This is the best burger I have ever eaten.
I've eaten a lot of burgers... get the burger people!

Cute spot with good ambience and excellent music. Service was dry, but attentive as I went when it was pretty empty. HH options for drinks are limited with no cocktails included. HH frozen drinks (served in a tiny plastic cup), beers, wines are BOGO free, but upon receiving the bill you'll notice that while the value for the 2nd drink has been deducted, your tax and compulsory service charge (18%) are calculated using the original non-HH bill. I felt a little gamed; I've never seen that trick before, but paid without complaint.

Where do I even begin! If you're looking for a unique dining experience with alternative vibes, look no further than this amazing place. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with an atmosphere that's both eclectic and inviting. The brick walls and Floridian decor make the scene, along with the cozy seating arrangements create such a relaxed and laid-back ambiance. Chef James McNeal PUT HIS WHOLE DAMN FOOT in this menu. Absolutely perfectly curated with a rotating monthly menu! Everything we had was outstanding! Paired with a unique drink selection and a perfect atmosphere with an amazing playlist, what more could you ask for ! MUST TRY!!

A Miami standout, Over Under is one of those spots you could stay all night. Part restaurant, part cocktail bar, part lounge, Over Under is deliciously hip without feeling pretentious, and offers a great antidote for the normal Miami vibes that you may expect. We stopped in for drinks on a weekend night, and found a perfect spot on the bleacher seating in the back to take in the fun, tropical, retro-Florida inspired decor, all set against an eclectic, deep-dive, and vibey soundtrack. We sampled from their inventive and cheeky cocktail menu- a frozen Coquito for her and an absolutely outstanding oyster shell martini for me. It was truly one of the best martinis I've ever had. After finding a seat at the bar, we shared a slice of their gorgeously plated sour orange pie, that was so good it made me wish we had sampled more from their concise but delicious menu. Although this spot was beyond crowded, service from the bartenders was quick and friendly, and we felt very well taken care of. Possibly my favorite spot in all of Miami, Over Under is a must for a low-key party downtown.

During our short trip in Miami, my husband wanted to have a burger somewhere so after a quick Yelp search, we found Over Under. It was perfect since it was close to our hotel. We got there around 730-8PM on a Friday night and was able to snag spots at the bar without an issue. My husband and I ordered: Smoked fish dip - this came with pickled peppers and saltine crackers. I really enjoyed this! The smokiness was so aromatic and flavorful. Add some of the dip to a cracker and top it off with a pepper -- wondrous! Cheeseburger - had cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, thousand island dressing, and fries on the side. Their burger is nice -- well seasoned and had the right amount of the fixings where things don't over shadow each other. My only gripe with it is that the bottom bun did get a big soggy. Sour orange pie - sort of like key lime pie but with orange instead. I wasn't a huge fan of this because the saltine crust was incredibly salty. The salt overwhelmed me to the point where I didn't taste any sweetness or orange flavors. Maybe I'm just not used to these types of crust. We also got two drinks, frozen paloma and I forgot what the other one was called, but both were good. The non frozen drink was strong! Pretty good and would recommend!

Prices are good. Place looks awesome. Quick riddle: What do all of these places have in common? Barber shops, strip Clubs, bars All places you pay cash. Except this place! When I asked, they said they did it during Covid and never changed it. Super weird. Why? I get it makes things easier
Be the first to ReplyBest bar on the block.
Amazing playlist. Good music. AJ and Jared are super accommodating - the best bartenders. Don't skip this place.
Be the first to ReplyJeez this place is perfect.
We were in Miami to meet friends and someone had told us about Over Under. Not too often do you get a perfect menu, amazing food, delicious and balanced drinks, and great service all in a cozy bar atmosphere. Every drink was impeccable. So often drinks are too sweet or too sour, not at Over Under. Our bartender was awesome and fun. Crafting us delicious drinks and making us feel at home. Now the food. The absolute best veggie burger I have ever had. And don't even get me started on the fish dip with fried saltines. End it all on a tipsy note with a mezcal and Montenegro shot. Cheers and please open a spot on the west coast!

You know those places that receive fantastic reviews, and though you add them to your must-try list, somehow, you never manage to visit? Well, that was my experience with Over Under. I'm so happy to share that I finally made my way there this past weekend, and it was truly worth it. The experience was so enjoyable that I even returned the next day to indulge in their food offerings! Situated in the heart of Downtown, right between the age-old jewelry and fabric stores, this spot exudes a sophisticated blend of an elevated dive bar and tiki bar, with a lovely Miami twist. We decided to check them out after being all dressed up with not many plans, when we heard of this live DJ event on Saturday night, and the vibes were nothing short of amazing, featuring old school jams, reasonably priced great drinks, and an overall fantastic atmosphere. The crowd was fun, laid-back, and enjoyable. Our experience was so positive that we decided to give it another go the next day and explore the food options. We tried the pimento cheese dip and the Over Under burger, and we're now obsessed! The cheese dip, while not my personal favorite, would be a hit for those who enjoy it. As for the burger, it was like an elevated and high-quality juicy Big Mac, bursting with flavors in every bite. The service is top-notch, and the overall vibes are my favorite part of it all.

A neat bar with karaoke Wednesdays, daily 2-4-1 happy hour specials, and a solid burger . Nice and chill option in downtown Miami follow me on IG @MiamiCheatDays for more recommendations
Be the first to ReplyAnother racist spot.
This is the first restaurant were they don't accept cash, so the bartender can automatically tip themselves and give you shitty service.

I have been wanting to try this place for sooo long! the food looks delicious. We went on a sunday so they have a special menu where they serve their very popular pizza and other limited items . They opened at 5 and I arrived at 5:30 . I asked the employee if i should get on a wait list or just sit when something becomes available. She just shrugged her shoulders and said yeah, was not very welcoming or informative at all. Luckily we got a seat for two after waiting about 20 minutes. We ordered two cocktails that took about 20 minutes to arrive, but I must say they were delicious. We then ordered a half pepperoni half cheese pie that took 1.5 hours to arrive, so be prepared to wait a very long time. At about an hour into waiting I asked the server if the pizza would take much longer, making it clear I wasn't in a rush but that so I could put a salad in so I could eat it before. She replied: yeah it should come out fast and walked away. You can clearly tell these employees do not give a crap. It would be a good idea to tell people upon greeting them food takes a while so they are prepared. I have no problem waiting, but the employees here make you feel like you're bothering them. To no one's surprise, the salad took long to arrive, about 30 minutes . As for the pizza. I did not like it at all. It Tasted cheap, similar to a frozen pizza you can buy at the grocery store. But people really seem to like it. So this is something you will have to decide on for yourself, for me $30 for this subpar pizza is outrageous. The caesar salad was great. The food on their regular menu they offer on other days of the week looks really good. Id come back to try (especially the burger) but perhaps get take out since the service is so bad. Also, my eyes were burning so bad from smoke coming from the kitchen. Making the experience uncomfortable as well, so maybe sitting outside is a better idea if you decide to come here.
Be the first to ReplyCool place the staff has a serious attitude.
There are a few cool people in there that are nice but the bartenders. Have a big attitude and feel like you were bothering them if you asked for a drink. That's the third time I've been there and the same thing has happened. I will never be going back to this place and I recommend anyone else to not go unless you like getting attitude and bad service.. .
Be the first to ReplyThis place serves some big juicy smash burgers.
I liked that it came with fries. I took off 2 stars because of the location and the price. I know it's not the restaurants fault but it was nearly impossible to get there due to all the street closures. I had to park the car and my sister walked the rest of the way to get there which was a hassle in itself. Also for 2 double Pattie's it came out to $57, which is pricey for some burgers fries included or not. I think they included their own tip which some may or may not like. But it was a delicious burger

I'm disappointed in myself that it took Barstool Sports to get me to try this place as it's right next to another bar I enjoy (although don't visit too often) We checked this place out yesterday at 5 when they open, before the SuperBowl with the hopes it wouldn't be too crowded. It was not yet, but it did look like they had one giant screen set up to view the game, which surprised me as Yelp says they don't have TVs. It's definitely not a sports bar but it does seem they are prepared to show important things when needed. The pizza was phenomenal. We got the vodka sauce pie. It had an extra creaminess but was not too different from a regular slice that I would be disappointed with it if I was craving a plain and simple tomato and cheese pie. The undercarriage was superb, very little flop as promised. There basically is no outer crust though and for that reason, I wished the cheese went to the edge. It did on some slices but not all over. I also tried a cocktail, the julep that had rum in it. It was good, not too sweet, and served in a traditional silver cup, but at 14 dollars I probably wouldn't order a cocktail again the next time I want Fratesi's pizza. I would order one during happy hour though.

Very cute place, nice service and delicious pizza on Sundays!! Would definitely go back and recommend!!

Careful, tips are included and they don't tell you or bring you an itemized receipt. They come to your table with a handheld point of sale terminal and say "your total is ___" and then give you tip options. They should definitely say that the total includes "X" amount of tip. SO sheisty and purposely misleading!
Be the first to ReplyThis was a really nice stop during my trip in Miami.
I visited around 11:30p on Saturday (I did not dine here) and it was pretty packed - they had great DJs playing and the cocktails were good. Although it was busy, our orders were taken fairly quickly. I enjoyed the dance floor setup that included cool benches and a beautiful size disco ball. The quality of the sound in the place was beautiful! They care about sound here.

Our group of four stopped into Over Under for a quick shot and drink. We ordered the drinks with a bartender that from the very beginning was extremely arrogant. There was no "hello", "how are you?" or even a smile. After we received our drinks he informed me that they don't take cash???? Had i known that, i would have left since we came from out of town & were only using cash. The bartender then started arguing with my boyfriend and his manager had to step in. As a bartender myself i'm extremely displeased with the poor treatment we received. Don't waste your money on this place & their mediocre drinks.

Place was nice, atmosphere was great, but the service from Jennifer D (that was the name on the receipt) was horrible! I get sometimes people aren't having a great day, but man, this was worst service I have ever had. Not sure if it was my skin color, or if Jennifer was just having a bad day. Very bad customer service!! We were greeted with eye rolls, foot tapping, and she didn't even bother to bring us an extra cup for our fourth person. Took our order, then asked for our card (which is fine). My gf got there and was looking at the menu, and again with the eye rolls and foot tapping. She then brought our food and drinks (for those of us who were drinking). Worst attitude ever, as she set them down. After bringing our food, we saw her walk by with her purse as she left. Didn't bother to tel us she was leaving or that somebody else was going to help us. Nobody ever showed up after that, so we had to go ask for the check to pay when we were done.Sooo sad, because the place was nice and the karaoke sounded pretty cool. Won't be coming here again or recommending it.

Great downtown happy hour! They had 2 for 1 specials on beer, wine and 2 of the cocktails (free cup and temperature sensitive straw included!), and food specials. The burger was fantastic! Flavorful, juicy perfection. Also loved the chicken sandwich, so tender! Oysters were big and tasty. Loved the placemats like a diner with all the businesses and an artsy picture of the metro mover through a jungle. The staff was friendly and really helpful in deciding what to get. The interior is open, bright and cheerful. Would def go back to try more of the menu, and maybe a brunch!
