Back in July, my fiance and I purchased Living Social deals for a 5 day juicing cleanse. I spoke with the owner Scott and set up an appointment for a consultation as he stated was required prior to beginning the cleanse. I arrived early to the consultation and waited in the lobby for 20 minutes and Scott never showed. Additionally, he did not answer my calls or texts that day. A few days later after trying to contact him he responded back stating that I was texting his work phone that he rarely checks. We arranged for him to email the waivers versus having a consultation in person to begin the cleanse. Additionally, Scott told me that the Living Social deal did not provide enough juice to meet daily nutritional needs so I would have to purchase additional juice for myself and my fiance and $30 a piece for the 5 day cleanse. I paid him on the first day to cover the costs. I set up a time with Scott to pick up the fresh juice every evening. He was there ONLY the first pick up and never again. I was instructed to just go in the fridge and grab my juice if he was not there, that it would be labeled for me. Mind you, the juice is supposedly custom made for each person....however my fiance and I were never asked any questions besides height and weight to determine customized dietary needs etc. Several times when I went to pick up our juice, my fiance's were labeled "Andrew". His name is Anthony. I would have to call Scott and ask what to do since we were strictly juicing and not supplementing with any other food/nutrients. With little support and guidance (and not to mention that juicing in general is no easy feat), I decided to end my cleanse two days early. I calculated out how many jars of juice I received which was only the Living Social amount. I talked with Scott and he agreed to refund me the $30 I paid for myself for the additional juices since I would not be receiving them. My fiance continued his cleanse and when I went to pick up his last two sets of juice they were again mislabeled "Andrew" and not enough juice was there. The last day I went to pick up juice for my fiance and there was no Scott and No juice; and no Scott to answer calls or texts too might I add. As you may assume, we were frustrated. We had no coaching, support, customized cleanse etc. My fiance did not receive enough juice for the last two days so I requested from Scott a refund of the $30 I paid extra for my fiance as well' Scott agreed and told me that he would issue a refund on the credit card that I used to pay originally; stating it would take 7-10 business days to process. After waiting more than ten business days and still no refund in my account I contacted Scott and he told me that I could come to the store and he would write me a check OR he could mail one to my house. I was frustrated and did not want to make the effort to go into the store so I provided him with my address and he said he'd mail a check for a $60 refund to cover the costs for both my fiance and I. It is now October. After many texts, calls to Scott's cell phone, calls to his work phone number, emails on Organico's website from both myself and my fiance and we have YET to receive our refund. Scott is not reliable, the way he conducts business is hardly professional, and frankly we're still owed money. Needless to say I will never give my business to Organico and I will tell everyone that I know that if there are interested in juicing to go anywhere but Organico.
