Wouldn't be my first brunch choice, but if you're looking to indulge...
It's... just OK. The service leaves a lot to be desired, even when it's not busy. (If you're going on a weekend, forget it.) I'm not a huge fan of the menu, which leans toward ostentatious at the sacrifice of flavors that actually work well together, instead of just sweet on sweet on sweet. But the concept is fun. It does a brisk business.

There are good things I liked. I liked the atmosphere. The food and drink choices unique. We ordered the return of the Mac, strawberry Nutella French toast, crispy chicken and gravy, and the shake up my love. They didn’t put enough gravy on the chicken and GRAVY so asked for more but they charged me. Then the bacon on the macaroni and cheese was raw. For this dish you really need to make sure that the bacon is cooked well! Tasted gross eating raw chewy bacon in my Mac and cheese! Should have sent it back! Especially because of the price we paid for the meal.

Do not remember how the eggs Benedict were called, but they are absolute winner! The milkshakes are also unreal! Strawberry banana was a piece of heaven!
Be the first to ReplyFantastic food and waitress!!! Large food portions
Delicious milkshakes, buffalo wings, and fruity pebbles pancakes!
Our waitress, I think Jade was her name was PHENOMENAL!!
Fantastic birthday celebrations. We were celebrating my and my friend's birthday, after placing our orders, she came right out and sang happy birthday, with 2 beautifully decorated milkshake and gave some awesome words of wisdom.
She's very detail oriented. Took down our large orders swiftly. Her customer service was awesome, would definitely return, the food portions were pretty large too. So bring your appetite!!
Delicious and Cozy
This cozy little diner in Astoria has a great quirky menu and the best breakfast faux-rito I've ever tasted--basically a rolled pancake stuffed with bacon and scrambled eggs. Service was friendly and reasonably timely. There's free parking available nearby but it's a dice roll on availability--we had to circle a few times to snag a spot at 1pm on a Monday.

Friendly service clean and tidy

Very pleasant
It's not easy going out one one's own as a single woman for dinner. I sat at the bar, the food was delish andI felt very comfortable.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Chicken!!!
We found this place just in time as we were all starving hungry. 5 adults in total all looking for quick and tasty food. I looked on TripAdvisor when walking around NY and came across this restaurant. It did not disappoint. The food came super quick and the waitress did tell us that the portions are BIG. She wasn’t kidding! Between the 5 of us, we had 3 dishes, each included chicken, one of which one was a chicken burger and fries (mine). I scoffed that in seconds, and then helped the others. It really was amazing food. Highly recommended.
Be the first to Reply'80's flair and comfort food extraordinaire
This place is all about the '80's! The menu is diverse enough to find a salad or two, but when you come here, you should be wanting something substantial like the chicken and waffles or a solid brunch serving. They have ample inside and outside seating space for most of the year. You better arrive early if you want weekend brunch, because the line is always out the door! I love the ambiance of this place and they really are kind to mom's. They've always welcomed me and my little with as many people as we bring. That said, you do sit very close to other tables, so beware if your kiddo(s) is(are) rambunctious. It may affect the comfort of this tiny restaurant. The food is stellar here! Great place to come with some friends and catch up. Not too loud, not too tiny.

A different spin on brunch. Eggs Benedict with brisket and bbq hollandaise, pancakes with children’s cereal, Chicken and Waffles. For your usual breakfast items such as eggs and toast you need to order individually as sides. There is also a selection of milkshakes and cocktails. The food was good and our server was friendly and attentive.
Be the first to ReplyEarly Brunch w/ the wife
Pancake Burrito was fluffy, moist and slight underdone which my wife thoroughly enjoyed (her words!?!). I had the Tex-Mex Benedict which was full of flavor and the jalapeño brought just enough spice for a leisurely brunch affair. Staff was attentive and friendly, found that wonderful balance between observant and mercurial. Pricing seemed fair when considering the large portion sizes. Would definitely return as my wife wants to try one or the milkshakes.
