We stopped in for an early dinner because we have both been craving dim sum. Everything was absolutely delicious! Fluffy bao, well seasoned Shanghai soup dumplings and crispy mochi were some of the highlights. Both of us loved the pork in tofu skin and the fried green tea mochi with black sesame filling. We had several pots of tea and the wait staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly. Everything was clean and it was a nice space. We are really looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of their extensive menu!

Wow we have been coming here off and on and the food has been just ok. Today however it was pretty good. All of the Dim Sum seemed fresh and very flavorful. Not always the norm so this is a good thing. Maybe they got a new chef. We came here with the family so 12 of us. It was nice. We got seated right away lucky before the rush on a Saturday. We ordered chow fun and chow mein . The fun was really fresh. Nice and soft. The chow mein was good to. The only thing I didn't like was the custard tart. They changed it to a hard crust instead of the flakey one. Bad choice, it was really hard so pass on that. We will definitely be coming back for dim sum. Sorry no pictures since it was a family thing I forgot.

First timer over here!My family and I came to celebrate my mom's birthday at Ming Dynasty. The wait was a bit insane on a Sunday. My sister arrived there 20 minutes before I arrived. She had placed her name on the list for a party of 8 and she let me know there wasn't many tables occupied. People were waiting outside but luckily we were able to wait inside. However, when I came in, my sister informed me that they had crossed her name off the list and she had to add her name in again. She didn't hear her name get called. Mind you, we were waiting inside and we were very aware. She made sure to stand near the list when they were calling customers to a table. She noticed they were skipping people on the list. Then, a party of 13 came after us and the host was going to give them a table 5 minutes after they came in. My sister had to speak up and said NO we have been waiting here for over 40 minutes and they just came in. That was the only reason they had sat us. We then sat down and one of the waiters asked if we wanted tea. We said yes but she didn't ask if we wanted water. So we asked a different waiter if he can give us water. He said "There is a drought and if I give you water you have to drink it. Really?! You are going to hear this everywhere." We were just so surprised at what he said to us that we couldn't even respond. Yes, we drank all the water and the tea!Now as for the food, the Dim Sum and traditional Chinese food was delicious! They were pushing dim sum carts around with a variety of pork buns, custard buns, taro buns, sesame balls, dumplings, Shu Mai and some of the Chinese food we had was their fried rice, chow mien and walnut shrimp...and I have not one bad thing to say about the food except, we ordered way too much that is for sure! We had 3 boxes of left overs. The green tea mochi is a must try!OVERALL, i'd come here again because the food is delicious. Some of the staff were really friendly BUT I'd still say the customer service needs improvement.

First review I did was not so great however we visited again and it was AMAZING!! We visited during lunch rush and they had employees walking around with carts. We got to pick what we wanted and it was such a cool experience. The dumplings were AMAZING!! This will def be a spot my husband and I visit frequently. The shrimp dumpling here are INSANELY good!! Very large and juicy shrimp inside that have a great *pop* texture when you bite into them. The dumpling itself also has a lovely texture. The shu mai is meaty, juicy, and large! These two items alone could be a meal for one. Can't wait to come back and try some entrees and more dim sum!

Came to pack on carbs after a long run but was too tired to eat . Ordered a few dishes and tried their cute little buns and mochi. Food were yummy and delicious . Service was not bad. We got seated right away and the carts came around the table fairly quick. Only bad thing about the service was the male staff who gave attitude when my friend spoke to him in Cantonese and he responded offensively that he spoke English. It's okay to let your costumer know you speak and understood English but you don't need to be rude about it. Other than that everything was good. Would probably go back to try their other buns/desserts.

On broadway...on broadway. Across from Target and the cemetery. This is the place. Dim sum, noodles, duck. Yo, the service was spot on. The gals were so friendly, dim sum carts waited until you made yo mind up. Food as awesome hot. Dumplings, chow mein, tea, roast dishes made me mouf water. Parking Lot: Just watch out for MF Tesla drivers that silently back up on up feets. Yes, he was Asian.

I have ordered from this place a few times through DoorDash, and every time the food is really good, even for having traveled for 15 minutes by car. Not a lot of Chinese places have dim sum, they have a fairly large selection which is more of a unique find. So far everything I have had was very good, probably not the most expensive and organic ingredients if you catch my drift but I avoid seafood and pork dishes in general unless the restaurant specializes in seafood. I do test the waters with shrimp sometimes, and I don't eat pork so never have to worry about that option. I've never been inside so I don't know the quality of the atmosphere, but for at home eating would definitely recommend on a lazy Saturday night. Definitely recommend the beef noodle rolls, the shrimp dumplings and the chicken buns.

I did take-out again about a week ago, and I'm (I hope temporarily) lowering my rating to three stars. That said, I'll probably get their food again. The dumplings were luscious - their steamed shrimp dumplings are "it." I also got pan-fried shrimp dumplings with either chive or scallion (can't find it on the menu right now); they were tasty but for "pan fried" I hoped for more of a crust and the scallions or chives had more of a raw flavor than I hoped for - less blended with the shrimp. I also got a veggie dish, "sautéed bamboo fungus with veggie." I remembered from the last time I ordered it that it had a great selection of veggies - larger pieces of bamboo shoot, tree ears, bok choy, and another interesting veggie or fungus I wasn't familiar with. This time it also included what seemed to be canned mushrooms; they may have been included last time but this time it bugged me when we have such wonderful access to produce here. The bigger issue for me is that I remembered the dish as bland but loved the selection of veggies so I specified "hot and spicy" in my Uber Eats order and it came not at all spicy. This also made me worry about whether my "no MSG" order was seen.That said, I don't know how good the Uber Eats interface is and I don't want to fault the restaurant for not fulfilling my order accurately if the issue is with the ordering interface. There's enough that's interesting and well-made here that I'll come back, but wanted to update my recent rave for the moment.

They are reliable for dim sum. You can get the typical stuff like ha gao, siu mai, tripe, chicken feet... they also make specialty bao, like cute little piggies with taro root. Their black bean spare rib and rice noodle are good too. Their family dinners are also good. This place won't knock your socks off, but it's good to have a go to place for fresh Chinese food and celebrating with family.

I ordered the Peking Duck because my kids don't like to deal with the bones. Guess what? It came with the bones, all chopped up pieces of duck with bones. I'd have ordered the whole duck and pulled off the meat myself. And, that wasn't a whole duck. How do you fit a whole duck with bones in a box? It looks like some left over pieces threw together with some neck bones, too. There were more bones than meat. Such fine restaurant, so sad, so embarrassed. Never go there again.

Always love the idea to taste different dishes!My friend and I were seated promptly and we ordered from their carts, which the carts were available only on weekends! If not, we will be ordering from the typical order forms. Service was great as the waitress checked on us frequently. Har gaw, siu Mai, beef rice rolls, shrimp rice rolls, sticky rice in lotus leaves, and something else I didn't remember. My friend loves the sweet soy sauce served in the rice roll dishes. I would never hesitate to ask for more tasty sauce when they rolled their rice roll carts over! ;) I didn't take the pictures of the food but a selfie, lol... just to remember how fulfilling I was! :DThey were all yummy and we always ordered more than enough... more to snack on later! ;)Late post 2022-01

Still our favorite Chinese restaurant in the greater Sacramento area. From anywhere in Ek Grove all the way to Shingle Springs to Calaveras county and even pass Davis. Service is still consistently good. You cannot really leave unsatisfied if you know what your are ordering. Dim Sum completes all your cravings. Best of all it is still reasonably priced.

On our most recent dinner out we ordered garlic pepper while crab, salt and pepper / sweet and sour pork , beef mushrooms green beans , and egg drop soup. Everything was served hot fresh and delicious!Service was kind , attentive, and prompt. Our hot tea never ran out , we had plenty of napkins, and clean plates. It's a big restaurant, and it can accommodate big parties . The are Covid aware and everything looked clean to me. If you're not sitting in the main dining area or by the kitchen, don't expect the ladies to come by your table often. I've been here twice & my last experience wasn't it. I was sat by the wall behind the pillar & the ladies rarely come by us. At most they came by 3 times & that wasn't even enough for me to order what I wanted. I would have to call over a server several times asking if some cart could come by. She would tell them but they don't make their way over. It resulted to the server having to grab the food items for me to bring to my table. When the ladies with the cart did make it to me they would not have what I wanted, even after I've asked a few times each round. I guess that's what happens for being seated where I was & them probably serving it to the other tables in the main area. It got to the point where I gave up & no longer wanted anything else.

We haven't had dim sum for months, so we decided to come here. The carts took a while to come around, but we eventually got everything we needed. We also ordered Singapore style rice noodles and a clay pot. The waitress warned us it would take a while to come out. We didn't mind since there was also dim sum. The rice noodles needed more curry flavor. The clay pot didn't come in a clay pot, and had a lot of tofu. I enjoyed the dim sum overall, but recommend ordering an additional dish or two as it's more filling.

Ming Dynasty is one of Sacramento's best restaurants, as the Michelin folks finally recognized.

The food is outstanding, the service is excellent and tasty dim sum is available all day. The regular menu is full of authentic Chinese cuisine and the seafood selections are swimming in tanks waiting for your order. One must usually travel to San Francisco to find this quality of Chinese food. You will enjoy the experience and want to return.

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
