Lily's and when I heard they had reopened post Covid shutdown my fam and I headed ther efforts brunch, we should have stayed away. Large party. Highlights, jerk corn stayed consistent. Real good. Ms. Lily's punch was just ok. Needed something else. Bellini thumbs up. Sangria nope stay away. Another highlight our server. She was funny, pleasant and a joy. Now onto the other stuff. Jamaican breakfast was supposed to have jamaocan greens. What I know as jamaican greens is either callaloo or spinach. What I got was some jumbo chopped collard greens that weren't fully cooked. This dish also came with Ackee and saltfish. Man the saltfish was whiter than white. No salt in the saltfish and also bland. No seasoning. Plantain on the dish was so so and the festival was dry. Mind you it said that there was to be a finger of banana but that didn't happen. Another let down was the jerk chicken roti. Not use to getting rice in a roti but Ms. Lily's has that. Seemed more like a burrito. This dish had so much rice in it and a little bit of chicken and it made holding the roti to eat difficult. Then there was the jerk chicken. No smokey flavor which is trade marked to all jerk chicken food. Then there was the breakfast roti. Smh. Again call it what it is a burrito. We also had the saltfish fritters. Now what was interesting was the pieces of saltfish acrually tasted like saltfish. What was most disappointing was that I brought an American because the food is usually good and they wanted to try jamaican food. Now sadly this was the 1st impression. I'm sorry Ms. Lily's you dropped off badly
