Extremely poor service and even though it's $32 for a super simple dish, they served everything on cold plates, even the bass and the bolognese. I ordered the beet salad and even though the waitress asked how everything looked, it took her almost 22 minutes to swing back around to see how things tasted!!

The service was slow. I had the salad which was wilted. It was obvious it was prepped too far ahead of time. My kiddo got the Mac and cheese and the sauce was broken. My husband got the steak and he said it was pretty fantastic. I ordered the ceviche and it was overwhelming seasoned I wasn't able to finish it- nor my husband. I saw a lot of tables with appetizers and that was probably the way to go.

Cocktail undrinkable. Clams and fresh oysters tasteless. Flat bread dough was juvenile. Hard pass.. Bolognese pasta was chewy and grainy which was only made worse by a sauce that makes Lean Cuisine offerings a better experience.
Be the first to ReplyOur service this evening was missing.
Food was subpar. Kids meals were good. Very nice inside. But waiter never returned. Someone else brought food out and never asked again for anything. Had to chase for the bill.
Be the first to ReplyCompletely unacceptable.
I have been coming to Atlantis for several years with my family. We tried to reserve a table months in advance but Olives doesn't allow reservations for more than 4 people on Open Table. We went to the restaurant at 5:10pm with plenty of tables open. The Manager when getting a table said that they had full reservations and the only thing we could do is come back in an hour or sit outside. We sat outside as it was immediate, however there were several 8 plus top tables open when we went out and when we walked out after we were finished an hour later. I asked her why she didn't seat us inside and she said that she is fully booked. There were the same tables open when we were done. She said we probably ate fast because it was humid outside. The fact she stated that and treated me the way she did after spending $500 on a meal is completely unacceptable. I do not recommend this place or going here. There are much better options at the resort. They need to do better. Much better.
Be the first to ReplyFood was below average.
The clams and oysters were inedible and the main entree was cold when it got to the table.
Be the first to ReplyThe service is absolutely terrible.
The food is mediocre at best. Over priced and not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyOlives at Atlantis USED TO BE one of our favorite dining
Olives at Atlantis USED TO BE one of our favorite dining spots- but it has gone downhill on our most recent visits. The bar seats are 1st come/ 1st served and my favorite place to dine. After eating a very mediocre meal at the bar earlier in the week (Butternut Squash Tortelli was not available so I ordered the chicken cacciatore (way over cooked). While on vacation, we tend to be a lot more forgiving and relaxed, so I overlooked the poor service aspect and the poorly prepared chicken cacciatore dish. However, we went back a few nights later for redemption - to get the butternut squash tortellini (my favorite item on their menu); but it was once again not available. A few minutes later, I asked the our Bartender (the same taller/ thinner dark skinned bartender that we had 2 nights prior) for replacement suggestions, and he had none. So, after reviewing the menu for a few more minutes, I actually queried the other bartender, and he provided all sorts of suggestions and customized pasta options that sounded delightful. But about that same time, the bartender that had been tending to us for both visits to Olives, felt the need to chime in, interrupt, and be flat out nasty. I was absolutely amazed at the situation. We were excited to order some of the alternative pasta options that were presented to us, but apparently we must've irritated the bartender that was tending to us. Our initial bartender made the situation very uncomfortable; so it was at that time, we stood up from the bar, walked away. Enough is enough. As the saying goes, this was the straw that broke the camels back. Many great memories and many great meals there over the years. After 15-20 meals at Olives Atlantis over the past 10 years- we WILL NOT BE BACK.
Be the first to ReplyWe went here for lunch this past Friday.
It was a rainy day so this clearly had an impact on the operation since so many people couldn't eat at the outdoor pool restaurants. We got two seats at the bar and the bartender did let us know it would be a while before he could get to us (it appeared to be only him for the bar and the entire restaurant). Having worked in hospitality, we understood and he did the best he could. The food was just terrible. We both ordered the olives burger. It took about an hour to get the burgers and when they arrived, the actual burger patty was lukewarm if even. I worried that it had been cooked in bulk and then just sat out (not a good feeling to think about food safety). We ate most of our food because we were hungry and I can't imagine how anything would have been better if we complained. For the two burgers and three beers, our bill was about $95. I don't mind paying when the food is good, but this was worse than a school cafeteria.

We were at Atlantis' Olives restaurant and had to wait for 10 minutes before the bartender finally took our drink order. We decided to order a flatbread and tuna tartare as well. After finishing our drinks, we patiently waited for our food, but it never arrived. The bartender kept disappearing and failed to check if we needed another round of drinks, despite our glasses being empty for at least 30 minutes. Surprisingly, the bar wasn't even crowded. Throughout the next hour, I observed the bartender only making two drinks after serving us. Frustrated with the lack of service, we decided to leave $40 on the bar to cover the cost of our drinks and departed. In the meantime, the pizza chef effortlessly churned out at least 50 pizzas. It would be wise to promote her to bartender, as our experience was a complete waste of both time and money.
Be the first to ReplyBest food and dinner we have had this whole trip!!
Best food and dinner we have had this whole trip!! Delicious chopped salad and sea bass! My husband had a delicious homemade pasta dish. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyThe free bread in the beginning is very very good.
We ordered the seafood tower and the shrimp tasted great and were definitely very meaty, however, the rest was just ok. For the cost of the meal, it wasn't really worth it in our eyes but the convenience of being at Atlantis is super nice.
Be the first to ReplyIt was difficult getting dining last minute since our group
It was difficult getting dining last minute since our group didn't make reservations in advance while in Atlantis. We were able to get a table at olives one of our evenings. I ordered sea bass. Everything was great about it except for the oiliness around the risotto. The fish was cooked just right. My coconut cauliflower risotto was amazing. I could have it all day. Service was great.
Be the first to Replygood chicken tenders.
good servicei enjoyed eating heretheir bread is yummywould rate a 9/10 as service was kinda slow
Be the first to ReplyThis was by far not only the worst meal I had on vacation,
This was by far not only the worst meal I had on vacation, but the worst meal I've ever tried. I waited for my appetizers longer than my meal lasted. The best thing here was in fact the free bread. To start, we had the tuna tar tar and olive mezze which came with crisp pita chips. The tuna tartar was under salted and missing citrus, but not the end of the world. The worst had to be the truffle risotto which I had high hopes for. It was over cooked, soupy, and more of a porridge (I mistook them for the mashed potatoes). The potatoes were the best part although they were a tad salty. The flat bread was barely precut, floppy, and I had to roll the bread in order to eat it- it certainly was not flat. The spinach was not seasoned or salted and made me feel like I was a turtle. The butternut squash tortellini was a tad confusing because it was in fact more of a ravioli. It was undercooked and hard in complete contrast to the risotto. I thought maybe my hopes and expectations for food were too high, but as I looked around the restaurant I realized everyone was disappointed in their meals. Save yourself the time, trip, money, and disappointment. Biggest disappointment and flop of the vacation :/
Be the first to ReplyWe have been to this restaurant several times and had great
We have been to this restaurant several times and had great service at the bar. Last night four of us had reservations and sat outside. Our server was the worst ever. He never introduced himself, never asked if we wanted drinks and was displeased we wanted separate checks between both couples. We chose not to tip above the automatic 15% and he returned to the table and glared at us. There was a manager who asked each table but ours how their dinner was. He never stopped at our table. We will NOT return to this restaurant and sit at a table. SO very disappointed!
Be the first to ReplyWe were seated right at our reservation time.
Service was quick and friendly. The cocktails were mixed well and arrived quickly. The fried calamari appetizer was excellent and came.with a spicy sauce instead of the same old boring marinara. Everyone enjoyed their entrรฉes and wine. I would dine here again
Be the first to ReplyFood was super oily.
Pasta was literally dripping with oil. Everything we ordered was like that. Yuck!! Our server was the only nice thing about the meal.
Be the first to ReplyOlives- Atlantis Paradise Island serves Mediterranean
Olives- Atlantis Paradise Island serves Mediterranean cuisine. It is located in the casino area of the Atlantis Royal Tower. You can find celebrity chef Todd English's signature open and bustling kitchen here. We were super lucky to sit on their outdoor balcony. The views of the marina are mesmerizing! We ordered a seafood tower. It was pretty impressive. The seafood tower is full of steamed and raw shellfish artfully displayed on ice. There is nothing better than enjoying a meal with such a gorgeous environment to wind down after playing the waterslides at Aquaventure. Food: 4/5 Should Try!Service: 4/5 Kids: 4/5 Yay! Be the first to ReplyService was exceptional.
The food was not. It was so so.We had their flatbread, seafood tower, filet and scallops. It was okay overall, but we got their drinks (pretty good). I'd say it's a solid 7/10 for the appetizers and entrees. The only thing I'd get again is the scallops
Be the first to ReplyDecent food but awful customer service.
We seemed to be an annoyance and it felt rushed. Hate the automatic 15% tip. If someone is good they start at 20%. If they are bad, they don't get 15. This would have been a 10% night for us.
Be the first to ReplyOlives can be summed up as the following: a more refined
Olives can be summed up as the following: a more refined Cheesecake Factory. I arrived 15 minutes before my reservation and was seated with a minimal wait. The atmosphere was loud, seats either very firm or so soft you could sink in a few inches before you encountered any real support. Attire was a mix of everything from street casual to business formal. Everything from the drinks to the food took longer than expected to arrive. As one of the appetizers, a flatbread, reached my table I was informed that there was no table bread nor olive appetizers available tonight. The flatbread itself though was very good: warm and fresh though had a lot of arugula piled on top. The first dish, the pork plate, appeared well balanced at first. The glaze was sweet and provided some-but not all-of the moisture that the thoroughly cooked pork was missing. In fact, multiple pieces clung to the wall of my throat. The tasty mash proved worthy to supplement said lack of moisture. All of the vegetables were undercooked and tasteless, however. My second dish, the butternut squash tortellini, was presented in a mediocre fashion with a runny sauce and a good temperature. Both the filling and pasta itself tasted good. The side of mashed potatoes which was supposed to be served with my first plate didn't come until a couple minutes after as the server forgot it. The first half of this well balanced mash was delicious, however I eventually stumbled upon approximately 1/4 of a whole potato, skin and all. It was so undercooked that I couldn't even mash it with my fork. Overall disappointing. Some technical gripes: total visit ended up being about 50% longer than expected, there was no salt or pepper available, no wine pairings were suggested, wines weren't available but information as to which wasn't readily accessible, wine was served in a sample glass instead of a full-sized glass, and there was a loud interruption in the casino area which made conversation impossible for nearly 20 minutes. Food: 6.5Atmosphere: 3Service: 7Speed: 2Quality: 6Overall: 5/10
Be the first to ReplyThe good.
The beef carpaccio, ravioli and steak. The not so good. Soo loud. There was a singer in the casino and in all fairness she wasn't bad, just the volume was way too loud. The service was almost non existent. Bad enough to negatively affect the meal.
Be the first to ReplyFood was very good and our waiter was very good.
His support staff was very unfriendly otherwise I would give the place a 5 stars. Food was excellent we were very pleased with the food. I would go back
Be the first to ReplyI can't say I was impressed at all for my lunch at Olives.
Service was terrible. I understand most restaurants are having staffing issues but this was ridiculous.I had the combo special which saved you $2.00. Caesar salad and a fried chicken sandwich. Neither was over the top in taste. My dining companion had the fish & chips which had too much breading. For desert we tried the Nutella cheesecake. The only photo worth posting was the cheesecake. Maybe this is better off as a place for coffee and dessert??
