Such a brilliant experience! We sat right next to the angels making the pasta! The food was absolutely first class. There a no wonder a huge cue was gathering to get in! Such authenticity love and passion. Thank you

Fantastic customer service, the waiter Arif was so attentive and made our dinner here very enjoyable. The food was insanely delicious and so reasonably priced. It makes complete sense why thereโs always a massive queue down the street for this restaurant, couldnโt recommend more if youโre in Milan.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious carbonara!
Itโs very close to the metro station. They make their own pasta and everyone can see it from the outside windows! Went with my fiancรฉ and we both chose the carbonara! And thereโs a variety of wines you can order to eat with it! We loved it!

Came upon this restaurant by chance and was lucky enough to get a table for lunch. Great pasta, freshly made (you can see it been made through the window). Carbonara was exceptional. Tiramasu was also good. Go early to get a seat, highly recommended.

Milan in general, was a bit more expensive eating out than Rome. But we were seated right beside the window where we could see 2 ladies taking turns making fresh pasta, so it was made an unique experience. The pasta tasted very good, but if you like right-on-the-dot Al Dente, this place's pasta doneness was a tad under Al Dente. It was really a personal preference but maybe for some, the pasta can use an extra 1 or 2 minutes to be cooked. We also tried the Oxtail dish and it was very good - rich in sauce and meat was juicy.

We ordered 3 different types of pasta and all were excellent. Good portion, freshly made pasta and authentic recipes. Good service from our waiter. The osteria does not take bookings and you May need to wait for a table at busy hours but still worth it.

Went there for a lunch and had a mixed experience. Tables were too close to each other and we were constantly being hit by the waitress/guests passing by which was very disturbing while eating. (no one apologised). Ordered a pasta and ravioli. Pasta was very delicious however ravioli had a very salty taste which really put me off and I could hardly finish it. Given the prices per item, quality of food should be improved. Very limited options available for Vegan/Vegetarian.

Luca was an amazing waiter! Recommend. Cheesecake 10/10 we went later on in the evening and there was no queue

The pasta was fantastic! Rich flavour and perfect al dente, staff was treating us very well, just be prepared for a full restaurant ( we came around 22.00 but was lucky to get two seats) we will come back!

Came here for our last meal in Milan after hearing such great reviews. Managed to get a table quite quickly (lunch time on a Tuesday in March) but we were quite disappointed and wished weโd gone somewhere else. The pasta was ok but both the sauces (ragรบ & veal sauce) were very salty. No Parmesan or pepper offered and I had to ask for these. The price was too much for what we had - โฌ18 per plate of pasta, โฌ5 each for a small beer and โฌ4 per person cover charge, which we thought was very strange when the table cloths and napkins were paper. Total cost โฌ54 for two plates of pasta and 2 beers. Service was ok but it was clear they were trying to turn the tables over quickly. When we paid, they asked how the meal was, we said it was only ok but not worth the price and they said there was nothing they could do as that was the price. There are much better places in Milan with better food and service for a cheaper price.

Me and my partner went here on our first night and it was absolutely amazing, Georgio served us and was friendly, attentive and kind! The food quality was 10/10 and for reasonable prices. We loved it so much that we retuned on the 3rd night & tried all different dishes which were all just as delicious. You have to come here if you visit Milan!

Be the first to ReplyWithout a doubt the worst restaurant we have visited in recent years
Without a doubt the worst restaurant we have visited in recent years. We arrived on a recommendation and there was a long line outside (just unbelievable). The menu is very basic, mainly pastas. After waiting, we were seated on the balcony at our request. Because of the load, the service was simply horrible. We really begged to be treated. When the food finally arrived, it was very basic and not tasty. There were hundreds of huge mosquitoes that managed to bite even under the clothes. We think it's because of the strong lights they installed. The owner is aware of the problem (which we were not greeted with in other restaurants in Milan) and has an anti-mosquito product there (which doesn't help). We tasted a little of the food and since it was not possible to sit down and enjoy it, we simply left the food as it was, paid at the register and went to another restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyTasty fresh han made pasta
The restaurant is located in a cute side street. There are terrace and indoor seatings available. The terrace is generally filled up. We were lucky to get a table immediately on the terrace when we arrived. The English menu is available online and we had to use our phones to check it. This is a bit of a plus or minus depending on how comfortable you are with this arrangement. I have a mixed feeling about it and would still prefer the good old menu โbookโ to read in a restaurant. The freshly hand made pasta were really chewy and delicious. The portions are just right in size. Itโs a nice place for a simple pasta dinner but the price may be a bit high for it but the authenticity is definitely something great about it.
Be the first to ReplyGood food, but overhyped
The food is good and portion sizes are large. However it wasnโt worth the 45 minute wait time. Service was quite hurried. Appetizers were good though - get the fritto misto!
