Amazing service
Amazing food , drinks and service from our waiter oscar who made our experience special. Will definitely be coming back.
Be the first to ReplyWagyu beef nigiri and several maki cuts
Excellent quality price ratio at Nobu London Old Park Lane. We went on a Tuesday Night for dinner. We did not try this time the renowned black cod with miso but we still had wagyu beef nigiri and several maki cuts which were not overpriced imho considered exceptional quality and taste. We got 1 Japanese Wagyu Beef Sashimi (1 pcs, 11.5£), 2 Shrimp Tempura Maki Cuts (15.5£ each), Salmon Maki Cut (11.5£), California Maki Cut (17£), Shrimp Tempura (2 pcs, 14£), Sesame Chilli Edamame (9£), 3 Lychee Martini (18£ each) and a Diet Coke (4£). We expected it would have been slightly less upscale and glam in comparison with the old Berkeley Street, the Nobu Shoreditch and Nobu Portman Square and it indeed it looked so. Targeting mostly professionals. Nobu is always a synonym of Amazing Dinner guaranteed to impress your guests.

Service and ambiance excellent. We were fortunate to have a lovely corner table. We were not rushed and were able to relax and savour the amazing sushi and nigiri. I would recommend the o toro nigiri.
Be the first to ReplyFood remains the star
Many years since I’d last been to this Nobu. It is showing its age and could do with a “spruce up”. However, the food is still fabulous. I had the classic Bento box for lunch - really tremendous - loved it. We were a large table and most had the same. The desserts looks incredible and those who had them raved about them. Service was excellent - couldn’t fault it at all. I thought there was a nice atmosphere too.
Be the first to ReplyStill great!
I used to come here a lot but haven’t been for 3-4 years and I was delighted to find it was as good as ever. Nice ambiance, great service and superb food. Obviously it’s not cheap but it’s great quality and still a classic.

We made a reservation a couple of days in advance, so we got a table, but the place is really crowded. The restaurant is cutting-edge and innovative, serving exquisite cuisine for high rates while keeping everything on par.
Be the first to ReplyFood good, drinks mediocre, service below average, ambience poor
We did the omakase. The food was largely delicious, highlights being the sashimi salad, black cod and matcha ice cream. The tobanyaki was disappointing, with the beef quite overcooked on the edges. The cocktails were okay but overpriced. Where things fell down were the decor and ambience, which was frankly awful - someone likened the decor to a university canteen and they weren’t wrong. What was most disappointing was the service. It wouldn’t have been out of place at a high street chain restaurant. Loads of staff but all standing around in silence and avoiding eye contact. All seemed to be in a hurry to leave whenever they brought stuff to the table - we had to try three times before we could corner someone for water. I felt like a nuisance. Not what is expected at the prices charged - plus a 15% service charge at the end!

Although Nobu is a well known brand, this location is only mediocre. The sushi was just okay. This seemed to be catered to a crown of business travelers rather than tourists on vacation.
Be the first to Replyvery delicious food, unforgivably appalling acoustics
Went to Nobu on a Wednesday night at 8pm as a treat with old friends from abroad we rarely see (we were 2 couples). I asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail to start and asked the barman to choose it and whatever they brought me was delightful! We shared lots of wine and a large number of dishes including sashimi, sushi, avocado salad, and hot food such as black cod miso, beef and shrimp and they were all superb in flavour. Even a simple sushi roll tastes way better at Nobu than anywhere else. I cannot fault the food. It really is awesome. However I am inspired to review the experience because the atmosphere was so terrible. There are no soft furnishings whatsoever - no table cloths, rugs, window blinds, canvases on the walls or acoustic panels on the ceiling. The decor is shiny hard floor, hard tables, glossy walls. Think MacDonalds or hospital cafeteria. The acoustics are terrible! We were literally shouting at each other all night to be heard at a small table for 4. We were at a table next to a big round table with 7 loud men and one woman and they were in a corner next to a glossy wall so the sound of their voices and laughter reverberated everywhere. But it wasn’t just them. The people on our other side were against large windows all along Park Lane so their voices bounced of the windows as well. It wasn’t just how unpleasant it was to have to shout for 2.5 hours to hold a conversation. I also thought to myself that Covid is still around and everyone in the room really had to expel a lot of breath shouting just to be heard. It didn’t feel well ventilated. It was muggy and too warm. Lastly, none of us could hear what the waiters said. At one point a waiter delivered a double potion of popcorn shrimp with three delicious sauces and he put them down and named each sauce and walked away and we all laughed because none of us could hear what he said. There was another waiter who said something to me I couldn’t hear and when I said “I can’t hear you. It’s so loud in here!” he blanked me and walked away. I wanted empathy or acknowledgment from the staff that it was a horrible shouty atmosphere but didn’t get it. I guess they’re used to it. We aren’t particularly old (under 50). It actually makes me angry that the ownership or management don’t understand that at luxury prices and location they need to do better with atmosphere. I woke up hoarse!
Be the first to ReplyConsistently Scrumptious Sushi
I have eaten at other Nobu locations in the world, and was pleased to find it as amazing in London. The restaurant accommodated my wheat allergy without gesitation, and everything was perfect!

Staff are absolutely lovely with amazing manners and very quick service. Food to die for would go again. (Darren was my favorite waiter extremely nice and amazing humor)
Be the first to ReplyNice hotel, average service
The hotel is super well located, the rooms are very comfortable . apart from the concierge, the service was not as it should be for a nobu hotel! The bread in the breakfast is not fresh . Too bad! For a 5 stars hotel
Be the first to ReplyFood/drinks were superb! Service was slow/lacking.
This was our 3rd visit to Nobu London (Park Lane) and while the food was scrumptious as always, the service was not up to the Nobu gold standard weʻve come to expect and appreciate. While our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions, the time it took to take our order(s) and for the additional staff to bring things like plates, utensils, etc. was way too long and frustrating. Dishes we loved: Crispy rice with spicy tuna Scallops with spicy garlic Lobster with wasabi pepper sauce Miso Black Cod (all-time favourite)

Wonderful food, service and ambiance. I am gluten free and the treat took the time to ensure I could enjoy all the amazing tastes. Dragan and his team were so attentive. Thank you
Be the first to ReplyNot really Japanese
I’m in Japan a lot. I mean 8-10 weeks a year. So I know Japanese restaurants and I don’t know what Nobu is but it’s not a Japanese restaurant. I’d loosely call it Japanese themed. To be fair our Spanish waitress was truly excellent. The wine and sake list was excellent albeit the sake section was confusing and I couldn’t find any Dassai nor anyone who knew if they served it. The decor is terrible. The food is entirely in memorable. The sushi was particularly poor. Black cod in miso was passable. Overall they could do a lot better.
Be the first to ReplySet fire to £100 instead of having dinner at Nobu London
The good: 1. Most of the dishes were really delicious and top level Japanese cuisine. 2. The service was great, it was quick, attentive but not intrusive. The bad: 1. The decor is appalling. Without exaggerating, Nobu London looks like a university canteen. When you're paying roughly £100 per head you want to experience a bit of luxury and style and this restaurant is not it. 2. If this restaurant was half the price or the dishes were twice the size then it would be worth going to as most of the dishes were flavoursome and memorable. Some of the portion sizes were ridiculous, the worst was £14 for two (!) prawns. 3. A surprising number of the dishes and drinks were not well reviewed by our group. The prawns mentioned above were distinctly average, as was the apple crumble - Humble Crumble do it infinitely better for half the price. However, the worst one was a £15 cocktail which upon smelling and drinking it my friend discovered had truffle oil in it. He said it was the most disgusting drink he had ever had. All in all Nobu London is one to avoid. I am happy to spend money on a meal if the food is delicious and the experience is enjoyable but this restaurant has neither. Don't make the same mistake we did by ruining your evening with dinner at Nobu London and go to Sushi Samba or China Tang instead.

We were disappointed with 2 things. One is the booking that needed credit card with details, informing us that if the booking was to be cancelled pound 75 would be charged. We came at noon and when we left the restaurant was 1/3 full. I would agree if the booking were to be fully booked and being on a waiting list. Second bento box was average and not as good as previous visit. Such a shame when previous visit where very good. The furniture was shabby looking. Maintenance needs improvement.
Be the first to ReplyUnderwhelming
Been to Nobu many times before... lots of things now missing from a much reduced menu, but prices increased, I know it is fine dining but it felt no more special than Wagamamas... very disappointed...when I want fine dining again I'll go to Hakkasan or the Colony club next door...

Food was really good, however for the price the ambiance is pretty basic. Would have expected better. Service was overall great.

best sushi in the world.
you have to try LOBSTER TEMPURA with HONEY,
sorry: photo does not look too nice, but it tastes like it was made in heaven!
A Dull Experience
Visited Nobu Restaurant in Park Lane for a birthday meal. I found the atmosphere a bit sterile. Something about the menu wasn't selling a meal for me, maybe the way it's written. Overall we ate and bolted as very dull Atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyQuite disappointing really
Was a bit disappointing. Food was excellent. But the service was glacial.
Every dish, every spoon, every glass brought by a different member of staff. No logic. No attention to detail. Staff carrying two tables dishes at once. Waited ages for drinks.
Such a shame.
Great service, great food
The atmosphere, the food, and the service were all fantastic.
We had some of the recommended favourites - sushi, wagyu, and the black miso cod. Did not disappoint in the slightest.
Amazing food
Went with a large group and everything we tried was amazing. Highly recommend the black cod miso and the the spicy tuna crispy rice.
Be the first to ReplyNice food but the decor is disappointing
The tasting menu was quite nice, but it was not quite the experience we had hoped for.
The interior is seriously tired and worn out, the chairs were something like you’d get in a Wetherspoons. It is in major need of refurbishment. The whole look of the restaurant seriously lets Nobu down.
