Nobu Restaurant Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
Nobu is a great little place in the middle of Ceasar's.
They have great specialty drinks and amazing sushi. Service is typically great but I guess it was almost 10pm they were rushing guest to get last orders in. I was surprised that it closed so early in Vegas but I guess it was the middle of the week. We ordered wine, ceviche and 2 rolls. Felt very rushed but we will still return.
Nobu is an amazing sushi experience.
I think everyone should be able to visit Nobu because it's truly unique. The food is exquisite as expected. The service is top notch always. The restaurant itself is beautiful and seating is comfortable. Only issue is the hefty price but it's definitely worth it.
Go to any other Nobu.
Avoid this one at all costs. Manager is an insulting man who told me it isn't "sushi samba" I've eaten at nobu more than enough times to know I always work with the server to pick my menu. This one is set so if you sit down and ask to pay extra for things you like just forget it. There is a reason you can get same day reservations at this location. NEVER AGAIN. Love you Nobu, no for this one.

Everything we ate was amazing!!! And great service!! We let the chef selects our meals and everything was great. My favorite was that salmon carpaccio. It had this wonderful sweet mustard miso sauce. We were also able to try new seasonal drink which was black sesame martini!'
A terrible experience
We came in that restaurant with good expectations, having appreciated Nobu’s dishes many times in Dubai. A chaotic and noisy atmosphere greeted us. First of all the waiter did a lot of mistakes writing our order, serving fish dishes to some of us that ordered vegetarian versions. Secondly, the dishes came one by one and some of us were waiting 20-30 minutes before receiving it. When we underlined that problem with another waiter, he answered in an impolite , arrogant and rude manner. Third, food quality was very poor, with fried dishes served cold and sushi that was too dry. An experience to be forgotten, absolutely not at the level of such a famous restaurant.
I went here to celebrate my birthday and I'm sad to say I
I went here to celebrate my birthday and I'm sad to say I was embarrassed I brought my family here. I have been to the Dubai location and had an AMAZING time, so I thought there was no better place to spend my 26 birthday; I was sadly mistaken. From the moment our waiter, Arnold (the name on the receipt), came over it seemed to my guests and I that we were a bother and he would rather be anywhere else. We didn't get so much as a smile or anything from him. I think we saw him a total of four times: to get drink orders, to get food order, to get dessert, and to give us our check. My friend ordered some tea after dinner and we got the bill and finished dessert before she even got it. Even after the ridiculous wait for it, we barely got so much as a sorry (they did take it off the bill, but didn't tell us and only did it when running the credit card). I do have to give a shout out to all of the back of the house staff: the people who delivered the food and drinks, the people who cleared the tables, and the people who refilled water, were all amazing and on top of everything, they were the only reason we enjoyed the meal. I normally don't review places, but if I am spending around $500 for dinner for four people, I expect a level of service that Nobu, sadly, fell short of. If you were wanting a similar vibe and willing to spend the same, if not a little less, than Nobu I, personally, would go to Catch (I went there the night before and it was top notch). There are many better options for the same price.
Ambiance and service were great.
We did the omakase with a huge group for the holidays and celebrating 2 birthdays. Food was good, although nothing was mind blowing. The desserts were presented beautifully!
Immaculate service/presentation and $500 tabs don't cover
Immaculate service/presentation and $500 tabs don't cover up the fact that their seafood cuts are no better than your neighborhood sushi hub. Every dish was ridiculously salty, all the different fish tasted exactly the same and you gotta love the oil sludge soy sauce and fake wasabi. I was embarrassed at the amount of people thinking they were having a fine dining experience (it was a full house on a weekday). If you're not there for taste, it's the place for you.
Food wasn't good and neither was the service.
I had the shrimp nigiri and my husband had the shrimp nigiri and shrimp tempura. None of it was good. Don't waste your money.
Went to this restaurant and it wasn't a very enjoyable
Went to this restaurant and it wasn't a very enjoyable night. First of all our waiter was so unwelcoming, talked in a rude manner, unfriendly, cold and just didn't make us feel comfortable. He brings out my husband and I entrees and our friends didn't receive their food for a while. I asked when their food was coming and he said it's not up to him it's the chef who prepares it. Well then don't bring our food until the other couple have their food. The chefs should prepare the food so they are served at the same time--don't bring out at different times. This is very annoying. We aren't going to eat our food while they wait. We ordered 2 bowls of rice-- they were lukewarm--should be steamy hot--didn't come when he brought our entrees!!!! So we have our entrees with no rice and other couple waiting--how enjoyable can that be? I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came out and we told him how our first experience at a Nobu was. He said he would talk with waiter--can't believe it's that hard to find good help at a high end restaurant. Also can't believe they don't serve everyone's food all at the same time.
First time at Nobu.
It was a little pricey for the food but knowing it is in a casino on the strip, it makes sense. Total for two people came out to be about $550 with tax, excluding tip. Food: Lychee and Elderberry - good for those who like lychee and a light refreshing drink. 7.5/10 Mango Passion - wish it was a little spicier to offset the strong tart/sourness. 6.5/10 Yellowtail Jalapeño - soft salty sour yellowtail and the jalapeño gives it the perfect contrast of crunchy spice. 7/10 Oysters with Nobu Sauces - 3 different sauces. ADD THE LIME. The oyster w the Las Vegas sauce was one of the best oysters I've had. The others were good but were similar to ones I've had before. 8.5/10 Salmon Belly Karashi Sumiso - very soft with a slight crunch. Not sure what the crunch was but it complimented the salmon belly so much. Flavor was good but a little too much wasabi. 8.5/10 Japanese A5 Wagyu flambe - it was a min of 4oz. a little pricey but i think it was worth it. try it by itself, then with the sauce, bean sprouts, n pepper. sauce adds depth and the others adds a slight crunch 9/10 black cod w miso - soft. decadent. favor was on point. understandable why it is so famous. I just needed a crunch factor. which the next item gave me. 9.3/10 black cod butter lettuce - same as the above but totally different experience from the black cod w miso. put the whole thing in your mouth and its an explosion of flavor and texture 9.5/10 Vanilla Miso Tart - i don't like caramel. but the birthday boy loved it. he said it was not too sweet, had a lot of flavor, and not heavy. 9/10 Service: First time there and our server skillfully explained each menu to us. Recommended each of these to us, except the black cod butter lettuce. The food came out in a perfect order from tart to savory to sweet while increasing my satisfaction. She was amazing. I wish I got her name. Ambiance: I got a reservation for a birthday. We were on the outer edge to watch everything come and go. It was a little noisy but that just means people like it. The birthday dinner was a success with the man of the day surprised to see Happy birthday written on the dessert plate.
Food was superb.
I would order off the menu and not do per person pricing as wait staff will try sell, and have Nobu order for the table (don't so this) Will save you $100-150 PP. for the same food and more.
In the frenetic, neon-lit battleground of Las Vegas, where
In the frenetic, neon-lit battleground of Las Vegas, where every establishment vies for dominance, Nobu emerges as a samurai among the chaos. With a katana-sharp reputation for delivering fresh, exhilarating sushi, Nobu is not just a name; it's a legend. Stepping into Nobu is like entering a dojo where culinary warriors hone their craft. Each dish is a meticulously crafted weapon, wielded with precision and finesse. From the first strike of the chopsticks, it's evident that Nobu doesn't just serve food; it orchestrates an epic culinary symphony. Every roll, every nigiri, is a testament to the artistry of the sushi chefs. Each piece is presented with the reverence of a master presenting his finest katana. The textures dance on the palate like a choreographed battle, with flavors clashing and harmonizing in perfect equilibrium. But what sets Nobu apart is its audacity to push the boundaries of tradition. With unique pairings and unexpected textures, Nobu isn't content to merely follow the samurai code; it seeks to rewrite it. Here, the rules of sushi are fluid, and innovation reigns supreme. In the end, dining at Nobu is not just a meal; it's an experience. It's a journey through the culinary landscape of Japan, guided by a fearless sensei who dares to defy convention. So, when you enter Nobu, be prepared to embark on a gastronomic odyssey unlike any other--a journey where tradition meets rebellion, and every bite is a revelation.
Five stars out of five stars.
Nobu is an amazing fish spot. However, it's damn fucking expensive. And if you're not ready to drop a ton of cash. This is not the place for you. Let me just start off by saying this. You gotta be ready for an experience. And if you really like fish, this is the experience you want to have. There is cheaper fish places but you won't get the same quality or experience in Vegas. This is high quality food.
Horrific service from the manager & waitress. Stuck up and defensive…. Not a good vibe. Hard pass!
Terrible service. We weren’t getting service and I had to ask three different people to place our order and no one came. We waited 30 minutes and when our waitress finally came she had such a bad attitude. A simple apology would have done, and we would have been happy. But she had a bad excuse which an experienced server would never say. We asked to speak to Brett the manager who was just as bad. He too didn’t want to listen to us and had a terrible, stuck up attitude. Why is apologizing for bad service and moving on so hard for some people? Bring defensive is such a bad way to be in the service field. They both had terrible conversational skills and don’t know how to address customers. Time for both of them to find a new job.
Poor service = poor tip
I’m going to start with the fact that we are frequent guests at Nobu restaurants in general and this one specifically. We love coming here. The service is great…friendly, knowledgeable. The food is fantastic. The beverages great. The ambiance what I expect from a Nobu restaurant. Until last evening… The evening was tainted by a server who quite obviously wanted to be anywhere but there. He was condescending and rude from the beginning. Simple questions were met by a smirk. I’ve never been to Nobu where there wasn’t a few items offered that were off-menu or specials. When asked, he pointed to the menu and said it’s all there. He mumbled when he spoke and had to be asked to repeat himself constantly. It wasn’t loud in the restaurant. He just didn’t want to make the effort. Having said all that…the reminder of staff interactions were the usual Nobu standard. I’ll definitely come back, but will request to be seated at another table if he’s working.
Decadent Zen Journey of the Palette
Decadent Zen. My wife and I are semi-professional 'foodies' who love to be surprised by Staff and Chefs who can assess and cater to our palettes. Our server, Jay L., was very attentive, but not intrusive, asked questions and listened to our queries. We briefly discussed what we wanted to experience, and then left it in Jay's hands to engineer a 7 course display of Nobu tradition and excellence. EVERY course of our journey was excellent. 10/10 in presentation, freshness, new tastes, and progression of our dinner. Jay queried along the way to make sure the course selections were going well, and teasing what was to come. 10/10 in atmosphere and comfort. Our first Nobu experience...and definitely not our last! Recommend: Miso Black Cod, YellowTail, Wagyu Tacos, SeaBass tempura, Scallop Toban, Sea Urchin, Miso Tart. Paired with "Far Yeast; Tokyo White" light crisp beer.
Awful experience
Very disappointing dinner staring poorly with a table for 10 for a party of 15. The service has been terrible and we had to to it ourselves with portions which were not clearly divided and a presentation buffet style. The degustation set menu was very regular. Overall the worst quality / price restaurant I have experienced in my whole life. Run away and choose the other high profile Japanese restaurants in Vegas to understand why you are paying so much money.
Good but too pricey
We enjoyed our meal, food was good and service polite and professional. The prices exceeded the culinary pleasure though.
Food Was Fantastic - Service Was Efficient But Not Friendly
I would give the food here 5+ stars. It's the service that knocked it down a star. We had 8:30 pm reservations on a Thursday evening. We were seated right away. Our server, however, just seemed to be going through the motions, talking so fast, and not being personal at all. It all felt very rushed, which seemed to be the theme at every restaurant in Las Vegas. We eat a lot of sashimi and tartare, and we have to say this was the best yellowtail and tuna we have ever had...anywhere. There's something about that delicate sauce surrounding the fish that is the best. We also had the Miso Black Cod which is the chef's specialty. It was a generous serving and very flavorful. My wife thought it was a little too sweet, but I thought it impeccable. The shrimp and vegetable tempura was pretty typical, and way overpriced at $40. We would not order that again. We finished the meal with a miso tart that was fantastic. For the reputation this place has, we expected to have our socks knocked off, and because of the service, we didn't.
Better NOBU’s in the world than Vegas
Def not the service or standards you’d expect of Nobu. And with an additional minimum 18% service I’d be expecting service beyond another level. Not lights coming on at 10.50 as they want to close, and clearing your table as they want to go home. Food was disappointing and no way near the standard of Dubai and London. Atmosphere was good though
Best sushi ever
We took a spot at the sushi bar and the food and experience were exceptional. We are no strangers to good sushi bars but this has to be the best we have ever experienced. I simply can't say enough about how good the food was, the only proviso is that you will spend plenty of money - its superb but understandably not cheap :-)

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.
