Showed up at 5:30am on a Monday morning to an open counter with only 3 seats taken. Ordered the Boulle-pan which is the perfect mix of the 2 options. I learned that I could order higher than the 10 level which is equivalent to habanero. I asked for a 12 which was great! Enough kick to get my nose running and eyes a bit watery. Apparently there is a Thai lady that brings in her own chili to get to a "30"!The seafood was good. The sauce was the perfect consistency. Having the side of white rice to mix in was fantastic. It may seem odd to have this as breakfast but it was phenomenal. I would do this again in a heartbeat. Staff was very nice. The only issue was that I needed to wait about 20-30 minutes while the chef was setting up the prep for this shift. So be aware of that scenario when coming early.

This one star is not for the food, service or ambience because we did not get that far. Rather it is because when we called the hotel we were told it was walk-in (no reservations) but could not reach the actual restaurant to find out about the wait time and drove all the way there to find out it was a 2-hour wait. I'm sure the food is great (read the reviews!) but there is no way that I'd wait in line for two hours in las vegas for a meal since there's always another option, and most take reservations. We were not aware that the line is actually around the corner so beware of that or suffer the nastiness of another customer who did wait and now feels obliged to dramatically get up from their dining experience to take you on a perp walk to the end of the line. Well, not us because when I saw the line (from which the person at the front yelled out that it was 2 hours long) we immediately left.
😍
Food was phenomenal no wonder this place is worth the wait.
Service was top tier and the gentleman helping us was polite and attentive. Trust me when I say the portions are very nice and you will find yourself wanting to take some to go!!!!
😍
The oysters here and the pan roast are amazing.
Bob is the best in town. I have been going here for years. Every time I go to California to visit my family. They always ask me to buy and take to them.

ambiance --located in the sahara hotel, a bar with limited seats and a LONG hour to two hour wait time. food -- we got the 3 dozen oysters ($24.99 a dozen), clam chowder ($10), seafood jambalaya ($26.99), and and alaskan chowder ($28). overpriced seafood that was NOT FRESH and the workers were aware of it, when we spit out our bad oysters they would try to give us a new one but it was the same. the food was NOT fresh and sent us all into the bathroom with stomachaches and made us throw up. service --the servers were not that helpful or nice and we also heard them talk about how they got another bad batch of oysters but still continued to shuck and serve them.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Oyster Bar in Las Vegas, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The restaurant is located inside the Palace Station Hotel and Casino and has a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The seafood is absolutely fresh and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the oysters, which were some of the best I've ever tasted. The lobster bisque was also incredible and had just the right amount of creaminess and flavor. Additionally, the cioppino is a must-try, as it is loaded with an assortment of fresh seafood that is cooked in a savory tomato-based broth. The staff at The Oyster Bar were also amazing. They were friendly, welcoming, and provided great recommendations for our meal. The service was top-notch, with attentive servers and prompt food delivery. One thing that sets The Oyster Bar apart from other seafood restaurants is the open kitchen concept. You can watch the chefs expertly prepare each dish right in front of you, which is an experience in itself.Overall, The Oyster Bar is a hidden gem in Las Vegas and a must-visit for seafood lovers. The fresh and delicious seafood, cozy atmosphere, and excellent service make it a dining experience that you won't forget.
😍
I would go to Vegas just to try the pan roast.
It's a long line but it is really worth it. The best Oyster Bar in all of Las Vegas!
🤢
I'm only writing this, because I was overcharged.
Angel is a great cook. I've had a wonderful pan roast in the past from him.The reason for the bad review is because I was charged extra for the mussels and clams which is already in the seafood jambalaya dish, because I wanted it to be added in last on top of my jambalaya. For this reason I'm going to boycott this business for a while. The Oysters were pretty big and too much for my liking. Raw oysters taste better smaller. The type of oysters used was okay.
This is always my first stop whenever I arrive in Vegas. It's a must for me every time I go to Vegas because I love their food; my fave is the pan roast. Loved their clam chowder and oysters as well. It's always a long wait whenever I get there, but the wait is worth it.
😍
took my wife here on a Saturday morning.
Arrived around 1030am and already thinking ohh man it's going to be a long wait. I think we lucked out this time because there was only 6 other people in line. I would say the wait was about 30-35 minutes which is nothing. We knew what we wanted already so that saved us some time. We ordered the Caesar salad and the seafood pan roast. We ordered the 7 spicy which was perfect. a nice bit of spice but not too much where it overpowered the food. the both of us barely finished both entrees. I hear stories about there being 2-3 hour wait but the last 2 times we came here no more than 30 minutes
😍
(Gumbo Bar review) Always worth the wait.
ALWAYS! Over the past 10 years this spot never disappoints, never an order incorrect, always quality food that mutha loving delicious. Always a fun experience with the staff and neighbor bar patrons. Ambiance is fun kinda medium loud but not overbearing (it is located in the middle of a casino). Peak eating times, you will wait long, like 2-3 hours long. I have had many visits where there was no wait or little as 20 minutes. Either way, it takes a while ass day to make gumbo so waiting 2-3 hours for a bowl is 100% worth it. Treat yo'self, don't cheat yo'self!THE FOOD:all is good so, get what speaks to you. They are known for the gumbo, but don't get it twisted, the pan roast is hitting! Huge portions, always worth the price. Always taking half of it home. Yes, there are other locations with gumbo, however THIS LOCATION is the original and the best. Yes, they do takeout, however, you still have to stand in line AND it's a 2 entree max. Caesar Salad - traditional dressing with lots of croutons. Hella good. NE Clam Chowder - good. I'd like it creamier, but it satisfies. Hella clams. The Gumbo - theee guuumbooo yo! it is fire! Black persons approved. You can customize it and choose spicy level. I suggest a 7 for those who like heat but still want to enjoy the gumbo flavors. They are NOT shy on the crabmeat and shrimp. It is just freaking delicious y'all. Oyster Shot - good! It does need a dash of Tabasco and salt, but fun fun. I do now want to try their raw oysters. BUT I'll have to be with a big party cause gumbo is a non-negotiable...and waiting in line with 6 people sounds impossible, sooo...
😍

I have stood in line for 3 hours to eat here, it's amazing food and worth the wait. Amazing service and food!
Everytime! There is ALWAYS a line at the oyster bar. Tucked away near downtown Las Vegas at The Palace Station with ample free parking. You must be at least 21 years old to dine in. Oyster bar does not offer take out orders. Dine in customers are allowed to order 1 take out item. The oyster bar is literally a bar that seats no more than 25 guests on the counter height bar. Steamed kettle pots are used to cook the pan roast. Which is the reason I think the pan roast taste sooo amazing. We orders 1/2 dozed freshly shucked oysters and 1/2 dozen of freshly shucked clams. The clams are my fav because I can't seam to find them anywhere else. I come for just the pan roast. There are different options but i always gravitate to the palace station pan roast. It has lobster, blue crab, and shrimp. Sometimes I add in andouille sausage for an added kick. You also get to choose your spice level from 0-10. Just an FYI that 1 is mild. This visit I ordered a 2. Total wait time for this visit was 2 hours and again it's worth the wait! The service from the ladies are great as well and the chef makes great conversation while cooking!
🙂

Despite the hour wait to be seated, I was pleased with my meal and the service at the oyster bar.The house gumbo was my entree of choice and the seafood was plentiful and the dish was very flavorful. I truly have no complaints about the taste, quality or spice level. So if you can deal with eating at a bar in the middle of and casino and don't mind a wait, I recommend that you give The Oyster Bar a try.
😍
Best oyster bar in town.
There is ALWAYS a wait / line but it is worth it. Try the Alaskan clam chowder or their signature dishes. You can't go wrong.

The reviews speak for themselves, this place is worth the hype.Expect long wait times for a small seating area where they cook and prepare all items for you. Spice levels very reasonable, a 5 or so is still a tiny bit milder than Sriracha. One dish is honestly enough to feed two but we always order our own because it's so damn goodPro tip: save the bread they give you to dip in your pan roast!
😍
Although the line was long, but that should also tell you
Although the line was long, but that should also tell you on how good/popular this place maybe. Being that it's inside Palace Station Casino gave me the convenience to play some slots while my 2growb kids saved my space in line which was a good thing for me sneaking off to play one machine, I won enough to pay for our fun night of eats over here!! Once seated @the bar, we got to experience their oyster platter which was gobbled up as fast as it came lol. The service for being so packed was quite good I must say for everything just kept comin timely as we ordered. No complaints from us and so to have a good quick bite & drink, just have the patience in standing in line because once you're in, you'll agree w/me, it's well worth the wait. Oh and since it's in the casino, u can dress up or down for this joint. Come as you are I say. For sure my kids and I will be back because we love oysters and their drink menu is quite satisfying. They've made me a very much satisfied customer. Keep up w/the great service!! smoooches
