Aren't DMV Appointments non-transferrable?

While it's true that appointments are technically not transferable, for DMV Appointments the transfer service is included for buyers at no cost. The transfer team has both - the sellers and the buyers dmv information, so it can cancel the sellers appointment and then rebook under the buyers name. When it came to DC I wanted to go but it took a while to go. This place is expensive but good. The good here is good and shareable. My friend and I went there on a Friday night for Happy hour and didn't have a reservation. We were able to sit down but it took a while. We ordered Nigiri, the rock shrimp (which is popular dish), and two other items. The one that came with the rice, we thought it would be all put together but you have to put it together yourself, which was unexpected. The last thing I would say is Lychee Martini is sooooooo gooooood! Overall I was happy, but its expensive, so it would be a place that you would go to for special occasions, at least for me it would be.

Filipe Bertrand just ensured I will never be a Nobu customer ever again. Went in to purchase a gift card and after he swiped my credit card told me the funds could take up to 48 hours to load on the card. When I expressed frustration because the gift recipient is dining tomorrow night, he blamed the gift card vendor and showed zero empathy. In fact, he was extremely rude with an emotionless face. When I went to Nobu's website to check the gift card balance, the website is broken. Nobu should get rid of their emotionless, customer unfocused employees and get new technology. I will ensure to post this review everywhere. For a luxury restaurant, the DC location provides the same experience to a busy McDonalds during midnight hours. Don't waste your money and go to Bourbon next door.

We ordered the premium omakase menu and were delighted with every course. Pricey for sure, but worth it for a special occasion. The portions are quite small but there are enough courses that we didn't leave hungry. We also sampled several sakes of which they have many different premium varieties. Again, were delighted with what we got. The service was very attentive without feeling rushed or fussy. The waiter did a nice job helping us with the sake selection. In summary: great meal, but at a price!

Ive visited Nobu in Doha Qatar and was excited to have some of the delectable foods that are specially curated to excite and surprise. What I got was good food and terrible service. My server Kenia took neither time nor interest to make sure our dining experience was memorable. No recommendations or explanations provided despite my spouse saying this is my first time here. When my spouse asked questions about how food was prepared to ensure it was safe for my son (who had a liver transplant due to a dairy allergy) Kenia seem annoyed to answer as if take care of a child patron was beneath her. When I asked for a yellow fin sushi roll minus the jalapeño pepper for my son her response so you mean the yellow fin with scallion. While it was the correct dish her tone was one that was very condescending. My point of frustration hit a peak when I overhead the party at an adjoining table mention to this same server they were first timers and received a much more pleasant explanation of the menu and what would be on the chefs tasting menu. I should have known this was not going to be a good dining experience when at check in the host made the comment that we needed to be finished by 7:30 because they have a completely book house. If this is how customer service is for fine dining I will strongly consider going somewhere I will feel appreciated. High point the sea bass, sushi, wagyu dumplings and tenderloin Low point the server and the Wagyu tacos

Our favorite sushi place when we want to have a nice date night. Since our first visit, we always ask to sit in Kitt's section. The best there! We normally order the passion fruit martini, edamame and shishito peppers, yellowtail jalapeño, crispy rice with tuna, new style sashimi, rock shrimp, wagyu dumplings, and then yellowtail jalapeño again! So good! For dessert, we always order the bento box. Can't wait until our next visit!

To celebrate our very special occasion we chose Nobu Washington DC. Lakisha was our server and she was awfully rude and no clue how to treat guests. She threw the check in the end and never said thank you or good evening. Never be back, felt very humiliated!!!! What a shame

Clean and very welcoming. The food is good extremely flavorful but the portion sizes are so small it honestly may not be necessary. I had 3 tacos and the portion size was extremely small I would recommend to never get it even if it was for a snack. The rock shrimp is a okay on the bang bang shrimp so of course it's great. The lychee martini are a 13/10 I love it !

My first experience using AT was awesome and the AT support saved the day! When my booking transfer initiated two days earlier but didn't complete by the day of the reservation, AT was able to expedite the transfer and confirm a table at Call Me Gaby in Miami Beach. I highly recommend this service. Reservations sell out in minutes as they become available at this restaurant. I was able to get a table at the exact time we wanted, on a peak weekend night. Amazing!

Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
