We dined there a week or so ago, on a chilly (LA COLD, 45 degree) evening; and totally enjoyed the experience. Our orders included one starter and 2 mains. And all items were tasty and wonderful. On our drive home in the Uber, we pulled up their menu on the web, and talked about what we will try on our next visit. The ambiance is warm and not too crowded. And the service was friendly and competent. We will come back again.
Be the first to ReplyLovely time at Mr T's! Sat at the bar with friends.
Shout out to Fay who made us the best drinks. Rapper's delight was a delight! Mocktails we're good. I had a calamansi drink. The food had a variety of dishes reflecting LA - Filipino, Korean, Chinese food, French, etc. We had the lumpia. It was soooo good! This is a good date place or just a night out with friends.

Excellent restaurant in Los Angeles In a cozy and subdued atmosphere, the original dishes can only take you on a journey. With my group we were lucky enough to have a menu which allowed us to taste different dishes, we had privatized the back room with its private terrace. If you're lucky, you can meet stars there.
Be the first to ReplyMenu is short and simple.
Portions are smaller. Overall food was good. Would recommend
Be the first to ReplyFun spot to go with a group of friends or a casual date.
Love the 90s and early 2000s hip hop! Easy street parking. More importantly, great food. We got the short rib (perfect), lemon pasta (creamy but not too rich), croquettes (yummy cheesy crunch) and mussels (cooked well though the broth was a tad bland - fries were amazing though, and warm chocolate dessert hit the spot). I would give them a solid 4.5 because the "T" in Mr T stands for TINY portions. Now before you accuse me of being a typical over-eating American who expects Cheesecake Factory portions, I'm telling you these are doll-sized portions given the prices. We started with a round of cocktails that were tasty but a tad too sweet and barely any booze. The Sancerre was nice but I wasn't blown away at the $100 bottle. A 4% health charge was added to the bill. I'd go back but would have an appetizer and drink beforehand.

5 star all around! Absolutely amazing service provided by Alan P. His knowledge of the dishes, the attention to the detail, and his professionalism added to the whole experience. And it truly is an experience to done here. Every single dish, from appetizer, to main, to dessert was absolutely spot on. The drinks were delicious. It's our new favorite restaurant. Highly recommend it.

My friend took me here for my birthday and she told me a fun story why they opened this restaurant in LA :-) The service was regular LA-casual which I have no complaints about it. The vibe here is low key- cool-modern. The restaurant is great for a date night for sure. It's definitely not a traditional French restaurant and the food is modern French (if there is such a category lol). And many dishes had international twists to them. We ordered bunch of dishes and everything was good but the Korean beef dish (it may not be on the menu anymore) was too salty and we were disappointed. I am sure we would've enjoyed it a lot if we could actually eat them :-( For our entertainment purpose, we also ordered Mr T Burger but maybe you can skip this since there are many restaurants including Petite Troi serve this type of burger in LA. The burger was good but it was just another premier burger which tastes the same everywhere. Overall, I enjoyed most of the dishes and cocktails.
Be the first to ReplyGreat birthday dinner here.
Delicious wagyu burger that was definitely the star of the show for me. Great ambiance and service was better than expected. Free parking on the street so that's a big plus.
Be the first to ReplyI love this place and can't wait to go back.
The server was amazing and very helpful with recommendations. The vibe was also great and the food....perfect. No complaints. Can't wait to come back.

Food was excellent, drinks tasted amazing! Good ambiance and music (hip hop) - will definitely come back! My favorite dish was the galbi with apple kimchi

T's yesterday for the first time and im so glad I came across this place! The food, ambience, and service, was top notch. The staff was super attentive. We started off with drinks and 2 appetizers. We got the Croquettes and the Chip n Dip. Moving on to entrees we got the Bucanti Pesto and the Mr. T Burger. Both were delicious and tasted so fresh. The quality of the food here was immaculate. Lastly, we decided to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding and nothing beats the one at Hells Kitchen but I do have to say, it was amazing. Flavors exploded in your mouth and the pudding was so moist. Cant wait to be back! Gives us a nice taste of France.

We came in with no reservation just to have a quick glass of wine at the bar... The owner nicely greeted us and introduce himself to offer a complimentary glass of champagne, so we ended up trying a few items from the menu and happy we did so!! Amazing place with good music and food... fun classy place I highly recommend if you're in the Hollywood area...

I arrived and had no problem finding street parking close by. I noticed that there were signs for Valet Parking. We were seated inside the dining room. The drink menu looked interesting but personally, I didn't see anything that looked interesting and decided to order a regular martini. Overall, the food was excellent! I went with two other people and for starters we ordered the chips and dip and the croquette monsieur. For our main courses, we shared the branzino, the cauliflower tika masala and the Mr. T. Mac and cheese which was caramelized with an industrial strength blow torch at the table. I would order any and all of these dishes again. The atmosphere was very nice but as the restaurant filled up the noise level increased to the point where it became difficult to converse with the people across the table. At one point my friend mentioned something about how loud it had gotten. Next time, I would sit on the patio.

Mr.T is definitely one of the best restaurant in town! The atmosphere is amazing, unbelievable taste of upscale food. I truly recommend this place whenever what people is looking for, trust me we are so much satisfied. Excellent vibes with hip hop old school music... Such an awesome experience !
Be the first to ReplyWith all the restaurants available in LA I have been back
With all the restaurants available in LA I have been back to this restaurant three times. Each time the experience is just as good as when I first went there and could not wait to tell my friends how fantastic the service and food was. Each time the menu was slightly changed for a little variety, there is not one thing that has not been delicious there. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyA rip off.
Expensive for nothing. There's nothing to eat. Wine is average. Go elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyGood spot.
This stretch of Sycamore is turning over and emerging as a cool neighborhood. Mr. T has a great vibe. Old school hip hop in the background. Food was good. Mac and Cheese and Burger were good. Nothing like a flambé. Will be back when in the area.

If you're looking for some seriously good eats, look no further than Mr. T! This West Hollywood gem is serving up some seriously delicious food with a side of street-style cool.Let's start with the stars of the show: the Mac n Cheese and Branzino. Simply amazing. Nothing was left behind. And even something as simple as chips and dip were elevated to gourmet status. The menu is full of unique choices and done with very high quality. Our group of 8 had no trouble sharing everything that came out family-style. And speaking of the staff, the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, professional, and kept things moving like a well-oiled machine. They knew exactly what they were doing, and it showed. The atmosphere is trendy and laid-back, with dim red lighting adding to the cool vibe. It's the perfect spot for a night out with friends or a date night with that special someone. And the dessert.... It was out of this world. Now, I will say that if you're planning on bringing a larger group (over 8), you'll want to plan ahead and contact the restaurant in advance. They want you to order ahead of time, which can be a bit complicated, but trust me - it's worth it. And if you run into any issues, just talk to the owner. They went above and beyond to make our experience great, even taking care of dessert for us.All in all, Mr. T is a hidden gem that I can't recommend enough. It's not your typical blockbuster restaurant, but that's part of what makes it so great. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. Definitely going back.

Amazing place !! I'm glad I found another cool spot to take a date on in Hollywood... great food and service..
Be the first to ReplyLovey patio, they really did a nice job.
I can see it being an LA classic. Attentive service. Great product ( fresh fresh fresh fish, juicy, well-salted game hen. and they really shine on the starters---can't understand why such a fresh, zesty citrus salad is not on more California menus. they fall down on mains: unyielding crust of breading weighing down a beautiful quality game hen and a fabulous piece of branzino served with dots of miso sauce and nary a splash of acid for relief. Branzino with a side of that citrus salad--that I could get behind.

This was such a great experience. We started with the spinach dip, which was surprisingly refreshing and light. So tasty and we both loved it. It wasn't like any other spinach dip we had before (they can be quite heavy). Atypical, we both ordered the branzino because it sounded and looked so delicious. The flavours were absolutely there and we had no regrets. We had a bottle of red, which accompanied the dishes well. The ambiance was great. Everybody around us was friendly and laid back. Music was great too and the restaurant was very clean. Service was friendly and fast, we even randomly had the manager check in with us, which was cool. We tried to go back on our last evening in LA, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed :)
Be the first to ReplyThis place was ok.
Small portions of food and not enough variety of food. The sinks were good and the ambience was nice. Good place to just hang at bar. The valet was way down the street away from restaurant which is not good for ladies by themselves.
