Delicious food, extortionately priced
Enjoyable food but, even for London prices, this felt outrageously expensive for what was on offer. A jaw dropping bills
Be the first to ReplyBest Peruvian food in London!
I choose this restaurant because of their nice photos on the website and also the good reviews. It was the best Peruvian food I ever had. We ordered lots of food to share and had the chicharrones, miso aubergines, chicken, miso glazed salmon, Peruvian rice and ceviche. All the food was sensational, prepared to perfection. We completed the lunch with more Pisco sour and burnt cheesecake. The atmosphere was nice and classy, the food absolutely delicious! Chicarrones
Be the first to ReplyLondon's hidden gem
I was on a work trip to London when I visited this place. A client I worked with had recommended it to me, so I decided to try it. In addition to a fantastic atmosphere and very good food, we must praise the service received by a Spanish countryman named Xoel who works there as a waiter. Not only did he advise me to try the excellent eggplant and sea bass ceviche dishes they have here, he was also kind enough to explain the process and the different types of pisco to me, preparing me a pisco sour in the shaker; This being very different from those made in a mixer. Fascinating. The experience of this place has been an unexpected surprise, it is a hidden gem of London that I recommend to everyone. Until next time!
Be the first to ReplyMy experience on the Pachamama
I visited this place a few days ago, while I was going out with a friends' group on holidays for dinner, since it was recomended by a friend of ours. It's a very nice place, very cozy and with a lot of charm! ^^ The start of the show was, surprisingly, the service; a friendly and helpful bartender called Xoel to be precise. He suggested us that the best option was the tasting menu on the bar, and he was right. It was indeed exceptional, the eggplant was wonderful. I can't wait until I have the chance to come again!
Be the first to ReplyI had the aubergine of my life, and I've never felt this way before.
My second visit to Pachamama did not disappoint. It made me want to move to London only because of this restaurant. I am seriously considering leaving my whole life behind just to be able to eat there once a week. It's been MONTHS and I still think about that aubergine... it's making me sad not being there right now. I just ate, but I would be able to make some more room for that aubergine. That ceviche. That lamb. That everything. I close my eyes and I still can feel the flavours, the textures, the smell... I have to stop, or I'll cry. If someone ever reads this, stop hesitating, stop scrolling, stop wondering where to eat; you've found the right place, just book a table and GO.
Be the first to ReplyGreat Food, Service and Venue.
My first visit to Pachamamma and I was well and truly impressed. We opted for small plates however its good to see the portion sizes are really good and the food was amazing. The service was also great and the venue is very well presented. Overall it was a great experience and i'd highly recommend this place.
Be the first to ReplyPerfect spot for a birthday meal
Amazing food and service. Went for my birthday and everything was delicious, special shoutout for the Pork Belly Chicharrone - maybe the best dish we've ever had. Also gave us a free dessert with a candle and card for my birthday, lovely touch. We will be back.
Be the first to ReplyInnovative cuisine with a chef José María who treated us wonderfully and advised us on delicious dishes.
José María is the head chef and we were lucky enough to eat at the bar and he gave us incredible advice, everything was super new and exquisite!!!
Be the first to ReplyA superb birthday celebration with the family
We had visited Pachamama at Marylebone couple of years ago and decided to celebrate wifey’s birthday at their outlet at Shoreditch. They serve Peruvian Chinese food and the lunch set menu was superb. There were veg and vegan options too. The pork belly chicharrones, sweet spicy chicken and caramelised aubergines were just out of the world. The service was excellent too with a nice card and candle for the birthday. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best, most unique meals we've EVER had
We loved this meal! Months later, we are still talking about how we loved every single dish we had here. When you go out to dinner, do you sometimes talk after about which dish was the best? Well, here, everything was our favorite. The sichuan fried chicken, grilled miso salmon, grilled greens, sprouting broccoli, sweet and spicy chicken, cheung fun and the char siu. One dish after another was filled with piping hot items that had a unique combination of flavors that we had never experienced. A wonderful combination of Peruvian and Asian flavors. Our kids and we highly recommend this place. We found it because some local friends recommended it, and we understand why now.

Nice buzzy place ( that can be noisy near a big table) in the heart of Shoreditch . It’s casual but good looking delicious food . The Pisco sours were a tasty start . We chose a couple of pescatarian set menus - good value for £55 each together with 4 other dishes for 3 of us . We ended up with more than we needed and took the quinoa based dish and another veggie one home . Very good cerviche , lovely miso sea bass , and the crispy sticky aubergine was also really good . The pork belly is also too good to miss Staff are very friendly and know their food Well worth a visit
Be the first to ReplyGood food, outstanding service
We have had Peruvian Fusion in Toronto. This was a step beyond that. It was outstanding. The quality of the food and its presentation were amazing. The wait staff were extremely attentive and professional. You need a reservation. Also this place is not cheap but then again name one quality restaurant in London that is.
Be the first to ReplySuperb food
The food in this Peruvian restaurant was intelligent, highly tasty and of high quality. Good service too. Take note of the number in Great Eastern St - the restaurant is easily missed.
Be the first to ReplySo excited (and I just can't hide it!)
I had dinner here way too long ago, and I haven't stopped thinking of the flavours, the textures and the place itself. Whenever someone told me they were going to London and asked me about where to eat, I would slowly whisper 'Pa-cha-ma-ma'. No doubts, no regrets. I mean... who could ever?! I remember I found it by chance because my hotel was nearby, and oh my, oh my. Best coincidence of my life. I am going back to London in a few weeks and have already booked my table. Just can't wait!

We had such a wonderful lunch here! Each and every dish was so delicious. The Pork Belly Chicharrones and the Caramelised Aubergines were out-of-this-world! The Peruvian dark chocolate was very good too. The staff was very friendly and quick! On the whole, it was an amazing experience!

I have visited a few times now and every time the food has been very tasty, fresh and very well presented. A super cool place to eat and have a few drinks. The staff is always great, attentive and great at recommending new plates to try. Great experience!

Nice and cozy location, cool design, really nice quality food and the pisco sour was great. We spend a really nice late evening and the team was professional and friendly.
Be the first to ReplyAubergine!!!!!
Best meal I’ve had in London in a long time- the aubergine is to die for! Cocktails were fantastic and the staff were so friendly but not intrusive. Thank you so much- I will be back!

Be the first to ReplyThe Most Memorable Visit, with the most Special Selection of Staff that made the experience even more enjoyable.
From the minute we entered this place, we were met with the most amazing customer service, and greeted with fluidity and a warmness that feels unique to this restaurant. Penny, and two wonderful waiting staff I was unfortunately unable to grab the names of made the night of our anniversary even more special. If you want great music, even greater food and the most accommodating staff in east london, come here, you will not be disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyTasty food, great atmosphere
I have been here twice already and enjoyed both of my visits. The food is always tasty, the staff is helpful and great at recommending dishes. I love the chill vides and all the plants 🌱 Would definitely recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyGreat tasting menu and portions that are made for sharing
You won’t leave Pachamama East hungry - not only is the food well prepared and full of flavour, but the portions are very generous. If you’re someone who likes the idea of sharing dishes but finds there is never enough to satisfy, this is the place for you. We had the pescatarian tasting menu (fantastic range of standard options means dietary requirements are met without having to make special requests) and we enjoyed all the dishes we had. A special mention must go to the caramelised aubergine with yoghurt, which is amazingly moreish - a mountain of crispy, chewy on-the-outside and soft inside cubes that mix sweet and savoury flavours perfectly. I will be returning just for those. We had a fish dish that was pretty much the same idea, which was still very good but not quite as good as the aubergine option. Ceviches and prawn toast also gorgeous. The ambience is relaxed and the service good. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic food and service!
Visited with some work colleagues/clients, as a group of 4. Started off with some excellent cocktails and really useful information from the waiter about how to order so that I (the vegetarian) and the rest of the table who wanted non-veg too could combine on the tasting menus. I’m usually in the situation where I have to go a la carte and be envious of the group I am with as they have the variety of a tasting menu. On this visit (I’ve been many times before), we had 2* tasting menu and 2* vegetarian menu with an extra chicken dish as our waiter ensured us there’d be plenty of food for everyone to be satisfied - and he wasn’t wrong! My personal favourites were the caramelised aubergine, quinoa chaufan (which I think was replacing the Chinese cabbage salad from the menu - it wasn’t mentioned, we didn’t realise and it was superb, so not an issue!) and the cheung fun…. oh and maybe the broccoli too. Basically I find it hard to point only to one dish as my favourite. As a tasting menu it was superb. My colleagues absolutely raved about the pork belly chicharrones! Thanks PM-East. I’ll definitely be back. And I’m pretty sure my clients / colleague will be too.

Great food and excellent service, portion sized Chinese Peruvian fusion food. Amazing ambience and we got a table facing the road to people watch and feel the breeze.
Be the first to ReplyStaff and food absolutely top notch
Staff in restaurant from east were incredible dealing with some really difficult other customers just dealt with everyone’s request amazingly. Sat on table 68 by the door on a lovely warm evening and the two waiters who served us were phenomenal. Had the taster veggie menu and it was honestly some of the best curated dishes in north London. Couldn’t recommend highly enough
