Definitely a must stop place to eat for dinner.
We sat at the bar and it's was the best decision we could have made, we were seated immediately and the bartender was oh so very helpful recommending items based on what we were in the mood for.
😒
Tasty yet very overpriced.
I have always been curious about Nobu because I see celebrities frequent it. I'm pretty sure I've heard it referenced in rap songs too! It must be good right?! It's decent for sure, but I've had better sushi and more variety for a similar price point. Their menu seems to cater more to the masses that have more disposable income. I compare this place to Coachella. I feel like the Coachella music festival is not really about the music, but more about being there. Similarly, Nobu is not really about the food but for people to say that they're at Nobu. Everything I had was good albeit, overpriced. The presentation was beautiful and the seafood was fresh. For such a well-known name, I thought Nobu would be a bit more interesting with their offerings. Everything was good yet basic. However, I felt like the service was subpar and a bit gimmicky. All the sushi chefs are Asian and seem to know what they're doing. Though, the waitstaff seemed like pretentious people. My server in particular barely filled my water glass and I felt like he was not prioritizing my needs, maybe because I didn't look like I belonged at Nobu? There are better sushi places for sure in Las Vegas. The only reason why someone should go here is to flex on their Instagram that they're eating there. Next, please!

I've dined at Nobu before but this was my first time at this location at the Caesar's Palace. My friends and I left the best reservation for last day as we had very high expectations for this establishment from the soaring reviews online and word of mouth. We were very surprised by the flexibility of the menu, especially for myself being vegan. The waiter explained that anything could be made vegan so he suggested the vegan avocado ceviche with crispy rice. It had a very nice sour and tangy taste to my liking. In addition to my vegan picks, I had the vegan tacos and hand roll; both very light and great for a small meal. On the other hand, my friends' experience was very different from mine. The steak was cooked too well when our request was for medium rare so the beef was tough to chew; hence we sent it back to the kitchen. The cod was not met to their expectations. Everything else was fully enjoyed by my friends. I'd love to return again but probably revisit the location in LA next time.

Nobu is a masterclass in an unjustifiable price tag mixed
Nobu is a masterclass in an unjustifiable price tag mixed with uninspired food for a gullible crowd. After multiple Nobu experiences in both New York and Vegas, I still am left unsure as to how this establishment continues to rest on laurels established ~20 years ago, at which point their concept was fresh and better executed I'm sure. I've had sushi in Japan and on both coasts of the United States (both omakase and Ala carte), and Nobu both times has ranked in the bottom for any kind of residual value. Our server (the only saving grace from a 1 star experience) worked with us in terms of a price point per head and coursing a meal. He explained the courses as they were presented and was attentive to our party's needs. Our sake was plentiful, overpriced, and standard. Jalapeño and garlic slices on sashimi of good quality is no longer innovative. Fried lobster was difficult to mess up and was admittedly great with a trio of dipping sauces, but the nigiri / maki selections were on par with sushi I have received elsewhere (and flown in from Japan) at a small fraction of the cost. Filet mignon was fine if but a tad salty (as was everything else). Quantity was sad as they felt obligated to bring us more after we asked "where's the rest of it" upon receiving our plated sushi. The restaurant was comfortable, well-appointed, and held at a noise level allowing for conversation, but these are merely table stakes at an establishment such as this.Bottom line: You pay solely for a name at Nobu, as if I opened the same exact restaurant with the same decor and concept under any other name, there is no possible way it would stay in business. A total and complete rip.1.6/5 for the Maserati of Sushi - a Chrysler with fancy badging. There is no possible way that I'd willingly return to Nobu unless for business reasons or at the insistence of somebody I love dearly.
🤮
Unbelievably bad experience
I had dinner at Nobu with three business colleagues, all in suits/jackets. The food and service was fabulous but the problem came when we got the bill. My colleague who booked the reservation via Caesars Palace, giving room number and cc number, as part of the reservation process when to sign the bill to his room. The restaurant asked for additional id but he did not have any and as well, made the point that nowhere in the reservation process does it indicate additional id needed. My colleague also suggested that the manager could check with the hotel to verify everything. We had this discussion with the waitress and the manager, John Peiser, and we again suggested he check with the hotel while we waited. After ten minutes, thinking all resolved, we got up to leave, passing Mr. Peiser on the way out (he did not say a word). We split up to go to our rooms and I wandered into the casino. I stopped for a moment and was immediately surrounded by five security guards claiming that I/we skipped out on the bill. I had no other idea but waited with the guards while they verified my room/id with the hotel. They then all went to the room of my colleague, required he produce id (while he is standing in the door of his room). Long story short, this was badly handled by the restaurant, the manager and hotel security so we don't need to go back.

It was my first time at Nobu so prior to my reservations, I spent some time looking at the menu to see what looked appealing. I was with a group of friends so we got a few things; wagyu tacos, crispy rice and tune, nigiris and hand rolls. The wagyu tacos were $20 each and you have to get a minimum of two pieces. These tacos were literally the size of a 50 cent coin, if that. Not sure if the wagyu meat was supposed to be cold but when I got it, it was. Wagyu is supposed to be cooked medium rare but when I bit into it, it was fully cooked. Tacos were okay. Not sure I'd get them again.Eating the crispy rice and tuna was my favorite. My friends told me the rice was too thick for the cut but honestly I enjoyed it, maybe because the rice was crispy. My friend got the lobster roll and he said the roll had way too much rice, he's never even gotten a roll like that at other restaurants where sushi is cheaper. The service is good but I'm not sure about the food. It's way too expensive for something so simple.
😍
There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place.
The ambiance is beautiful, the music is great, the customer service is impeccable and the food is to die for.
Yellowtail and Salmon Belly were my favorites but the Wagyu (came out on stones they set ablaze to cook), Lobster Tempura, and Miso Cod were also great.

Excellent experience, came in with a group of seven for a birthday, luckily I convinced everyone to do the omakase menu, which was the way to go, the server Chris took it from there and created a wonderful experience for us all. My wife and I enjoyed everything we will definitely be back, great service and atmosphere.

I loved everything about Nobu!!! Fresh sushi, first class Japanese Wagu steaks. Loved the drinks, not watered down n great flavors. Will be back!!
🙂
My least favorite Nobu location.
Food quality is consistent with other Nobu locations but atmosphere was lacking and customer service was just ok.
😍

Obsessed! The food here is high quality and you know they're famous for their sushi of course but I wasn't expecting the dessert menu to be so good also shout out to our server Victoria she made our experience here memorable.
😍
This restaurant did not disappoint.
My husband started with a spicy tuna hand roll and I got a vegetable hand roll. Both were delicious and presented beautifully. We shared an onion soup that included a variety of mushrooms. Very tasty. My husband had the black cod and I the king salmon. We shared and enjoyed both. The sauces for each were delicious. I'm glad we ordered some rice to eat with the extra sauce.

Great cocktails, low quality sushi
Atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly. Menu was rich and we did pick a variety of food to try. We read that sushi is recommended but we’re bit unhappy with the quality of food. Cocktails were just great!
😍
Former sushi virgin here.
.Figured I'd go check nobu about after all the rave reviews. Made reservations for 3.. easy peasy. Short wait when we arrived.. totally worth the wait as the service and food were stellar. As 1 of the only asians who doesnt eat seafood, let alone sushi, I was impressed. The biggest downer w seafood for me is it tastes/smells like the ocean. My sushi friends all say if it's good sushi, u won't smell nor taste the ocean. FACTS!We opted for the sampler.. the Chilean sea bass was amazing. Salmon, octopus.. pretty much what I expected. The only downer was the halibut.. the ocean was strong in that one.I'd def go back and go for round 2!
😍
Treat yourself- splurge!
I can’t give it any higher of a rating. We did the Chef’s menu and were blown away. Each course built upon layers of flavor. Outstanding- what a way to celebrate our wedding anniversary with friends. We could barely move at the end. Loved it.
😍
Almost perfection, that's how I'll describe the food.
Of course thee is the awe of the great chef but the food like this will be great anywhere. The service was amazing as well as our server kept on recommending good things and we kept on ordering. From their version of old fashioned (Kikori), spicy açaí martini, cucumber martini, mango and passion martini, sidecar, drinks were exceptional. Ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees, a dessert, nothing I can complain about. Definitely a culinary and gustatory experience.
😍
The best sushi I ever had in my life.

Extremely fresh, very lightly dressed and 5 star service. The Virgin Hotel location is amazing!! Highly recommended!!

Bring your wallet for the omakase tasting - outstanding
Tasting menus leave the ingredients and sauces to the sushi chef, of which there were 7. Ours nailed it! Show up at 5 pm, place your name on the waiting list, and voila! You're in at the sushi bar.
We had 8 courses that incorporated seafood, truffles, foie gras and a delectable filet mignon. Totally pushed our bellies out the door but hugely satisfied and delighted.
Reservation needed for this trendy, spendy, posh, nosh place. We were at a table of nine at 7:30pm on a Friday. Our group ordered one of everything it seemed and chose to do a sharing type of meal. Portions are quality over quantity . Two bottles of sake and six desserts later the bill was astronomical yet everyone left discussing their favorites .
Table of nine at 7:30 on a Friday required a host to land the reservation. It took a team of well trained staff to serve and explain each dish. Our group ordered a variety of plates and shared them. Some were reordered because they were so well liked. Dishes are quality over quantity as far as portion size. Two bottles of sake 20+ plates six desserts later the bill was astronomical! This is a trendy, posh, good nosh, dimly light , expensive night out option .
It was a lovely restaurant and the food tasted good but it was a very expensive me for what it was. Over $400 for the two of us and we didn't eat or drink excessivly at all.
My family went for a business trip and stayed at CEASARS palace for the 1st time for 1 night. I will never stay there again. Had to go to 3 different valets to park, they had no bell services I had to carry 10 suitcases across the whole casino and its a BIG ONE. Had the worst check in experience. Put me in a room that still has garbage in the trash can, the bathtub would not drain. I drove from 4am from sac, ca to vegas and arrived at 2pm. All I wanted to do was take a bath n relax before my business meeting the next day, took the manager a hour to switch my room only for that tub not to fill up. It had no stopper. Took the manager another hours to get maintenance there to fix. Every employee I talked to was rude and had attitudes.
Im not a high roller but i am a paying customer and deserve to bed treated with respect!!! I was not treated with respect ur valves as a paying customer
Nobu has great sushi. I like it much better than the Malibu restaurant as it doesn't have the attitude.

Bad attitude from waiter
For our last day in Las Vegas we had a family dinner at Nobu on January 7th at 5:30 pm, and reserved weeks in advance. It was a big dissapointment because of the service we received. The table was ok, but the waiter was rude from the very beggining. He never tried to recommend or explain the menu, my wife asked for a beer and he would hardly mention the brands available, very rude. We ordered the food (plenty of it), and as always it was very good, I asked for more ponzu for the table, and the waiter brought only for one person, arguing it had a cost, which I had to explain to him didnt matter. To bad an excelente restaurant like Nobu tolerates bad and pretentious people like this waiter. I am not returning again.
Terrible! We came to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday on December 24th. When we made reservations we specifically told them we are celebrating a birthday. We came with two other couples and kids total of 10 people. Also, when we arrived, I stepped away and told the hostess that we are celebrating my husbands 40th and if she could pass it on to the waiter. To which she said, absolutely, but they do not give out free desert. I replied of course no problem, we are not looking for free desert, I just wanted to make sure we got a candle with desert. She again said, she will pass it on.
Once seated, we were immediately being rushed by our waiter Michael W., that their kitchen closes at 10. Our reservations were at 845. Not the most pleasant experience when you are paying a lot of money. As we are almost done eating, we are waiting for the waiter to take our desert order and it was taking a long time for him to come back so I got up and found the waiter and told him we would like to order dessert to which he replied our kitchen is already closed. I was in absolute shock given the fact that I told multiple people that we are celebrating a birthday. He did not apologize, truthfully it didn’t even feel that he cared. The waiter replied that he told one of the couples at our table it was last call, but for some reason he never told anyone else at the table or asked if anyone wanted dessert. Normally I wouldn’t care but it was a special birthday and it was discussed with the restaurant multiple times.
I asked to speak with the manager. The manager just replied sorry there is nothing we can do, our kitchen is closed. Again, it felt as if they did not care at all. We even asked if they could bring a small bowl of ice with a candle to which they said no. Few minutes later, we saw another waiter bringing ice cream to another table. You are telling me a restaurant like this had no dessert they could of brought out just to be nice? Again, we were not asking for free stuff. We spoke with another manage, Keenan who was also rude but in a passive aggressive way. His comment to our table was “I trust my staff and will side with my staff”. Honestly, I don’t understand what that even means. The waiter admitted that he never asked if we wanted dessert. We felt that comment was very unprofessional and unnecessary. Food was good, but Very disappointing experience! Staff needs more training how to be more polite and kind to their customers who pay a lot of money to eat there.
