I've tried Mensho Tokyo a few times already and each time the food is consistently delicious! Tried a different flavor ramen each visit and still can't decide which is the best; so good. Small indoor dining setup so they ask you kindly if you don't stay too long. They used to take your orders but now they set up a self ordering and checkout system that is efficient, just like the quick service. They also don't take reservations so it's a first come first serve basis. There's usually a long line so expect a wait. But it'll build up an appetite that's definitely worth the wait! With the speedy service, the line moves relatively fast as long as the customers respectfully don't mingle too long.

Waited around 30 mins for a party of 2 on a Saturday evening, which was pretty fast considering the popularity of this place and their notorious long lines. Service was great, they refilled waters and checked in frequently. Ordering is through a QR code and you pay right at the beginning through the same QR code - I had cash for once and was a little disappointed I couldn't use it. I ordered the Toripaitan chicken broth ramen. It was pretty good, I loved the fried burdock root and never had anything like it! I think overall I prefer simplistic basic tonkotsu ramen, and I felt like the extra toppings and whatnot made the dish have too many different flavors and textures overall.

This spot is all that and them some! I highly recommend this place for some great ramen. My biggest regret is not ordering additional pork in my ramen which another Yelper recommended. The pork was insanely good!

Flavorful vegan tantanmen although I was expecting it to be less soupy and more saucy. I choked on a cauliflower rice here but other than that I did enjoy all the toppings. My friend got the tori Paitan and I thought the soup was OK... overall kind of overhyped but I like that they have a variety of vegan options.Ordering is online and tip is mandatory. However, upon checkout they don't tell you how much tip is included in the tab. Our tab read something like $34 + $3 tax, $43 total; we were really confused how the math checked out until we realized that they just include tip without mention. Just a heads up for other patrons!

Delicious - quick & easy ordering process & because it's a small space I like that they try to take the best precautions and safety for their guests. They close at 10 but do not worry....If you're in line before that, they make sure you get served. So I guess I should say they close the line off at 10...I loved the flavors and can't wait to come back !

The Maze Soba was very tasty, has a very fragrant shallot-garlic flavor to it, highly recommended. Matcha ramen is a good concept but you can't really taste the delicate match asides from the powder making everything kinda extra creamy, I would say it is worth a try. Enoki mushrooms chip can be a great addition to the noodle as a topping.

Even at 9:30, half an hour before closing, there was a line outside of Mensho. We waited about 15 minutes, all while staring at the people inside slurping their noodles like they were zoo animals. You order online, which I'm guessing helps with table turnover since you don't have to wait for someone to get your order or drop off a check. I tried the corn wings, which were basically just grilled corn cobs sliced in a certain way. For noodles, I ordered the Matcha Tori Paitan, and it was so creamy and the matcha tasted very fresh. I loved the fried burdock on top, and it's a very beautiful dish. The meat was kind of cold, which was sort of jarring compared to the warmth of the soup and noodles. The noodles have the perfect texture, and it was the perfect amount of food that didn't leave me feeling stuffed at the end. However, that single bowl did cost $22 after tax and tip were added on, which is... a lot. Quality food, but definitely not worth waiting hours for.

The seating and decor reminds me of one of the restaurants I've been to in Japan! We got the blaze ramen and tori paitan ramen, with enoki mushroom chips.I liked the tori paitan ramen a lot. Blaze was good but was a bit too viscous and heavy. They had matcha ramen which sounded so interesting that I may want to try in the future.

Our party of four arrived at 5:45 on a Tuesday and waited in line. The place is a bit quaint and tight. You order by phone and since we were seated near the kitchen, it was exciting to see the orders being made! We got our food at 6:55. The portions were pretty big - nobody in my party finished our food and we are typically big eaters. I ordered the tori paitan ramen which I enjoyed! The kale was unexpected but I liked the texture and the broth was flavorful and creamy. The spoon they provided was really big. My ramen didn't come with an egg, and an egg was at least an extra $2.

glad i finally tried it. it's located in tenderloin district, so it's kinda sketch. i was walking and some guy was "psst, psst" at me. i was scared but glad i had someone with me. i def don't recommend walking around in this area, just in case you aren't familiar with this district.10 mins before opening, a line was already forming. so glad we got there early, i was so sure we will get seated first seating. yay! btw, they do check for vaccination card and ID.i've already studied their menu so i was ready. i love garlic and spicy. so i got their GKO, garlic knock out. comes with pork chashu, different kind of spices, and of course garlic. i actually like my ramen broth more on a lighter side. this broth is rich, thick, and creamy. but i thought it was still pretty good. i wish it was spicier though. the noodles were just right. i love chewy noodles.we also tried their spicy corn wings. it wasn't too exciting. i will prob skipped this next time. the ajitama egg is good though. perfectly cooked.def come early if you don't wanna wait in line.

My girlfriend and I arrived around 4:45 15 minutes before they opened and there was already a line forming down the block. Luckily we made the cut off for the first seating. The inside is super small and a little cramped, but they do have large plexi separating each group. The enoki mushroom chips were just ok for me, very oily. I heard great things about their vegan ramen so I decided to give it a try. The broth was very flavorful and I loved how they made the enoki mushroom look and taste like a piece of meat. The nuts were a little strange for me but it did add good flavor. Their portions are pretty generous and neither of us finished. Too bad they don't have to-go containers, seems like such a waste. Maybe bring your own Tupperware. Would come again to try their other broths, but parking in this area is TERRIBLE. Pay close attention to the parking restrictions because the meter maids are quick to ticket and watch out for poop!

Even though we got there before five, we still had to wait about 35 minutes before we were able to get in but the service is extremely fast and the line also moves fairly quickly. If you're into thick and creamy Ramen, this is definitely the place for you! The ramen was super tasty and I loved how chewy and thick the noodles were. Also the sous vide duck and soft boiled egg were to die for.What we ordered: -Spicy Tori Paitan with Duck-G.K.O with a soft boiled egg

This place is so cute and has amazing food! There was quite a line outside which is a pretty good sign that it's a popular place. This ramen was unlike anything I've had - the noodles were so chewy and soaked up the flavor of the soup wonderfully. The broth was so rich and creamy, and everything paired well together. I saw an online review to get extra chashu, and it was such a good decision because the slices of pork were buttery and soft, which melted right on my tongue. It was a great experience, and well worth the price!

I have been here twice, showed up extra early the second time because the wait is long but absolutely worth it! The best ramen ever, the owners show up with the handmade noodles made fresh of the day! Ramen broth is super rich and flavorful, I am shocked by how amazing it is. Honestly, best ramen in California in my opinion. The broth was ridiculously rich and flavorful. Just a blast of flavor. Ramen noodles were cooked to perfection. Adding in duck chasiu was definitely a plus. This place can and will be very very crowded. Expect to wait inline for atleast an hour if you come on weekends. It's also very small and packed, so you'll have to snuggle your way to your seats. No problem though, the amazing ramen is very well worth it.P.S: Kinda weird but not sure why they decided to put kale. KALE. Doesn't matter though, just a weird topping.

In the heart of SF where normal tough to find parking is a norm, but don't let that stop you. A must try if your craving some of the Ramen. Don't forget to order an extra side of noodles for 2 bucks ! Customer service is awesome too. Japanese Ramen

At least not what I ordered. Perhaps their other ramens are good, but the GKO is lackluster at best. Also got the spicy enoki chips, which were nice but nothing to write home about. The star, the ramen broth, tasted of nothing but garlic and was WAY too oily. Plus when it arrived the broth was already cold, but the noodles were still hot...ish. Go somewhere else. I might be willing to come back to try something else if someone else was paying. It was my first time and because all ordering is done through their website and not with the servers it's really hard to ask questions or get anything on request as the servers are so focused on food running and cleaning they barely look up.

Get there early, before it opens, as there will be a line to get in. We were there on a Monday about 10 minutes before they opened and we were already back far enough to be let in after the first group filled the available seats. Turnover is pretty quick, though, so the wait wasn’t long. One of us had the fantastic lamb entree. Powerful flavors which all mixed together and balanced. The other had G.K.O. which was great but didn’t achieve the balance or level of interest of the lamb dish. You order and pay on the phone so there is very little interaction with the staff but service was prompt and friendly for the small interaction we did have. We also had two appetizers, the corn and the spicy corn, which were very good but note that “spicy” means spicy.

From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.

It's fine if the sellers are just individuals that can't use the reservation. But just curious: 1. What's preventing people from creating lots of email accounts and write a script to book all the reservations FOR FREE then resale it here? 2. Since restaurants can be partners, can they benefit from the bidding? If so wouldn't this just be ridiculous? So a restaurant can sell reservations just like selling a ticket? And customers not only need to pay for the reservation also need to pay for the meal?

Once you place your bid, all sellers with a connection to the venue will start to work on fulfilling your desired time and date of the reservation. This process can be instant or may take a few days as most locations are either fully booked or hard to get! Stay tuned!

Best Answer Hey @HolisticQuestion30, whenever a bid expires, can't be filled or is cancelled by you, your funds are deposited in your AppointmentTrader Main Account in real time so you can use them for another bid instantly and don't have to carry multiple authorizations on your credit card for a number of days. You can access the funds with the credit card number that is shown next to your main account (labeled 'Show Card Number'). The real-time access is also true for any funds you earn from selling or reselling a reservation. You can use this card-number at any place online that accepts credit cards. (Currently limited to USD, multi currency support is planned.) AT is currently working on implementing a push-to-debit function, if you would like funds sent to your bank account before this feature is live, please email support [AT] appointmenttrader.com The team is usually very responsive and happy to assist with bridging any tech gap with their service :-)
