WOW
What an unusual and inspired menu. Thank goodness there were four of us so we could try many of what was on offer. The most memorable for me were the shrimp dish and the "fried chicken". Truly one of the most unique restaurants I've been to anywhere in the world. Great service as the server took time to explain the dishes and answer all our questions.

Every dish we tried was remarkably interesting, complex and satisfying. Too bad we couldn’t consume the entire menu. Tiny place with bold flavors. Delightful.

Great crew and concept, mix of Indian-Mexican-African cuisine. The neighborhood is great for walking around. Vegan friendly.

What a phenomenal meal! In my top 10 ever! We went for a late lunch and everything about this place was amazing - design, service, music, vibe, food. Best, lightest samosas. Delicious quesadilla and the shrimp were amazing. Excellent chicken also. I’ll go every time I’m in Mexico City!

The food was sensational and I tried different food and flavours I've not had before. The star of the show was the patra which is a Mexican vegetable. Unbelievable and completely unique. The camerones papelar were perhaps the best prawn I've eaten. Just excellent food.

I'm honestly annoyed reading these reviews. Do yourself a favor, order the shrimp and the equites. I wanted to cry it was so good. Easily the best food I ate in Mexico City.
Be the first to ReplyNice idea but food disappointing
We read the reviews and articles before going and were excited! We got there and were seated right away. The restaurant had the feel of a hip place. The waiter tried to push us into wines which was weird. Never had that before. Shouldn’t pressure people to buy wine. We got the samosas which were great. We also got the chat which was delicious. Two for two! We were pumped for the rest. Unfortunately, it all went downhill from there. The fried chicken was dry and did not taste good at all. The utappum was not only burnt, but the barbocoa on top had no flavour at all. It was so disappointing. The corn was barely edible. These three dishes we couldn’t finish (we probably only had a few bites from each one). Not once did anyone ask if there was something wrong. I guess I could’ve said something, but other than the burnt uddapum, what could I have said? Your food tastes weird? We asked for the bill and the guy asked “what gratuity should i add?”. I would’ve tipped since the waitstaff isn’t responsible for the awful food, but the question was not appropriate. Anyway, this place has a lot of hype and I just don’t get it. Cool vibe and they were nice to deal with overall. If eating good food is important to you, there are other options.
