A very satisfying restaurant
I tried traditional Korean BBQ I can see many Korean employees and kindly grill all the meat. The side dishes were also delicious

This place is so authentic and you must try this place if you are travelling to Singapore 🇸🇬. Korean BBQ at its best.

If you are looking for a Korean bbq restaurant in Singapore, come here. service and taste all really great. I didn't regret it :)
Be the first to ReplyBest beef so far for Korean BBQ
So far the best Korean BBQ I tried in Singapore. We ordered the following
- Prime Beef ($42-160g)
Normally I don’t like the beef quality other korean bbq restaurants serve cos not worth the price…but this place really good quality… you would think they using good quality wagyu( like A3-A4 quality). Beefy , Juicy and not overly oily with fat
- Pork Belly ($20-180g)
Thick cut and cooked well by staff. Only problem got small bone inside so watch out
- Pork Collar ($20-180g)
Thick cut so take time to cook and came out a bit dry… I think thinner cut would be better
- Jajangmyeon
First time trying this type of noodle. Really liked it. The black sauce taste reminds me a bit of KL style black sauce fried Hokkien mee.
- Mandu
Meaty fried dumpling. Quite filling
Have not been to Korea before so I don’t know what is authentic Korean Bbq but this place for me is very good. When I go to Seoul next Jan/Feb than I will know
Long Wait at the restaurant
I waited for 2 hours at this restaurant. I have to wait for a very long time. If you are not prepared to wait for a very long time like 2 hours, PLS don't come to this restaurant.

One of the best Korean bbq joints I’ve ever eaten add. Meats are fantastic. They cook for me and I don’t even have to lift a finger except to point to what I want in the menu. But be warned, waiting time can be super long and there are no reservations so go and line up as easy as possible or be prepared to wait. They have an electronic tablet outside for u to key in your number... then they’ll call you when your table is ready. I usually go across the road for a few drinks first.

when my parents was dinging there, service was so bad. my parent was complaining to me how rude and slow the stuff was.

Finally got to try their bbq after 4 attempts. This time, we went on a Monday at 5pm. The restaurant was filled up before 6pm. Had the pork and beef set and ordered extra prime beef and cold noodles. The banchans were awesome. From the regular kimchi and mash potato to the long beans and cucumber. They were all great! The pork and beef were nicely cooked. Juicy, succulent and tasty. The GalBi was the best. While the prime beef was good, prefer the GalBi. Could do with more meat for the price. Set came with steam egg and soup. Steam egg was not the best I’ve tasted. Not many do it well anyway. Kimchi soup was ok with lots of ingredients. The cold noodles was refreshing. Service was great. Overall, one of the best Korean bbqs around. Totally explains the Q. Just rather pricey for the quantity of meat.

The food is really good. But the waiting time is very long. I hope they will come up with a reservation system, otherwise, I wouldn't recommend you to go if you are very hungry.

Meat selections were varied - well seasoned; portion size was generous. The free flow of appetizers was delicious and the staff topped them up quite readily. Environment a tad noisy.

Highly recommend this place for Korean BBQ. Food was pretty authentic (vetted by Koreans) and portion sizes were pretty reasonable. We had the pork belly set (I think it’s the second item on the menu) and ordered extra beef and pork as my brother wanted more. Sadly, this place isn’t very family friendly for young children as there was no child seat available. Luckily we went during a weekday lunch and it was not as crowded as it usually is. Do note that the price is on the high side so come prepared re expectations on prices.

there were many korean restaurants along the street but a mutual friend recommended this to us!
we ordered the pork set which included 4 cuts of meat and a steamed egg. best bbq meat that i have tried in SG so far! their side dishes 반찬, kimchi stew 김치찌개 and the mixed rice balls 주목밥 were also AMAZING.
the service was excellent as they would help to cook the meat and refill the kimchi and lettuce. we also received a free yakult at the end of the meal!
overall this place is a 10/10 and i could definitely see myself going back often! (but for people with a tight budget it might not be your best choice)
Atmosphere and excellent food
Along Tanjog Pagar Street in the old fashioned shop-houses there are numerous restaurants (alongside, oddly, many bridal wear shops,) and a lot of those are Korean barbeque joints. What makes O.BBa BBQ stand out is the huddle of people outside, half blocking the pavement. It is popular with the people who live in Singapore; and, as we found out, popular for a reason. Because it is popular, one must add one’s name to the doorman’s list and wait maybe half an hour for a table to become available. One cannot book a place in the queue and pop over the road for a beer – but, being old fashioned, one can leave wives to do the queuing.
One thing about all the old shop-houses is that there is not a lot of room inside which makes for a great atmosphere and a lot of noise. There seems to be a custom for all the cook/waiters to let out a shout of greeting or thanks whenever a customer arrived or left. That is all the waiters. There is no dozing off in a corner at this place. Considering that a lot of the food is cooked at the table, it is not too hot and not at all smoky; the little extractors lowered over each grill doing a great job.
Seemingly dozens of little side dishes turn up almost as soon as one is seated along with the dishes ordered from the kitchen. Then the meat arrives to be grilled at the table; several types of pork and several cuts of beef in our case. What can one say? The pork and beef were truly excellent and the kimchi pancake… well I cannot envisage going back to pizza.
A Singaporean friend said this place was the best Korean barbeque in town and I cannot argue with that.
