Perfection in heart of London! Look no more !
The hotel is simply superb! Minimalistic but yet luxurious and no details were overlooked. Location is phenomenal, staff beyond friendly and professional and cleanliness is beyond imaginable. Hotel is truly a gem and I would highly recommend it to anyone that goes to London. The place to be!
Be the first to Replygood for business and congress
well located hotel with a congress centre. I was there for a congress, it was well organized and the congress room was well equipped. My room was large and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices are high
Be the first to ReplyNice, good value, excellent quality, Japanese simplistic in convenient location
Nice, good value, excellent quality, Japanese simplistic, all you need in a convenient location. Amazing what was achieved from this property - hats off. Room service from Nobu is also a worthwhile experience.
Be the first to ReplyBooked with Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts and it was great
I really liked this hotel. Good location and spotless property. The room was well appointed, bed very comfortable. The people made this property really special. The staff was so kind and helpful. I had dinner solo in the Nobu lounge and the staff took time to talk to me in great detail about the menu and the the unique drinks and gin they stocked. I booked with Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts and the perks were the best I've had. I hope to return.

Brilliant food with exceptional service. Juliano, our waiter, was especially helpful and friendly when describing the dishes. Overall, we were provided with an amazing evening and will definitely look to come again.
Be the first to ReplyA very disappointing experience
The hotel itself is clean and tidy, as you'd expect for a Nobu. The rooms are decent for a central London hotel, if a little on the cosy side. The level of service and attentiveness of the staff was poor though and something we haven't come to expect from a Nobu hotel, for a number of reasons: - On arriving and checking in, we weren't advised that there'd be an event with extra security on that evening and we found that out when we returned to the hotel after dinner to be greeted by a very unfriendly and angry security guard who was refusing us entry to the hotel. We eventually managed to get inside but were then escorted to the bar area by another security guard who watched us the whole time we were sat enjoying a bottle of champagne, making us feel very uncomfortable. - We had drinks in the bar during the afternoon, which was also a let down, service was slow, drinks arrived separately and we'd asked for a bottle of still water. The glasses arrived at least 5 minutes before the bottle of water did. - Breakfast was awful, we were sat down without any explanation of the process of ordering items or what the situation was for the buffet. I was poured a cup of mildly warm coffee without being offered milk or sugar. After being ignored for 15 minutes we went to approach a member of staff to ask if we could order some food. The food arrived but was average at best. The receptionist at checkout also got the bill wrong as it didn't include a credit that you get for booking through American Express Platinum and so we had to get that corrected. We've had a couple of emails from the hotel manager about this experience, but nothing makes us feel confident that they will take appropriate action to improve the level of service enough for us to want to return. So generally poor service, inattentive and disappointing. We wouldn't recommend until they sort out the service levels.
Be the first to ReplyStay away from the minibar
The room was great but Nobu gave me a really bad experience. They had their minibar and snacks on the shelves and the fridge but they hide the menu of the minibar that included the price tag in the cabinet under the crisps bag. I mean for a suite at this price, this is far beyond acceptable. And they even say in the website that the minibar is included. Cheap wine for 30 pounds, beware.

Didn't expected it to be so relaxing experience! Will sure visit frequently from now on. Didn't have to try resturant but that's for next visit. We had drinks, tea and some starters, very filling and generous portion sizes.
Be the first to ReplyThe worst hotel stay away.
The hotel first does not cater to families they have no kids menu. The service is beyond horrible. They lie in your face. I wanted to upgrade to a suite I have currently two rooms and they refused and lied to my employee that the suite does not accommodate two kids while I was taken and shown the suite and was told it was available. At the No u hotel the service was terrible too and they spilled the soup on me. The whole service is terrible !!! It’s less than one star hotel stay away at all costs. Everything is just terrible and the staff are not even professional. MR Nobu this hotel and staff does not reflect your insight and vision. You should learn how to cater to international clients and standards. Your charge 5 star prices and give 1 star service. Everything is wrong with this hotel. You call guest services they don’t even bother to cater to your request. Further they don’t even have an option to choose continental breakfast you have to choose each item on its own. I am staying a week and I have two rooms at the hotel it’s just terrible I don’t want to ever come back again. The worst of all hotels.

Darius and Aziz were great from day one until left hotel. The whole staff and resturant were great. The room was a good size and comfortable. Will be staying again there soon. Thank you to all staff there.
Be the first to ReplySleek modern hotel in a great location and with Nobu restaurant too!
Modern, clean, quiet and very comfortable bedrooms with spotless bathrooms and bespoke amenities. I loved the body lotion! Friendly hotel staff and great experience at Nobu restaurant. Nice lounge and bar areas too. We'll be back!
Be the first to ReplyDidn’t feel like 5 stars Hotel
We have stayed in the hotel for 15 nights, the location is good, staff is friendly, hotel is quiet and the room was comfortable, but it has no value for the money its very expensive and we didn’t feel like we have stayed in a 5 star hotel for many reasons: 1- Elevators stops working every day and we used staff elevator instead to get either up to the 10 floor or down to the lobby. 2- Made us evacuate the hotel because of power outage no water or electricity were working I went down from 10th floor to lobby using stairs carrying my son so they booked us another hotel and had to pack our stuff. 3- Every one was ordering food online since the dine in room service menu was very poor and limited only offered japanese food and they dont even have a kids meal. 4- Although we have stayed for 15 nights breakfast was not included during our stay. In conclusion, we got the vibe that the hotel was new and not ready to welcome guests. Next time we will book in Hayatt Regency Churchill Hotel located infront of Nobu Hotel and has the same price range but offers a better 5 star service.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing service and gorgeous hotel and relaxing rooms
Super zen and relaxing after a long flight. Amy at the front desk provided amazing service. The room is minimalist and Japanese, just the way we love it. Lobby and breakfast area are beautiful. Highly recommend!

Thought we’d try i and I with we hadn’t !!!!!! Exceptionally rude staff !!! Except Grace on reception who was amazing !!!! Rooms are so small they are uncomfortable!!! Breakfast was disgusting and cold and if you want a chicken sausage it’s £5 !!! Even though we paid for breakfast to be included !!! You are paying for the name here !!! I wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me
Be the first to ReplyExceptional service
Dariusz from concierge was immensely helpful and pleasant from the moment we arrived and ensured our room was up to our expectations. Peter from guest services was always on hand for advice on local facilities. Idris was superb and arranged a special table for us at a moments notice and always enquired on our stay and if there was anything he could assist with. Abdul Aziz was a natural and very helpful. Larissa was exceptionally pleasant and fantastic with our two young children particularly my 3 year old daughter. I’ve chosen to name these people as I’m a strong believer that it’s the team (and their efforts that often go unnoticed) that drive the success of the business. A fabulous experience , made special by these great people. Thank you !
Be the first to ReplyThe worst stay ever
I have stayed at the Nobu Shoreditch a few years back and the level of service was so good that I thought I’ll repeat by staying at the hotel but in Portman… I have been here since the 7th of July and the service from day 1 is disappointing..from keys not working for several days to messed up bookings to now a power shortage of over an hour, God only knows when it started but I have been in the lobby for an hour now. I am not sure how an organization such as this works without power generators or backups specially that there’s a restaurant tagged to the hotel! For an hour now, the one thing they have done other than just talking to themselves and laughing out loud while we are sitting irritated at what is going on is just ask the guests if they want water…I don’t think this level of service is what we expect from I once believed a respected brand now all I am left with is the worst experience anyone could have in a 5 star supposedly hotel. Rest assured that this will be expressed massively to all my contacts to ensure no one from my side ever stays in the hotel ever again.
Be the first to ReplyHorrible stay
Worst hotel service in Portman ever!!!!! Forget about the bad service but to have power cut for more than an hour and people are just sitting in the lobby while the hotel staff are chatting and laughing and enjoying the mess is something completely not acceptable!!!!! No one even bothered to offer food or drinks!!! All what they could do is ask if anyone wants water!!! Horrible experience and last time here. Will make sure I spread this all over the place
Be the first to ReplyBar experience
I’m a regular as work locally and would presume nobu does good cocktails. However, I have never seen such service. I’m not sure who half the bar staff think they are, but I would never speak out of turn - asking clients who come in to ensure they have “checked in” for a drink. I didn’t want to be rude, but a little lesson - if I am the customer, you walk over to me, be kind and courteous and say, “welcome to Nobu, may I take your name please?”. Instead you get a diva telling you how you should be operating in order to even sit down to then order a drink. Is the world going mad? If I am paying 16 per drink, I expect the service which comes with such a price. On top of this, the cocktails aren’t that good. I know a good cocktail and would say that if they are at this standard, the service should perhaps make up for it which it doesn’t. Hopefully some training can be put in place as otherwise it’s like premier inn but with bad service. Happy to receive an apology/explanation of why the service is the way it is, but probably wouldn’t use it as my local again.
Be the first to ReplyLocation and service
We stayed for 3 nights and upon checking in were advised of a upgrade. The room was perfect and although small, not boxy as one is often accustomed to in London. There was plenty of storage space and also enough for a desk chair and two luggage racks as we preferred to live out the proverbial suitcase. The downstairs bar and eating area always had a gentle buzz and on the occasion we used it were well served. The location is also ideal bieng 2 blocks from the hectic Oxford street and a short walk to the restaurant area of St Christopher’s and Duke St. well worth a stay.
Be the first to Reply5 class service for a 5 star hotel
5 star service in a 5 star hotel! My family and I stayed at the Nobu hotel in Portman Square for 5 nights. Everyone from the doormen to the Front desk staff went over and above to make us have a fantastic trip. Nothing was too much for them. For example, I was panicked about getting a COVID test to go to another European country and within 5 minutes the front desk staff organized one for me! Amazing service!
We stayed in a Saki suite which was very roomy and had a beautiful bathroom and was immaculately clean. The bedroom had a huge (I think they called them empire) bed which was very comfortable. Room service was quick and we even were able to order Nobu black cod after our show at midnight!
The location was perfect, within walking distance to most everything.
I did a ton of research as to where we wanted to stay in London and could not be happier with our selection. I will 100% be returning. Thank you Nobu Portman Square, especially to the wonderful staff!!
Dreadful
Dreadful hotel and experience.
Check in was painful and bizarre .
The room seemed to be a version of a down market cruise ship cabin .
Breakfast service was slow and when it arrived seemed to be microwaved.
We won’t be returning, particularly bearing in mind that for the same £ there are numerous better places located in the area .
Location and service great
Very well located for Oxford Street, the Nobu Hotel greeted us as we celebrated a birthday, with a complimentary bottle of champagne and cake, amazing! Lovely bar, great service and chilled vibe. The rooms are decent size, although you have to ask for simple items such as ironing board. Massive king size bed, and 9the floor room had a decent view. Recommended!
Be the first to ReplyExcellent stay at Nobu Hotel in Portman Square
We have had an amazing experience. We booked a suite for two nights and it was up to expectation. The restaurant it was as always the best. The team of the hotel were very professional and friendly especially the manager Francisco.
Very pleased with our stay and we will definitely be back soon.
Beautiful hotel , excellent customer service
Five star customer service and hospitality service. Prompt, attentive and kind staff. Rooms are clean and have a minimalist design. Concierge service was excellent. Highly recommend to any type of customer who wishes to spend time at the hotel.
Be the first to ReplyLounge bar
I spent the evening here with my husband,
we were in the Lounge bar. Intimate atmosphere, music, Japanese style ambiance.
The menu offers a selection of small appetizers and great drinks.
We ordered a few small dishes, burger for me and a Salmon poke'. Good quality of food and nice presentato.
Our waitress was good but unprepared for our questions.
Thanks to the Sicilian bartender at the bar, she delighted us with excellent cocktails. We had a chat with her and she tolk about her job always with passion.
We will definitely be back! Thank you Nobu!!!!
