Was our go too sushi spot.
. we showed up at 6:34 on a Sunday night to order a few rolls of sushi to go and get a drink at the bar while we waited.. the hostess told us that they won't do takeout after 6:30 on the weekends and would not make an exception

Absolutely the best sushi in Austin. Uchi in Houston is better surprisingly Great atmosphere and service Just go you won’t be disappointed

It rivals Uchi but so much easier to get into. The service is great every time.

Just had dinner here for the first time and it’s by far my favorite sushi restaurant and possibly my favorite restaurant period ! While the food was amazing what set it apart was Julianna ! Her advice was outstanding and what a pleasant person so I highly recommend the restaurant and ask for Julianna!
This has become one of my favorite sushi spots in Austin.

We came here for dinner on a Thursday night and it was pretty packed, so be sure to make a reservation! The entrance is very discreet and you'll feel like you're walking into the back of a restaurant, which gives it a speakeasy vibe. The lighting inside is very dim besides the kitchen. The seating setup is kind of interesting, there's counter seating right in front of the sushi chefs but it's too low to watch them work. Behind the counter seating is bar seating that's higher up with barstools, and then there are booths along the wall as well. I liked sitting at the counter since it felt a little more private than the bar seating behind it. Our server was very friendly and happy to give recommendations. They were very attentive throughout the meal and made sure we always had water and drinks. The standout dishes we ordered were: - Grilled Edamame: Normally, edamame wouldn't be my first choice to order, but I actually thought this one was really good! They char the edamame in the shell so you get a bit of a smoky flavor when you eat it. - Steamed Egg Custard: I saw someone recommend this in their review and I was skeptical but had to try it. The custard is served in a bowl separate from the toppings, and you're supposed to mix it together before eating. This was actually my favorite dish of the night! It's super creamy and the seafood gives it a flavor almost like clam chowder. I highly recommend it! - Calamari Tempura: This calamari had a really nice, light batter and was perfectly crispy. The pieces weren't too chewy like some other calamari can be. Overall, I enjoyed the food here but I preferred the appetizers over the sushi itself. I would definitely return for the egg custard!

Tucked away on South Congress, this has become one of my favorite date night spots. Pro-tip: if you're ordering nigiri, ask to have it "dressed"! They'll add some simple ingredients like scallions or miso to boost the flavor of the fish. Yum!

The Good: :: it's a local business :: was easy to get in :: lots of options on the menu :: service was friendly :: lots of food options :: lots of drink options The Bad: :: extremely expensive for what you get. seems the focal point here is the vibe. super trendy and borderline obnoxious vibe. great food and a solid vibe aren't mutually exclusive. feels like folks who come here go to be seen. i just want to eat delicious food and have delicious drinks accompany it...call me old and/or old-fashioned :: service could be slow at times. i'm sure the staff was busy--please consider hiring more people! :: the food just did not blow me away. it was frankly forgettable. we ordered stuff across the menu, covering different categories. meh. i remember leaving the restaurant trying to think of the 1 thing that left me impressed. nada. The Ugly: :: was super crazy loud, yo. was so hard to hear my dining guests in our conversations. why are we trying to make this a sushi meets club scene?! Would I go back? Nope. With all the amazing places in town where I can get omakase, I see zero need to come back here for any reason. This place is OUT.

This place place looks great and is a nice dig in this side of town. (Not dogs). Neighborhood sushi was a pretty good experience. It's very touristy and trendy. I felt the service was very nice and friendly the wait time for food to arrive want that bad. I will say it was expensive for the value it's probably because this is on S. Congress servicing the tourists. We decided that we would come back for another experience because we liked the atmosphere and the food was very good here.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.

Yes unfortunately they are finding more and more ways to lock up sellers money. Sell thru rate, refund rate, limiting withdrawal amounts ler day and per month (which for me are the same number which makes no sense). Lot of sellers leaving as you can see from the lifetime sales not really increasing. Most posts on here are frustrated sellers which is not a recipe for success

Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
