Wow did not expect this place was a white coat and gloves type of restaurant...beautiful restaurant though the ceiling being mobile can be distracting at times. We were definitely underdressed in joggers and athletic wear walking around the Strip all day but they never treated us any differently than others who were dressed to the nines, which I thought was very professional and humbling. Service was impeccable here. There was always someone clearing our plates and attending our needs. Try the pineapple cocktail, tastes almost like a spiked Disney Dole Whop. Now onto the food!! We got the classic 2-course menu and boy, it was a lot of food! 4 appetizers that each of us picked out - Shanghai little dragon (soup dumplings), salt and pepper prawns, lobster vermicelli, and of course we had to get the famous Mr. Chow hand pulled noodles this place was named after. We didn't get to see them hand pull the noodles though. Food was delicious! My favorite was the lobster vermicelli-highly recommended! Beware that the prawns are breaded over the shell, some parts I could eat and others I had to pick out the shell. The Mr. Chow noodles were flavorful and reminded me of an Asian style spaghetti. Soup dumplings were yummy with good soup to filling ratio - I would have liked chili oil as a condiment instead of the vinegar based one we got. Main course we got the fire roasted beef, lamb with scallions, steamed sea bass, and Gamblers duck. This came with choice of steamed or fried rice and a vegetable (we got the string beans). Food was delicious and I was stuffed as soon as I tried one of every dish. Favorite was the steamed sea bass, it was tested very lightly to allow the flavor of the fish itself to shine through. Was almost Japanese like in the treatment and I appreciated that. The fire beef was crunchy on the outside (though it was covered in a flavorful sauce..have no idea how it stays that way ) and tender inside. Lamb was flavorful and tender, I was pleasantly surprised again that I liked it because I usually don't care for lamb. Duck had crispy skin and tender inside, it was served with a pancake and toppings of scallions and cucumbers do you can make a sort of Asian taco with it. It was delicious. We didn't even have room for dessert, we ate so much! I would definitely eat here again! Maybe try the Beijing duck where they carve it tableside...the knife skills on these guys!
