Absolutely LOVE brunch here, but they seem to have gotten a little more uptight. We used to come to brunch here all the time, always with a large party, because we love that the food and drinks just keep coming and it's all settled in the bottomless. This time we felt we had to ask for so much. We sat without food for some time and we had to keep asking for drinks. It was pretty disappointing especially because they're so strict about their time frame. They also used to being the pitcher and refill our drinks and now they clear your glass and you have to wait for a new drink. It's definitely an elevated addition to their service, but they kept miscounting and forgetting drinks. It was uncomfortable because they kept counting our glasses at the table like we were trying to get one over on them. All in all we like the food and the option for bottomless, but don't love the new changes in how they do the bottomless. The drinks were yummy but we had to keep waiting for them. Staff is very friendly, and we appreciated them letting us take our time finishing our last drink and not rushing us out after we paid the bill
Be the first to ReplyMaya us definitely a gem in the neighborhood.
Their food is delicious and there service is pretty on point but kind of slacked today as it was a busy Friday, it took over 20 minutes to get our waiter again. Although, love the vibe and astronomer of the place and they have happy hour to 7, which works perfect when you get out of work later. The carnitas tacos were delish and the sangria was tasty. This is definitely nice spot to catch up with friends.

Surprised that the food was less than expected in quality, for the price. Decent service.

Food is bomb, atmosphere is bomb. I'm so drunk writing this. Waiter was a king

Came with a group of 13 people to do their bottomless brunch (food and drinks) and it came to $78 per person (including tax). For the variety of food but especially drinks, I thought it was a pretty decent deal. They started by giving us a sampling of the menu which they served in waves. We also ordered some other items off the menu, however they are quite slow in delivering any other item that you order. The carnitas tacos, the corn on the cob, churros, and plantains were my favorites. The vegetarian tacos were my least favorite - they were pretty wet in texture. They have a pretty extensive list of drinks that you can order off their bottomless drink menu, this includes a variety of mimosas, margaritas, bloody mary's, and bloody maria's. They are not shy with their pours either and were very on top of making sure our glasses were filled. They were very accommodating in adjusting our reservation size multiple times. For a group larger than 12, they do want you to contact the restaurant directly. We ended up adding one more person to our table at the last minute and they were extremely accommodating!
Be the first to ReplyWe went for brunch with our family.
As an initial matter, the deal for bottomless is really great... however that's only true so long as you don't mind being cut off 5-10 minutes before your 90 minutes are up and told you can't get anything else to drink at the bar despite being told to go to the bar to drink while they set up for dinner. If you do bottomless, keep in mind that they won't serve you drinks afterwards as some sort of policy even though you aren't drunk at all and your kid only wants a Shirley temple. I really enjoyed this place just not being kicked out.

Awesome Happy Hour spot with a wide selection of tasty margaritas (spicy one was my favorite) and the ambiance of an intimate/higher end hang out spot. High key probably the best brunch spot in Manhattan. 9 a drink. 5/5 stars as a happy hour/date spot.
Be the first to ReplyQuality at this place has slipped CONSIDERABLY.
Food is pricey for the portions you get and, to add insult to injury, is oversalted. Don't think Maya will be around for much longer.Service is fine, polite enough, I suppose. Didn't appreciate how the happy-hour prices were only available at the bar. There was no seating at the bar, and we were led to our table in the restaurant early. They should have honored the happy-hour prices in the restaurant, which was eerily empty for a Friday night. Truly stunning to see.NOT RECOMMENDED.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent place that saved our evening! Went to The Jeffery
Excellent place that saved our evening! Went to The Jeffery and then Treadwell Park and both place's not great! Treadwell park dirty taps and no selection or wine at The Jeffery so we stopped at Maya and the Drinks and wine were great! and the Food was excellent. The bartenders were on top of everything it was very crowded so must be a go to spot in the hood!

*3.5 stars* came for bottomless brunch with 5 other girls. $59 per person for unlimited food and drinks was a great deal. The food was delicious. Some of my favorites was carnitas tacos, chicken fajitas, corn on the Cobb and churros but everything else was good too. Service was pretty good. They kept on refilling our drinks in a timely manner. Our reservation was at 2pm but we were served until 4pm which is nice since I think the bottomless is typically 90 mins. Atmosphere was alright too, it was pretty busy. They can work on decor if I'm being honest since I didn't see much of it but would still come back for the great food!

Went for bottomless brunch which includes bottomless drinks and food served family style. The photos don't do the food justice whatsoever, the flavors are so fresh and delicious. My favorite was the salmon (not pictured) it was cooked perfectly and of such good quality. The tacos were well seasoned, but the filling to tortilla ratio could be better & the meat was slightly dry. For a sweet tooth I recommend the plantains, waffles, and strawberry mimosa. The decor inside is gorgeous as well. I'll definitely be returning.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, nice upbeat atmosphere, excellent service.
It's good for small groups and large groups. Can get a little loud in the middle of the resto, but plenty of quieter tables too. Highly recommended.

Been traveling to Mexico now for 16 years so I'm a little critical of Mexican spots, but this was decent. Staff was great and overall enjoyed our experience.
Be the first to ReplyWe did the bottomless brunch on a Sunday afternoon.
Sat right down and our waiter Andrew was very attentive. He made recommendations of what his favorite menu items were. We tried it all, but the pork tacos and the hot dogs were by far my favorite. Our mimosas were never empty as Andrew paid close attention to when they were getting low and came right over to fill them up. The manager even came over a few times to see how our experience was. I would recommend anyone to try this place and I will definitely be back next time I'm in the city.

Went on Saturday afternoon for happy hour (5-7) and enjoyed some drinks and food. Everything was delicious. We had the chicken flautas, carnitas tacos, queso fundido with chorizo and tuna ceviche. For drinks we had rosarita and maya margarita both delicious, we also ordered a beer "Chelada"Which is a traditional Mexican way of having beer, with lime juice and a salt ring and we were surprised or server didn't know what it was, but we explained to him. The size of everything we ordered was small, the tacos too, smaller than regular size tortillas. I would advise to order at least 2-3 dishes per person if you want to try different flavors, or just go for the regular menu and order a regular dish, at the end price wise it's gonna be the same or even a better deal.Service was good, music, drinks and food was well prepared and everything very tasty. Would probably come back to try their entrees and some other drinks. They also offer unlimited brunch with a variety of drinks and food so this might be our next visit.
Be the first to ReplyThis was the worst $70 (with tip) I've ever spent.
I can always look past the service but it was so bad. Nothing was explained, stuff just started coming out without any questions. Most of the food items you could tell we're premade and stale. The food was not good or substantial. We weren't refilled unless we flagged someone down and it wasn't busy. It was a weird and disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend.
Be the first to ReplyCute place for brunch with the girls or family .
Warm staff, speedy service. One thing to note if you get the unlimited brunch with food included, you don't have the option to chose your own food items . With the unlimited drinks + food, plates of food are brought to you . Besides the tacos (lamb, pork) I did not enjoy the rest of the items brought out . Definitely a fun place to try .
Be the first to ReplyThis used to be the best place! The menu changed.
Fifteen years coming here and now they have a super RUDE entitled Mex worker at the bar! What a shame! This place was an institution. Where's the manager or owner? Do you realize it's nyc? Do you realize it's post-pandemic? Guy at the bar needs a paw paw. Not returning again only due to the Rude Mexican guy at the bar. The guy at your place told clients to leave at 10:00 pm on a Saturday night!!!!!!!!!!! Horrible!!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat place to take a date.
The atmosphere is really intimate and they have a large selection of happy hour drinks. My date had the steak fajitas and loved it. I had the lobster taco which was tasty.

Found this place online for Sunday brunch and we were hooked upon seeing the bottomless food and drinks for $55. Made a reservation towards the tail end, which may have been a bad idea as they were super busy. There were several large groups and sadly very loud. My companion and I had a hard time hearing one another despite there being two empty tables right next to us. Our server was so sweet, I don't recall her name. She kept a great attitude while running around. The system was pretty easy, can order multiple dishes at one time and typically only one drink. The mimosas were super tart for both of us so we switched the margaritas and those were tasty. By far the best were the carnitas tacos and the lamb tacos. They are the perfect size and you can eat so many....yummmy. Will go back during a non brunch time to test other items on the menu.

Bottomless brunch sounds like an amazing deal but it was not. It was too good to be true. After 1 margarita and half a glass of mimosa, I walked out of Maya with a pounding headache and a flushed face. Thank God, I had an emergency and had to leave my party unexpectedly early. My hangover lasted for 8-9 hours. I have not felt this way since the good ole' college days. The rest of the folks I was with had a hangover until the next following day. Mind you, bottomless brunch is limited to 90 minutes. It's obvious how low quality booze left us all with a raging hangover. Lesson learned. Avoid bottomless anything.

The margaritas are great, the gaucamole with ahi tuna is INSANELY delicious! We had the shrimp and chicken fajitas and they were very good. The Mexican street corn is great and the wine list was very fairly priced. Our server was really lovely. I definitely recommend Maya!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, great service, great time.
I had amazing tacos and one of the best fajitas I've ever had. Could be a bit pricey but highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyI've been here a few times and just tried the bottomless
I've been here a few times and just tried the bottomless brunch for the first time for President's Day. Hands-down the best brunch experience in the Upper East Side and dare I say probably Manhattan.Wait staff - amazing. Servers are extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly.Price - can't beat it. $55 for all you can eat/drink brunch every weekend.Drinks - awesome. I've had the margaritas and all of the mimosa concoctions and everything has been so good.Food - very good. Lots of options and a really authentic representation of Mexican cuisine. You're doing yourself a disservice if you live in the area and you don't try this place, especially for brunch.

Best margaritas! Restaurant week menu was a good value, but would potentially be overpriced from the regular menu. Lovely plating - the food was great! Mexican donuts were insaneLy good.
