Great food but portion sizes have been significantly reduced and prices increased.
I have been many times and love the food but this time the portions were so tiny that having paid £300 for 4 people (with minimal drinks) we left hungry and disappointed . I love the Black cod which I have had before but at more than £30 the actual piece of cod was only two small mouthfuls. What was clear to me is that in the 6 months since I last went there the prices have gone up quite bit and the portion size reduced very significantly.
Unusual food, very nice ambience.
Great food, lovely atmosphere. Lots of unusual fusion flavours. Recommend the whole sea bass (and we liked the tiger milk sauce).
Worth the journey, go in a party of 4+ so that you can try lots of different dishes.
Delicious food - we were a party of six so we could taste many different dishes. We didn't go for the tasting menu so that we could choose what we wanted and get more than one of a dish that everyone was keen on. It's hard to single out a particular dish but the fish ceviches went down well ad most of the snacks. Some of the party struggled to find the restaurant (it has two entrances at either end of the restaurant but one was closed) but once we were there it was well worth it Recommended
Fantastic food
Love love loved the tasting menu - would recommend to everyone. Absolutely delicious. The dessert is to die for. Will be back again!!
Worth visiting for the pisco sours alone!
Dear Peter, I had been looking in vain for a restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. Every restaurant I found sounded great, until I read the reviews. Then I came across Pachamama. The menu ticked all the boxes for us, but it was your response to reviews which led me to book with you. So full of warmth and humour. Our meal with you was amazing and given we love pisco sours anyway, we made sure we tried them on our visit too. Maybe we had more than one. Maybe that's why I cannot now remember our waiter's name, but he was excellent: very knowledgeable, great recommendations and very patient. We are excited to see what quote you leave for us. Here is one for you! Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. Mother Teresa
Poor customer service all around
Really disappointing, heard great things about the food, unfortunately the pace at which dishes came out made this a difficult tasting menu experience to keep up with. Visited on 17 Feb. Within 5-10 minutes four of the tasting menu dishes were slapped onto the table. Within no time, clearly seeing we are not finished with the initial courses, the final 3 main course dishes are brought to the table, at this point we've barely had time to finish the initial set of dishes. I politely asked the waiter whether they could hold off on serving the remaining dishes till we've finished with what's on the table. Unfortunately, within 5 minutes he returns saying the next 3 dishes are getting cold and he has to serve them now... He then proceeds to remove the dishes we haven't finished to make space for the new ones (which are absolutely bone cold/dry at this point, and thoroughly unenjoyable). Maybe my expectations are high but I would expect the establishment would hold off and re-serve fresh plates of food once the customer is ready to consume them, especially once the issue is highlighted. There is barely space on the table at this point. In the interests of not making a scene I didn't complain further, but makes things worse as the ceviche is just sitting there, making the fish stringy. Maybe it was an off day but I was left disappointed in the experience, I'm sure if I had a chance to sample the food whilst it was fresh my opinion would change, as the flavours were vibrant. Edit: left this review on other platforms and they promised to reach out via email and make things right, I've emailed them twice and received no reply, it has been two months. Disappointing service and clearly being disingenuous in their replies to improve the experience for the customer, do not recommend.
A hidden gem in Marylebone
From the initial warm greeting, to the attentive nature of staff, to the food it was stupendous. Loving our food, we booked for somewhere ‘different’ for our wedding anniversary. An unassuming single door entrance off Thayer St leads down to a wonderful atmospheric dining area and bar. The staff were fantastic - keen to help and explain the dishes as well as giving their thoughts on what went with what. As I had mentioned our anniversary we were offered a free glass of bubbles - lovely touch - but even better when they didn’t bat an eyelid when I asked for a pisco sour instead - which has got to be the go to drink to kick off the evening - awesome ! The food was delicious - we went a la carte and had a couple of the snack plates, followed by four choices of main dishes including the Bluefin tuna special. The stand out dish was the salt and pepper pork ribs - unbelievable flavour and meat fell off bone. Would thoroughly recommend to couples and families alike. Will be back to sit at the bar and have a couple of snack plates, before bringing my two grown up boys to enjoy the experience.
Shagar was great
Shagar was the best waiter ever. Was really accommodating and thoughtful with complementary cheesecake for mine and my friend’s celebrations. He was very attentive.
Incredible Gem in Marylebone
Absolutely incredible! Some of the best Peruvian I have had. Service was impeccable and the vibes are good. 10/10! Please get the Pork Chiccarones
Phenomenal
VEGAN TASTING MENU What an explosion of taste fluidly delivered with unobtrusive waiting staff. Dishes appeared by magic. The tofu was spectacular as was aubergine. Cocktails out of this world, seriously. One potentially major point - Some sloppiness regarding the dessert. Delayed and one dipping sauce full of dairy, only upon our questioning was this unearthed. This could have have serious issues with other diners and whilst vegan we aren't allergic (something we weren't asked about which seems now customary at all restaurants...perhaps I declared it as such at the table booking). We will be back for food and drinks.
Rennies required
Too expensive for what it is - true of most London restaurants. Went to try something different, didn’t enjoy the tasting menu - overall too acidic and sharp, the food is like their Sour. Glad I tried a Peruvian restaurant, but unfortunately it will be the last.
Intimate and tasty!
A really cosy intimate restaurant with an interesting menu. Really enjoyed the ambience. Waiter service wasn’t the best when trying to find out what was gluten free, but that was the only downside.
Peruvian Treat
Great staff and service. Nice laid back atmosphere for either a group of friends or couple. Peruvian inspired food, nicely different from other options. Loved chocolate dessert. Would certainly recommend.
A last minute lunch stop success story.
I will be dreaming of the chicharrones for the rest of time.
Fantastic food and service
Absolutely love everything about this restaurant and food! Very friendly staff that can help give the best recommendations and the food is exceptional! I’ve been back several times and it never dissapoints. Highly recommend the octopus and duck on rice.

Ive waited a week for my reservation to get a name transfer, and the dinner is for tomorrow. Unfortunately, there’s no one to tell because no one has started working on it yet.
