Wow!! What an amazing experience one of the best dinners I have had in Vegas! Kudos to the Chefs and culinary team everything was prepared to perfection and the presentations are award winning. Alex was our server and made recommendations and guided us through the tasting menu while the sommelier paired a white wine with the black bass course. Management checked in on our experience and all the staff were friendly and gracious. The caviar parfait is a must and the japanese A5 was buttery smooth! Cant wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyThis is probably our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas
This is probably our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas because the food is consistently top notch and it has a lot of our favorites (like the Maine lobster pot pie). We always get the tasting menu. A new recent change is that they have consolidated the Seasonal & Regular tasting menus into just one tasting menu for $185/person (with a $115 wine pairing). You can also pay a $48 supplement (well worth it!) to add on the Caviar Parfait which is smoked salmon, creme Fraiche and egg mimosa topped with delicious caviar Yum!You can make reservations online and you'll need them since the restaurant is always busy. The ambiance is very nice too and the restaurant is located by the ever changing Bellagio Conservatory which is fun to check out the seasonally changing exhibits while you wait for your table.
Be the first to ReplyUsed to be my favorite place for "foodie" dinner in Vegas.
My last visit is concerning. Pros- The Tuna tartare is amazing. The delicate balance between the spicy, sweet, and tuna can't be missed!- The Foie Gras is cooked to perfection and amazing.- The caviar parfait sounds strange but is delicious. - The service is exceptional! Glace in the direction of a server and they will be at your table in moments. - Not loud, something that is becoming harder to find in Vegas. Cons- Expensive, but it is a foodie place. - I typically love the lobster pot pie but this time the lobster was tough. I mean really tough! About the same as jerky or a fibrous steak. My wife could only eat about 1/4th before giving up. I made it all the way through, but my teeth were sore for a while after. I've had the Lobster Pot Pie at least 5 times over the years and it has never been tough. Given the $145 price tag, this should be much better. My wife and I celebrated our 32 anniversary and dropped over $800 for two pot pies, wine, and appetizers only to have the entire experience ruined by a really tough lobster.

This is located in Bellagio, right in their conservatory garden, beautiful location. We arrived early for our reservation and greeted by 2 friendly hostesses and seated right away. The place is smaller than I would have imagined, and decor and vibe more neutral as well. But the service and the food were excellent. They were nice enough to pour us each a glass of champagne on the house for our anniversary.I also had the MICHAEL'S OLD FASHIONED(Michael Mina's Signature SingleBarrel Bourbon, Demerara Cherry Bark & Vanilla Bitters),which was about as perfect of an old fashioned as I've ever had.My glass of Brunello di Montalcino, Campogiovanni, Tuscany, that I had with dinner was excellent as well, dark and earthy. Now the food. The bread service was ok, warm naan type bread which hardened and cooled quickly, but very flavorful as well as the 3 accompaniments of yogurt, hummus, and olives.I had a half dozen oysters, which were east coast malpec and west coast kumamoto, with usual acoutrements. These were ok as well, however not as briny as i usually like and with no accompanying seawater. But the tuna tartare! Wow. The server finished the presentation at the table mixing with pine nuts, asian(?) pears, minced garlic, sesame oil, and egg yolk. She explained that the tuna was flown in from Hawaii. This was excellent and was the star of my meal. Flavors were amazing, the tuna was amazing, tasted and reminded me of our previous Hawaii trip (incidentally we also ate at Michael Mina's restaurant there, Mina's Fish House). I had the phyllo crusted cod which was nice, had a bite of my wife's delicious branzino. Dessert which had pot de chocolate and a strawberry sorbet on struedel was very good too.Nice meal and service.
Be the first to ReplyOur best meal of 2022 was here.
We had the most attentive and kind server, and thoroughly enjoyed every dish we tried. The branzino is quite honestly the best prepared fish we have had in a long while. Moist, decadent, a statement! The desserts were also excellent. We will be back.

Everything about our experience at Michael Mina was phenomenal! The food was unbelievable, and they did a fantastic job pairing drinks with every course. And the crazy thing is that the service may have even been better than the food! The team was amazing, and you can tell that they genuinely care and want you to have a wonderful experience. Multiple people in our party have already booked a return reservation for the next time they are in town, and I certainly won't hesitate to do the same when I make it back!

The food was good but with an issue. First, we were craving butter poached lobster, and MM reportedly has a great butter poached lobster pot pie. It was a good pot pie, however, it includes a good sauce that totally overpowers any yummy flavor from the lobster. This pot pie could have any protein and have the same flavor profile. The lobster meat was lost in the dish. Don't get me wrong, it was good, but it was not a good lobster dish. Second, we included a 6 oz F1 wagyu filet @ $65/oz to accompany the lobster pot pie. The filet was a very nice cut of meat. It was tender as one expects. Unfortunately, we could not taste the flavor of the wagyu beef. The filet was served in what can be described as a truffle gravy/sauce. This sauce was good, but it completely overwhelmed the beef. This presentation could easily be completed with a prime cut of beef at a significantly reduced price and have the same affect. In short, MM took what could have/should have been two very nice protein selections and robbed them of their great flavors. These dishes were unnecessarily complex when a more simple approach would have delivered a better flavor profile and experience. We were generally underwhelmed by the food. This not withstanding, the triple chocolate dessert was among the best desserts we've ever had. If you want wagyu beef and butter poached lobster, go somewhere else but make sure to stop by Michael Mina afterwards for dessert.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best.
Everything is as it should be. Top flight service and meal. Truffled risotto with black spiny lobster is delicate and lush all at once. The phyllo sole is a high end fish and chips feel but unlike anything you've eaten. Steaks, well yes. Food courses come at same time and are delivered accurately to the correct diners. The appetizer to dinner course was tad longer than anticipated but not enough to detract the experience.

THIS IS THE REAL DEFINITION OF FINE DININGWe ate here before and said is was the best tasting menu we had ever experienced. We came back to explore the rest of the menu. Glad we did. We loved the caviar parfait (which is like nothing we have ever had before), coconut shrimp, sole, and filet mignon. One of the really special things about dining there is the dining experience. We were greeted by the smiling Lucy and welcomed by several employees on the way to our seat. Eric, the sommelier, always has a perfect wine to match for our meal. Just ask him, Our table server, Marteen, was always there with a smile. Another server, Arleni, always served with a smile too. Our waiter, Marcio, knows absolutely everything about every dish. The general manager, Justin, was always in the background to make sure everything ran flawlessly. And it always did. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and appreciated. We were able to eat leisurely, and never felt rushed. As we left, we were thanked and wished a good evening by several more employees. This was truly a fine dining experience

What an amazing experience! This was first class in every way. Not only was the food amazing but the menu/wine pairings were well thought out and explained. We were lucky to meet chef Raj and he spent some time giving us an overview of the food to come. Prior to each course the sommelier would explain each wine and how it pairs and changes the flavor of each course. My favorite was the king crab topped with caviar and gold flakes. This was maybe my favorite bite ever. Everything was done to perfection and the ambiance was fantastic. I can't wait to return.
Be the first to ReplyIt was my first time trying this restaurant out.
We had reservations at 7:30 pm and sat down promptly after. We ordered some drinks and I got a glass of wine. For appetizers, we got the seafood tower which was very good. Then we got the tuna tar tar. And honest I do not think it had any flavor. For my entree I got the salmon and a side of Brussel sprouts. Our server was great, along with his server assistant. The salmon was cooked perfectly. However, the food timing was not the best. We waited and waited for our food for so long. The food was good but I think it was overly priced.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent meal.
The service was fantastic. We did the seasonal tasting menu with the wine pairing. Satisfied from the first bite in the bread course to the last bite of dessert. Any time I'm in Vegas I'll be sure to return.
Be the first to ReplyOur dining experience last week was an out-of-this-world
Our dining experience last week was an out-of-this-world excellent, inventive gastronomic experience that was accompanied by delightful service all which showcased the most exciting dining experience of my life. The world-class culinary arts techniques in all the dishes we enjoyed: Tuna & Foie Gras 'Rossini, Potato Gnocchi & Marine Lobster, the Crispy Spot Prawns were executed to perfection. Amazing experience. Thank you!

My favorite app was the hamachi crudo, perfect balance of all flavours in each bite. The staff were all very attentive, knew the menu and ingredients very well and made it a very enjoyable dinner.
Be the first to ReplyI honestly feel this is one of the most underrated fine
I honestly feel this is one of the most underrated fine dining restaurants in Las Vegas. I'm a big foodie and have dined at them all! I truly believe a testament to an outstanding restaurant is the test of time and how long they have thrived in one location. Michael Mina has not only stood the rest of time, but is up there with Joel Robuchon and Picasso as far as a tasting menu goes. Honestly, I enjoyed it even more than JR. The lobster pot pie literally might be one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. And the Caviar parfait starter, just wow. Service is impeccable, wine pouring generous. Would highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I came here thinking that this place would be
My wife and I came here thinking that this place would be amazing. Unfortunately, it was terrible. The environment is beautiful, and the service is top-notch. Of course, it is expected at a fine dining establishment like this. However, the food was terrible. We had the lobster pot pie which is so fishy and pungent that it was awful. The Foie Gras is not something I eat but my wife thought it was ok. The Filet Mignon was cooked just right except that it tasted like it had no seasoning at all, not even salt. I had a salad that I forgot the name of, but it had some citrus vinaigrette that was so odd it didn't go with any of the flavors of the dish. I couldn't imagine what it would be good with. Overall, it was a serious disappointment, and I cannot recommend this restaurant. I'm only giving a 2 star for the amazing service and beautiful environment, but the food is the most important part of a restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyOMG - outstanding service! This was my first fine dining
OMG - outstanding service! This was my first fine dining experience in Vegas and it was incredible! The wait staff at Michael Mina is top notch. Our waiter was incredibly patient with us (a group of 3) as we looked over the menu and asked questions. I took a little while to decide on a wine but I didn't feel rushed at all - the waiter even complimented me on my choice of wine lol. At some point during the meal, I changed my mind about one of the dishes and asked for it to be changed and he was said it was no problem! For the meal, I decided on the signature tasting menu. I swapped out the lobster pot pie for the tortellini dish in the season tasting menu. Everything was cooked to perfection and so delicious, especially the prime beef with the foie gras.I was so full by the end that I needed to pack my dessert to go! The textures of chocolate dessert was a decadent way to end the meal. I wish I was able to consume it at the restaurant because it comes with a scoop of ice cream but the restaurant threw in another serving of the chocolate dessert in my to-go box so that was nice!
Be the first to ReplyThank you Michael Mina for an amazing night full of
Thank you Michael Mina for an amazing night full of delicious food and wine. The vegetarian tasting menu was divine. When we let the staff know we also needed one option gluten free, they did not miss a beat - the chef changing some options on the fly and they were all amazing. Service is stellar. One of our favorite things about Vegas is the food and Michael Mina does not disappoint.
Be the first to ReplyAn absolutely incredible dining experience.
Over the top impeccable service from a very professional, friendly and knowledgeable team of servers. Thank you. There eclectic menu and wine list was exceptional. They offer two menus, one tasting and one for Ala Carte. The food is absolutely delicious along with wonderful presentation. The Lobster Pot Pie is too die for.$$$$ but then you get what you pay for.
Be the first to ReplyStarted with the hamachi Crudo this was very good.
I got the swordfish as an entree with a side of mushrooms. Although the swordfish was very good, it was tiny for the price ($65!). The mushrooms were over salted. Couldn't finish it. Overall service was very good but not really worth it.

It is quickly becoming on of my favorite restaurants along with Bardot Brassiere (hey we are Mina fan boys-sue us)Had the phyllo encrusted sole and it was delicious. Perfectly done. Service, as expected in a Mina restaurant, was top notch. Overall a great enjoyable meal in a great atmosphere. We will be back.
