Excellent Italian Sunday Brunch
An excellent place for Sunday brunch with great Italian food. They have a very good Italian wine list that though smaller than usual packs a lot of good stuff. I ended up having 3 different glasses of Italian white wine that one usually never sees like a Pecorino wine. The food was so good we order dinner to go as it was our last night in town and we needed to stay in our room and pack to catch the next day's flight home. Pasta is made in-house and I had an exceptional ravioli stuffed with ricotta in a white truffle sauce that was to die for. I am still tasting the finish 2 days later. Service was attentive and helpful. We came one reason because the chef or owner is also associated some how with Ai Firori which used to be our favorite restaurant in NYC but our lunch there this week was disappointing. But I am happy to say brunch at Morini was wonderful and recommended.

With Italian restaurants being many of your choices in any city but especially New York this was exceptional. We started the evening with a special of stuffed squash blossoms which were delicious. Onto the Tagliatelle with sausage, broccoli rabe pesto and pecorino was ethereal. Branzino with spring vegetables, and salmon with a silky potato leek purée and pickled mushrooms which was perfectly balanced in flavor. Finished the meal with bomboloni’s, ricotta donuts with two sauces, perfect. Service was Uber friendly and attentive from all waitstaff and runners that work as a team flawlessly in such a busy setting. Highly recommended if your in TheSoHo area.

To drink, we decided on a bottle of Italian white wine. They have a good wine list, and this bottle was $50 and nice and light. My husband and I started with the Polpette. They came with a red sauce and a béchamel sauce which was a great combination. Bread wasn't offered to us, but we saw them deliver it to another table so we asked for it. They gave us some Rosemary focaccia which paired well with the leftover sauce from the meatballs. For our mains, I had the Capelleti which was really good. My husband chose the Fusilli which he asked for non-al dente. It came al dente. The waiter asked if he wanted to send it back but he declined. We were both very unimpressed by the dish, but he enjoyed my pasta.

My daughters and I enjoyed truly fresh pasta that you can’t get just anywhere. The staff were awesome. They had a covered outdoor space that was very comfortable. The wine list was good. The waiter suggested a wine I hadn’t tried before. I’m not very familiar with Italian white wines. It was perfect! They accommodated us when we wanted to skip the prosciutto in the dish. Obviously entrees are cooked to order! I’ll be back!

Food was absolutely delicious. Cocktails were top notch. We had one small issue with one of our dishes and the management went above and beyond to make up for it. Would absolutely recommend. Thanks for the GREAT food and GREAT service!

We were seated outside, well-sheltered in case of threatening rain. Service was attentive and efficient, (we had a time slot of 7:15 to 9:15p on a busy Saturday night, but we lingered a bit longer and it wasn't an issue at all). My and my companions' food was delicious--the sirloin steak and salmon were both cooked exactly as requested (try the blistered shishito peppers to nibble on while you peruse the menu---sweet, juicy and beautifully blistered.)The chef accommodated my request for a vegetarian pasta and created a 'special' dish that was wonderfully delicious, colorful and bursting with summer flavor. We shared two desserts: A chocolate mousse hazelnut creation that was yummy, and affogato (gelato with expresso poured over it). Excellent dining experiencel once again.

This place has a great ambience! In Little Italy,
• Music
• Had a gin and tonic and service was quick
• Overlooking a park
• Very young trendy crowds
• It is expensive without a view or a valet or special place to look at
best bloody mary of my life.
i had the best bloody mary of my life here. we were waiting to eat at a place a few doors over and decided to start drinking with the time we had. unbelievable. im still chasing a bloody mary as good as that one, which is unlikely.

This is one of our favorite restaurants when annually visiting the Big City. The neighborhood feeling is delightful. The service is always efficient, well paced and cordial. The menu is a wonderful selection of Italian homemade cuisine. The dishes professionally, imaginatively and deliciously prepared. We have visited their sister establishment in Washington, DC which was very good, but without the delightful feel found here on the side streets of Soho

We were recommended this restaurant and it delivered.
We both had items from the set lunch menu which had plenty of choice and I think was around $29 for 2 courses.
The calamari starter was huge and both pasta dishes excellent.
Service good as well - a worthy 5
One of Manhattan's Fine Dining Spots
The cuisine--salads, pasta, fish, and meat--all sampled, all outstanding. Atmosphere is informal yet sophisticated. Service is efficient, friendly. Wide-ranging wine list--from readily affordable to over the top--and knowledgeable sommelier.
