Food was superb.
The service was efficient and worked well as a team. The view of the riverside was a nice backdrop. Be sure to ask for a window table if that's what you want. It was not very busy and somehow we got sat 4 tables away from the views. Pre-ordering Moët didn't seem to help. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Seemed an oversight, perhaps not.
Be the first to ReplyGood food with a great view.
A perfect spot for a sunset dinner in the autumn. Minimal wait for a busy spot.
Be the first to ReplyPhenomenal view of the city, great food from fish to steak.
We had great service and highly recommend this restaurant! If it was a little warmer we would've loved to sit outside on the terrace with the view.

First class dining experience with world class views of London. The food didn't disappoint either. Started off with some hand dived scottish scallops amd smoked burrata with pomegranate that melts in your mouth. The monkfish was ok, but the beef filet was tasty. Finished off with mouth-watering banana/chocolate dulcey cremeux.

5Lovely view even though we had an inner table. The server came asking for our order as soon as we sat down. We said we needed a few minutes and she came again twice very quickly. We ordered and got our drinks and food and then we could not find anyone to get us water for a long time. It was very busy but we asked our server for water and he said ok and never returned. Finally we got somebody else's attention and got our water. The chef made a wonderful, delicious quinoa risotto for me and I had the salad with fruit which was nice. The men had mocktails and shared several appetizers and desserts. The portions were small and it was expensive.

High up in the OXO tower with a view of the river Thames, St Paul's cathedral and the rest of the city skyline. Can't get much better view while dining. The out door seating area is on a grass surface area that feels and looks like a lawn. It's fake, chicken proof. Really quite impeccable. The area is covered, so should be ok even if it rains. The dining room has floor to ceiling windows and there is an open style kitchen. My oriental chill drink was quite refreshing. It had lychee and lime juice in it. The yellow split pea soup had some chilli cream in it, this was very good. Comes with chilli oil on top, flavoured with coriander and lime. It's really smooth. I think I might try to make this at home. The shallot miso spelt risotto was so heavy, I almost couldn't finish it. But then I did. It's served with a big cabbage piece in the middle and tahini dressing. Very healthy. My only complaint was food temperature could have been slightly hotter. The pan fried sea bass was perfect. Comes with a cauliflower purée, potato gnocchi, green cabbage and lemon dill dressing. It's a large piece of fish, good quality, skin burnt to perfection. Well worth the price tag. The dark chocolate mouse was a nice way of ending the meal. Nice presentation. White chocolate mint ganache and mint crumbles added. I liked that they had a clearly labelled allergen menu. Heat lamps outside helped, but I wish they would hand out some blankets also.

The OXO Tower Restaurant serves up delightful modern fare with a wonderful view of the Thames and the city. The rooftop-level restaurant has a bright and spacious ambiance with big windows, high ceilings, and lots of white furnishings. Food-wise, I really enjoyed the burrata, the fresh fish, the marmelade cheesecake, and a delicious espresso martini. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall a great place for an uplifting and tasty lunch or dinner with friends or that special someone.
Be the first to ReplyI went to OXO for afternoon tea.
Service was extremely slow, no milk and sugar was provided for the tea, and the scones were rock hard. The finger sandwiches and savouries were not much better and made me queasy. The view from the 8th floor was breathtaking but doesn't nearly outweigh the negatives. If you're a tourist looking for a good place for afternoon tea I would opt for a place like The Wolseley.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and atmosphere with a very nice few as well.
Live music was excellent also. Desserts are a work of art.
Be the first to ReplyI have been wanting to dine here for a long time.
After numerous trips to London, I finally made it and had Afternoon Tea. I came here by myself which is not uncommon for me, solo traveler! I rarely wait for others especially if I want to try a place out or travel somewhere. Having Afternoon Tea at OXO was one of those places. Although I would have loved to been here with my 23 year old daughter! I have been enjoying Afternoon Tea in various countries and US cities for sometime. I've had mediocre ones and spectacular ones. The Afternoon Tea service at OXO is one of those spectacular ones. The various tea selection was nice which included teas from Harvey Nichols. The various courses of sweets, savories and scones were delicious and plentiful. The variety was wonderful! The offerings were both traditional and modern, so good!I especially liked starting off with a champagne cocktail when I arrived. I also got a table by the window which offered nice views of the city and the Thames. Everything combined created a lovely experience.I have now checked off OXO from my list of places to try although this will not be my last time here!

We had reservations on Oxo restaurant but we're late and they put us on Brasserie, it was totally fine. Not sure why we tried to go to the restaurant to begin with. Food was ok and view is great. What was great about this place are the blankets, they provide blankets but wish we could throw some on the food to keep it warm
Be the first to ReplyWe ate here five years ago and loved it.
Tonight's meal did not disappoint. Seated outside with a great view, excellent cocktails and superb service. Our entrees were delicious - the tart, stove bass and a few side items.Loved the desserts as well - lemon tart and the pineapple lemon cake.
Be the first to ReplyWhere do I start.
Security (or the well dressed door guy) escorted us to an elevator where we entered a small lobby with tons of streaming light hanging near a window. The hostess immediately welcomed us and Took my coat immediately. The oxtail soup was amazing. Their wine list was Extensive! I can't remember the name of the Pork meal but it was amazing too!The service was excellent. The views near the window were amazing. If you are celebrating something special of just looking for a reason to dress up, this is the place to visit. It was so beautiful! I was truly impressed. Oh don't forget to make a reservation.

Such a nice experience having "not" afternoon tea! "Not afternoon tea" is a cocktail paired with some sweets. Within our group we tried each menu option: the Rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb, the Hot and sticky, and the Chocolate nutty. Better even than the yummy treats and refreshing cocktails, were the friendly, personable staff and the rooftop view! Definitely will return when we make it back to London next!
