nice friendly atmosphere. ยฃ7 for a aubergine wrap with red cabbage, fried cauliflower, sliced tomatoes, hummus, couscous and olives to take away. Price for chips is steep though at ยฃ4! You might as well walk a few doors up the street to Poppies as they sell a portion there for ยฃ2.75 and itโs larger and hand cut!
Be the first to ReplyMaoz, Best Vegan Wrap and Best Staff Experience
My Maoz experience is one of great Excellence. I am so fully satisfied and happy I found this Restaurant. The Vegan Wrap is deliciously tasty and was made in a Vegan Friendly Way. I would definitely recommend Maoz as the best place to eat if you are out and above in the West End or Soho. Also the price is very cheap and affordable for everyone. I will be a regular customer definitely.

Big no. I'm an Israeli; I know what good Mediterranean food is like. This was a dirty, noisy place; tables were sticky, and only one waitress was running around. The salads were a mountain of pickles & cabbage with dry, hard Falafel balls. The Cauliflower crumbled like it had been scraped from the pan. Very disappointing
Be the first to ReplyAwesome! Highly recommended.
Awesome food and great service. They have good portions and are surprisingly affordable. I had falafel, my dad had schnitzelโexcellent chips to share. I highly recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyStill dreaming about my lunch!
Love this place, so many vegetarian options too. Had lunch here last week in Hatton Garden, still dreaming about it now!

Popped in at lunch time with my wife. Sat inside, waitress was quick to serve and friendly. Food was very, very tasty and good value. Would definitely eat here again

Wandering around Soho pre-theatre matinee for a quick bit of lunch we stopped here. A small cafe style place with a simple menu. We shared hummus with a small side of bread to start followed by a chicken bowl and halloumi bowl, both served with lettuce, red cabbage, tomatoes, couscous, cauliflower, olives/gherkins and more hummus. We added a side of fries and a couple of chargeable sauces (chilli especially hot). Washed down with a small bottle of Asahi and a less small Pinot Grigio. Might have been nice to have seen a bill rather than just get told how much it was (service charge added). Touched ยฃ50 for a snack. Decent enough but wouldnโt seek it out next time in town.
Be the first to ReplyBest Falafel and fantastic service
The Falafel are absolutely amazing and really fresh, the service was impeccable. We were served by Daoud who was really great. We wanted to grab a quick bite so ordered a takeaway. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food & service! โค๏ธ
The service & food was unreal. You can tell the ingredients they use are super fresh & the quality of them is top tier. Also, the final price of the dinner made the experience even more satisfying! Really recommend the falafel, the best one Iโve had in years. Really wanna thank MAOZ 8 the whole of the staff for making it an unforgettable experience!
Be the first to ReplyLovely food!
Me and my friend had a veggie feast there! We only paid about ยฃ25 each, when we had so much food we could barely walk after. Staff was polite and there's a more relaxed atmosphere than many restaurants. I understand that may not be everyone's cup of tea, but we didn't mind. Lovely food selections without having an overwhelmingly large menu. In general, it was a good time, and location is great, as it's super central. I'd definitely go back.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, grteat location but very rude people.
We went there for a pre-theatre dinner with my family. The food was very good but as soon as we finished they asked us to pay and leave, no coffee nor dessert was offered. They spoiled the whole experience.
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant is a scam. Will never go back again
This restaurant is a cheat DO NOT GO THERE! Went there a week before Christmas with other half, the bill was ยฃ68 but when the guy input to the card machine it was ยฃ86, only realized I was overcharged the next day, been try to call the restaurant ever since to get my money back but all he says is they will investigate and get back to me but they NEVER did. Shame on you Maoz
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, great location, nice people
As it says above, the food was spot on, great for us vegetarians too. Ideal location for lunch before a theatre visit. Really nice people too. Fab little place that deserves every success.
Be the first to ReplyBest Mediterranean restaurant in soho

Be the first to ReplyThe best baba ganoush in London
This was a surprise meal and wallahi it didn't dissapoint! Warm welcome even though they weren't yet open so we sat outside in the sunshine before going inside. Nice decor and comfy seats (I like that they have window seats too if you're on your own) and menu of course is amazing So that baba ganoush? Beautifully smoky with a sweet freshness from the pomegranate seeds and a nutty tahini flavour running through it too. Had some beautiful baklava to finish too. Lovely food, lovely people and well be back!
Be the first to ReplyNew menu rolled out today.. Tasty food but hard to figure out how much to order.
Chicken and lamb kebabs were tasty as was the tomato salad and couscous. However the new menu is a bit different as the mains are meant to have sides added to create a complete meal. I would have loved and option to make it a "platter" or something with little tastes of dips, couscous etc without having to think about it!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Night at Maoz, Old Compton Street, Soho
Normally I grab a takeaway falafel wrap here at lunch as it is delicious and great value. They have progressed to a fully licensed bar and evening venue. Not big but it was busy. Claudia, her husband and the kitchen did an amazing job. Evening started with cocktails then a selection of Meze starters ( the crispy Aubergine was a stand out dish) then the mains a selection of Eastern Mediterranean dishes - vegans willingly accommodated. Finished off by deserts and coffee and limoncello. And such fantastic value for money for a west end restaurant. The atmosphere the whole evening vibrant.

I have been to Maoz 3 times now. The food is tasty although I prefer the schnitzel bites before. The staff are amazing. I had the hummus with Turkish bread, Korean bites and chicken skewer. All of which were very tasty.
Be the first to ReplyGlorious!
The tube strike left empty tables Didnโt stop us! Pre theatre, brilliant food lovely staff A wonderful find, certainly the first of many more visits Thanks guys ๐
Be the first to ReplyFirst time eating Falafel.
I took my wife and kids to this place. We have never had Middle Eastern food before. It was amazing. Very friendly service and great food.
Be the first to ReplyYummy lunch spot
Came here for lunch with my family on Saturday afternoon and had a lot of delicious food. The prices are reasonable for the area and have already rebooked to come for dinner on Friday night based on my experience. New favourite quick eat stop for sure!
Be the first to ReplyVery average
Not great service, small portions, food is average. It was busy, which is to be expected on a saturday in Soho, but other than the staff being busy, it was very disorganised. The food was rather bland and we waited some time to order as nobody was available, so we seated 40 minutes before we could eat. Not worth the wait.
Be the first to ReplyMost expensive hummus
9 pounds for hummus and pitta. Looking at reviews this place used to be reasonable priced. Not so anymore. Complete tourist trap with average food. I would avoid.
