The food is elevated sushi and creative cocktails. We went here as a big group with 2 very well behaved children and were welcomed with impeccable service. I would highly recommend the Kobe beef dumplings, the Manhattan, lychee martini and any sushi option will be delicious. So fresh and plated beautifully. Skip the rock shrimp - its just average. It's pricy but well worth the splurge! A feast for the eyes and the stomach. I can't wait to try the Malibu location.

For the amount of money we spent I would have expected better quality food. Everything besides the Cod was just ok. We started with the shishito pepper, the carpaccio, few rolls, the cod, the salmon and bread pudding for dessert. Side note the women's restroom was disgusting. I am so shocked being this is like the "it"restaurant in Beverly Hills. I most likely won't be back, at least not this location.

***REVIEW FOR OMAKASE ONLYBefore I go in on the one star, I have to mention my first time omakase at Nobu was back in August 2021. Absolutely mouthwatering and every dish sparked fireworks in my mouth. I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks. I won't post pics as many others have in the reviews. But I will post plenty of this new, revamped Omakase experience. Due to this euphoric experience, I decided I wanted to bring 3 important guests to impress their socks off. I didn't expect dishes to be exactly the same but I did expect the same quality. Oh boy, how wrong was I, to be absolutely humiliated during the 2 1/2 hour long dinner. The first red flag was that omakase was going to be "family style" and the whole table had to order it. Cool, I was going to order omakase for all of us anyway, albeit I was confused at "family style." What made this a more infuriating experience is that a couple next to us also ordered omakase, and they received literally the same portions as we did! (4 people opposed to their 2) I suppose it's a great deal if your party is 2 people but even then I don't recommend it at this price point. Notice on the receipt where it says wagyu beef; they claim to have given us 4 servings. I'm not exaggerating at all when I say I've got the SAME EXACT PORTION FOR ONE INDIVIDUAL in my first omakase experience, except this time they gave us a fiery show as if that makes a difference. At the end of it all, I quietly pulled our waiter to the side and politely informed him that this omakase was an exponentially different experience from the first time. He rambled on with sweat dripping from his forehead that they were understaffed and don't have the number of chefs as they did before to be making individual omakase's. Okay whatever I wasn't going to pull a Karen on him as it wasn't his decision to make the omakase into a Golden Corral buffet. TL;DR: If you hear Nobu say they're doing "FAMILY STYLE" or "WHOLE TABLE HAS TO ORDER OMAKASE." STAY THE F AWAY!!!Feel free to message me if you have any Qs. I'd hate for you to feel ripped off if you experience what I did.

My Mom, and her two friends flew in from PA, and wanted the Nobu experience. Even after having the reservation for weeks, and taking the first hour of the place being open (reservation for 6:15 and they didn't open doors til 6:30) , the hostess took one look at us and relegated us OUTSIDE the restaurant, in what must have been a parking lot that they threw faux grass carpeting on and threw some twinkly lights up. The floor was rocky (my Mom got up and tripped over a wheel of a heat lamp and almost fell into the twinkly light tree), my Mom's friend got up and walked like she had more than the one sake imbibed, due to it's imbalance and almost fell. The food is great. The service was good. The ambience sucked. And my guests felt that they weren't welcome in the inner sanctum of the restaurant. And all for a meal that cost as much as if we were allowed in the actual restaurant. Will never go back. Matsuhisa is better food, and kinder service.

Was in LA for business yesterday so I of course wanted sushi. This place is really good. The fish is so fresh and flavorful. They have so many options and everything is top notch. This is one of the best restaurants in town. And though I don't often say this, even though this place is very expensive it is worth the price. I will go back the next time I am in LA.

Definitely not the same vibes as nobu Malibu with the same prices, but overall amazing Japanese food. My favorite dishes were the ribeye crispy onion and the crispy rice. It is very expensive ($$$$) but for the food quality I think it is worth it to go and try at least once. Especially since very good restaurants in LA are at this price point. Don't recommend getting the rock shrimp, I've had better elsewhere. The soft shell crab roll was very good and looked very pretty. Didn't take a picture but also had the bento box dessert, which was just okay. I don't think they specialize in desserts.

I want to first highlight the staff - very attentive, high level of detail and delightful. They even had suggestions on how to approach each dish.The food was out of this world and it was the perfect amount before a night out. It was 3 people and we had 5-6 appetizers and 3-4 rolls. The quality and freshness of the fishes were great. The sole, tiny reason I'm only giving it a 4 is because everyone I met said we made a horrible decision and should went to the Malibu location (tad discouraging.)

Been wanting to come here for awhile and had higher expectations and I was underwhelmed. All in all, I'd recommend coming here for drinks, a roll or two, and sample anything with wagyu in it. I think the cost is on par with the quality of the food, but not the quantity. Nonetheless I still give this place 4/5 stars. The service was fantastic, make sure you bring 10 bucks for the valet, trust me, the parking is a pain. On to the food and drinks. The drinks we had were great, the mango passion was scary good, very smooth and easy to drink; a dangerous combo. The mia margarita was delicious and a very nice bar style drink, had a hint of spice, reminded me of a good michelada. Our favorite dish were the wagyu tacos, so appetizing, the shell is nice and crispy and the wagyu is flavorful. The oysters were also delicious but at $10, I don't think it's worth it since they're the size of a nickel. The rock shrimp tempura and the fried rice were good, but I don't know if it was just us or something, but the fried elements were not sitting well with us, but the flavor was there. The bento box was solid as well. The salmon avocado roll was a big surprise, very fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend the sushi for sure. Next time, I'm definitely trying the wagyu steak and the sea bass, they look and smell delicious.

The food was so amazing! I loved every single plate that came out! I'm giving it 4 stars because the ambiance was like eh, and the waiters took so long to get us water that we were paying for ! Geez idk how many times we asked for water and nobody brought it to us until a friend of mine complained. We also never received one of our orders that we kept asking for as well. Nobu Los Angeles is fabulous. Every dish was perfect and wait staff excellent. Six of us all agreed that Nobu LA was the best of the three Nobu restaurants that we've been to. All Nobu restaurants are great, but LA was superb. It may not have the magnificent view of Malibu, but the ambience and decor was still lovely. The black cod miso, lobster tacos, and rock shrimp tempura, shrimp and lobster with Spicy Lemon Dressing, and roasted baby vegetables were particularly divine. Parking is on the street if you're lucky, or just go with the valet.

No matter if you're in Malibu, London, Moscow or Milan, you'll have an excellent meal and experience exceptional hospitality at Nobu. My girlfriend and I made a reservation for this restaurant about a month in advance, we came in with high expectations. Parking was easy, valet by the door. We had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated in an area I deemed to be a more private part of the restaurant. Our server (I believe Justin?) was excellent and made great recommendations. Our plates were delicious, the wagyu tacos were my personal favourite. My girlfriend really enjoyed her ceviche. The desserts were phenomenal. Overall a great experience and would definitely return it back in LA.

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
