Went before a play.
Parked next door at the Sheraton. $25 using parkwhiz app. The atmosphere is romantic. A big place. Started with a specialty gimlet. It was delicious, perfect blend of fruit. Had the calamari. Crispy and came with a nice dipping sauce. Went with the chicken for dinner. It was delicious. It was light and came with mashed potatoes which were plentiful. Wife had the fettuccine with lobster. Fettuccine was perfectly cooked al dente. On top of it all the service was impeccable.

Be the first to ReplyWe had date night here before a show.
We had flown to NYC from Nebraska for this show, so the night/date was A big deal for me. The food was spectacular. I had the special, it was a lightly breaded cod and I will be dreaming of it forever. Our waiter, Eduardo was wonderful! He was attentive and personable! He really made the night perfect! Highly recommend

Today I had lunch at Osteria and was very impressed by both the food and service. I started with the lobster bisque which was delicious and had an entree of pasta with bolognese. I have to admit it was great. Bella our server was friendly and professional. Her suggestions were right on target and she couldn't have been more pleasant. The restaurant itself was attractive and it was nice that the tables were not on top of each other. I would recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Italian food.

Great Italian restaurant in the city! I came here with my mom before a Broadway show and sat in the bar/lounge area. The restaurant was very cute, but next time I would probably request to be in the main dining area as the bar seating was a little close together. We started with some cocktails followed by a delicious bottle of Italian wine (can't remember the name). For the appetizer, we got one of the specials which was a hamachi crudo which was fantastic! For entrees, we split the Sea bass for 2 as well as the rigatoni with meat sauce. Everything was very good. And lastly we ended with the tiramisu and panna cotta. Both great but the tiramisu was huge!! Overall would definitely recommend.

I just had an absolutely fantastic dinner here! My job hosted a dinner this evening, and it was a complete 10 out of 10. The service was exceptional, ambiance was perfect, conversation across the entire table was audible and everything that I had was wonderful. Our meal started with several appetizers for the table: meatballs, burrata, and arincini. They all were wonderful. From there, our entire 3 course meal was served family style, so I was able to try everything on our curated menu. Favorite items that I enjoyed were: the filet mignon (very tender and juicy), roasted chicken with salsa verde (excellent), and the mashed potatoes were creamy and bursting with flavor. For dessert, the tiramisu was delicious. Overall, the meal was exceptional from start to finish and I would absolutely return (hopefully soon)!

STELLAR SERVICE! Great Italian option in Midtown offers a great array of options from Pizza to Seafood in a beautiful appointed space with a bar flanked by community tables to enjoy Charcuterie with friends and seating in the mid and rear with an open concept kitchen and quieter tables in the rear. The China is branded and presentation is as it should be. Special Cocktails are well crafted and worth exploration. Everything we ate was delicious. However the kind, genuine, knowledgeable and warm hospitality we received from our server Bertha was one of the best device interactions I've experienced in a very long time. Her recommendations were so good. Her service execution is rare. For this alone....5 Stars across the board! Thank you for the great experience!!!

The appetizer selection and the dessert menu was absolutely delicious. We had the tuna tartare and the burrata for the appetizer and tried the zeppoles, tiramisu and the chocolate budino for dessert they were all so well crafted and delicious. The service was a bit slow for a Saturday evening but, we weren't in a rush so we enjoyed our long dinner. The cocktails were also very good and the ambiance was very nice. Overall it's a very cute spot.

The food was good but not great. The thing that really stood out on my recent visit was the service. Our server was not very attentive to our table disappearing for long periods of time. It's a shame because the restaurant is in a gorgeous space. That's just not enough for me to recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyEverything was just fine.
For a Midtown Manhattan restaurant it is actually disappointing. With all the great choices in Midtown, particularly for Italian food, there is little reason to go to Osteria La Baia. The service was ok, as was the food. The room is nice, but nothing special. On a Saturday evening it was half empty. Overall it was disappointing.

The place had a nice vibe to it. Very clean and kind of a romantic atmosphere. The service was great. Very professional yet personable. The craft cocktails were top shelf and our food was fantastic

Amazing experience and service (especially Walter and bartender Roberto!) food and drinks were good as well as dessert. Ambiance was very elegant and classy. Also very clean. If you are the Broadway district, it's a must try before a show!
Be the first to ReplyAmbiance is great and so is the food.
The reason for the 3 star review is more about how they made me feel. It's a beautiful restaurant and the pricing is a bit high on some items which is all good, but I just felt like we were looked down on a bit by the waiter.Maybe it's just me, but it's a bit snooty. I just felt like they didn't think we belonged. We were a bit under dressed, but leave the silent judgement aside. Onto the food, the $20 for 2 meatballs was a bit steep, but delicious. My $17 peach bellini was NOT good at all. The rest of the dishes I would go back for in a heartbeat. Oh and the tiramisu is a must try. Unfortunately I didn't get pics of all the food. We were hungry. So pro tip, if you're gonna visit, maybe don't dress for comfort. We went here after a full day of exploring the town, but no excuse for me leaving a bit annoyed and I had to flag down our waiter for the check. I was about to walk to the hostess to get it taken care of because i couldn'tget his attention as the table next to us was definitely getting all his attention. Not what i would expect for a $300 dinner.

Out for a walk in NYC and used Yelp to help us find a good Italian restaurant...and it was really good. The setting, service and food were amazing. Lobster pasta was indeed tasty and my wife said the lemon drop cocktail was good also. A great find outside of Times Square!
Be the first to ReplyReally enjoy the food! A little pricey but worth every bit.
Definitely recommend trying the Arancini and the Short Rib Ravioli. So good!

Accidentally ordered a vegan pizza because I thought the toppings sounded good but it was not what I expected. We were the only ones there when we had lunch on a weekend

The service was amazing and never mind the food being superb! Great ambiance as well. Go check this place out!
Be the first to ReplyThis place is awesome! Where to start.
.. The food is excellent. Some notable items on the menu - rigatoni alla norma (the best I've had in the city), tuna tartare, burrata (the side salad it comes with has a dressing to die for), selection of meats, and the Bolognese (a light-er take, not so saucey). The cocktails are really excellent - one of my favorite spots in NY to grab a martini. Be sure to check out their negroni menu (the Bianco is amazing).Service is always excellent. Wait staff are very attentive. The bartenders are a great time as well!
Be the first to ReplyRecently had dinner here before going to a Broadway show.
The food and cocktails were all 5/5 solid. Burrata especially was a great consistency and came with perfect bread for spreading. Margherita pizza was solid. For me, the atmosphere inside was just a bit too stuffy and pretentious. I'm sure for some people it wouldn't be a bother, it just wasn't my ideal vibe.

Amazing food, great decor, excellent service, restaurant that is perfect for any occasion!
Be the first to ReplyThe experience was great overall.
We were greeted warmly by the hostess Sheena, seated in the lounge and received excellent service from our waitress. The only thing that could be improved was the octopus. We found it rubbery and tough and the chef, Bryan, made us a second one which was better but still not as tender as other octopus dishes we have had at other restaurants. All said and done, I would definitely go back."
