Awesome food, great ambience, excellent service.
And great value. Will keep going back for sure
Be the first to ReplyHorrible food for the price.
High volume restaurant that is in a strip mall with overpriced clothing stores. Staff and managers are very sterile and fast paced and appear to be worried about everything; it must be easy to get fired here if you make a mistake. Very rushed service, French fries, sandwiches etc. everything one could get at a deli or a franchise restaurant like Chili's or Bennigans. Unless you want to throw money away, I'd skip and go spend where the service isn't neurotically fast and food quality is average and extremely over priced.

We had this reservation made for weeks and were really looking forward to it, as we are HUGE lovers of your sister restaurant HILLSTONE in winter park. We arrived right at 6:00 for our reservation, we did not get sat until 6:18. So, we waited 18 minutes with a reservation. We ordered as soon as our waitress came over, she was very polite and sweet. We got the rosemary bread as our app and it was delicious just as it is at Houston's. For our meals we both got prime rib. It arrived quickly but then we had to wait an odd amount of time for the horseradish sauce we asked for. ( by the time she brought it, my husband was almost half way done already). We order prime rib anytime a steak house offers it, and unfortunately this was one of the worst prime ribs we've ever had. There was barely any flavor, we were both very disappointed. I had to ask for my water to be refilled and had to remind the waitress about my husbands drink order that still had not arrived. No one brought over the special fry salt that they normally bring. Once we finished we sat there for almost 15 minutes before someone came to clear the plates or ask if we wanted dessert. Honestly, the service was awful - she was sweet and smiley but when comparing the service to hillstone/ they blow palm beach grille OUT OF THE WATER. The ambiance is dark and crowded. When waiting for your table you are asked to stand by the bar with a bunch of other people who are all being smushed and bumped into. ( they do have valet parking ) We will not return to palm beach grille.
Be the first to ReplyFood was amazing.
However amazing comes with a price. Great atmosphere and service I will diffidently return.
Be the first to ReplyOne of our go to places in Palm Beach.
The ribs are excellent as well as the fillet. You can never go wrong with either lots of energy and a fun spot for dinner.
Be the first to ReplyHave eaten here several times.
Good food and ambiance. Often must wait even if you have a reservation, but worth it.
Be the first to ReplyOne of the best properties in the Hillstone portfolio.
The GM and the entire management team keeps this place in top working order while maintaining all of the Hillstone element brands. Food is a 10. Atmosphere is 10. Service 100. The family feeling you get when you walk in this place is unparalleled. Forget the stuffiness of Palm Brach proper and do yourself a favor and come spend a night at The Grill and enjoy.

it's so consistent with the Hillstone brand. The hotdog is amazing and I don't even like hotdogs. The service was excellent. The food was on point and the management is doing everything right. Highly recommend

Can recommend only for the weird hot dog and people-watching. Otherwise overrated. Now here's an extra sentence to get this review up to Yelp's character requirement.
Be the first to ReplyI've been in the hospitality industry for 15 years and I
I've been in the hospitality industry for 15 years and I was astounded by the way the staff and management treated my friend and I at The Palm Beach Grill! Such a disappointment, when you look forward to having a great dinner and accompanied with high standards of service, that at the end I was dumbfounded by the way the manager spoke to us! Not only did it ruin my dinner my birthday as well!

Don't slip & fall on the greasy floor between the open kitchen & the tables! And don't expect the staff to care! I fell so hard my leg & hip were bruised along with a giant bump when I smacked my head. The person seating us put the menus down & walked off, no acknowledgment and no apologies. My friend was on the floor trying to help me and kept asking all through dinner if I was ok. Nothing from the staff. When I called the next day after seeing all my bruises, only to say "they should be careful there are older people dining there that could be permanently affected with a shattered hip". Again no apologies. Next thing I know I have a nasty abusive lawyer calling me and I call that harassment! Never going back!!
Be the first to Replythe Hillstone group is at an all time low, all restaurants
the Hillstone group is at an all time low, all restaurants have been at a steady decline for years. extremely poor management and arbitrary rules that change and are enforced at random. Palm beach grill takes no exception to that. Also the only restaurant part of the group that covers the table in paper (WEIRD) where am I macaroni grill? Only good part is the food is okay, but it's consistently okay thats the only positive. I have absolutely no idea how the PBG specifically makes any money. Pre-pandemic hillstone was amazing. no more charm, no more class.
Be the first to ReplyWhile I would always give this resto top marks, it is a PB
While I would always give this resto top marks, it is a PB icon, our dinner there last Thursday was a comedy of errors. Our server, either too busy, too unhappy or just plane brutal delivered the bill to us long before we finished our meal, too way too long to bring things to us and had order errors. Yes, PBG churns them out but bringing us the bill before we could even contemplate dessert - bad form.
Be the first to ReplyI love the food here! It's always consistent for the most
I love the food here! It's always consistent for the most part. It can get kind of loud and very busy specially during season. But it's always worth it! Reservations are scarce but they are usually a must or else you might get turned away or you may have to wait for a while. My favorite things are the oysters and their salads are amazing. Also, their shrimp Cajun style is to die for. I also used to love their Sunday but now it doesn't have candy pecans so it's not as delicious but it's still worth it. One of my staples and favorite go to restaurants for a scrumptious meal.

This is a Hillstone restaurant, they are top notch, beautiful locations, and excellent menus. I was looking forward to this dinner with friends, but it didn't turn out too well for me. First the waitress brought us two appetizers we didn't request, we felt badly, so we kept one but returned the other. And then for our main meal, everybody was very happy with their selection, steak, broccolini, fries, and I ordered shrimp creole with rice. I've ordered shrimp, creole many times, and it looked fantastic, however, when I tasted it, I realized it had cream. I happen to be lactose intolerant. The menu did not say that it had any milk ingredient. I asked the waitress who checked with the kitchen and, indeed, it had milk. The bit that I ate affected me terribly. I thought ordering a focaccia would help my stomach, but it turns out that their focaccia is just three big pieces of bread served with a couple of almonds, a few olives, and a slice of white cheese. I really wanted it to be a great dining experience. I think it was just my bad luck, but I'm going to suggest you check the ingredients if you have any type of allergy. In many restaurants they'll ask you ahead of time to make sure you don't order something that could make you sick. The restaurant is beautiful, the servers are very polite, I hope you have a better experience than me.
Be the first to ReplyVery good food.
The prices are out of control. The front desk is uppity. This place is not Saint Ambrose....get control of the prices
Be the first to ReplyEVERYTHING is good at Palm Beach Grill.
You can't go wrong. My husband who hates salmon LOVED their salmon that was cooked to perfection. Great string fries. And the red snapper in zydeco sauce was delicious! Little shrimp accompaniments. Yum. Focaccia bread? Divine. Get yourself a reservation!

Be the first to ReplyFrom all Palm Beach restaurants this place has the best
From all Palm Beach restaurants this place has the best food, speaking of quality and preparation. Ambiance is great and comfortable that after long day at work I feel comfortable enough to come here alone to have a good dinner and glass of a good wine. This place along with good food has a great wine selection so yes, definitely best place on PB county.
Be the first to ReplyI used to love eating here but it's almost as if they are
I used to love eating here but it's almost as if they are under new management or something - they seem much less customer service oriented than before. They don't allow dogs and most places in PB do, so that's annoying. The last time I was there I ordered steak and it was overdone. They did absolutely nothing about it. They also brought the wrong salad to my friend, forgot to bring the right one, and charged her for it anyway - even rudely arguing with her about it. Unbelievable. Their standards of staff and food seemed to have declined, as well. No one was particularly impressed with any aspect the last few times we have gone. I want to keep giving them more chances, but I'm not sure what they have done to deserve that. There are so many amazing places in PB ... it seems this one has been passed by in terms of quality and customer service.
Be the first to ReplyI had gone there for dinner yesterday with friends as it
I had gone there for dinner yesterday with friends as it was my husband'a birthday. The hostess promised to make a note of it and present us with a piece of cake and a birthday candle. This was done at the time of making the reservation. When we arrived there, we were asked to wait until our guests arrived despite having no place to sit . After standing for a while. My husband spoke to one of the managers who found our table and allowed us to sit harping on the fact that he was going us a favor. The cocktail that we wanted was not on the menu but unlike many other restaurants they were not willing to mix and match. There food was good and the service was good as well . The trump card however, is neither candle nor cake arrived as promised and I forgot to ask . High end ? You decide !
Be the first to ReplyFabulous experience at Palm Beach Grill, a "made-for-Palm
Fabulous experience at Palm Beach Grill, a "made-for-Palm Beach" concept by Hillstone Group, also known for its Houstons, Honor Bar, and Hillstone brands. This group, and PBG are no exception, executes across all brands exceptionally well. Indeed, all brands are essentially the same restaurant, with nuanced differences with various geographic touches indigenous to their respective geographic areas. Our server and her assistants were right on top of things with exceptional and exceptionally generous cocktails. PBG was very crowded, as are all the best places in PB, a little loud for my taste, but not so loud that good conversation couldn't be had. Ambiance was warm and inviting, and location easy to get to in a shopping center with both self- and valet-park options. The menu is fantastic--something for everyone, including seafood, fish, beef, poultry, and vegetarian options on the menu. The chef will customize for just about any reasonable request, which is nice, as we took advantage by creating our own dish that wasn't on the menu. I enjoyed a deliciously unique "Caesar" salad (wasn't really a traditional Caesar salad--good!) and 3 boiled jumbo shrimp on the side served ice cold and done to perfection. My party of four shared a delicious slice of key lime pie that was simply over the top. Super experience all the way around. As I said, Hillstone executes extremely consistently no matter which concept you visit, and PBG was certainly no exception!

Here's whyEasy to make reservations for table for 6?Yes Easy to park? Yes. And the young men manning the valet literally ran to car doors to help us! WITH OPEN UMBRELLAS due to rain. Welcome at desk for check in? Wow it was just like visiting family after not seeing them for a long time. Meet up with your party and then to our table?Of course! And, Lovely gals welcoming us and letting us all know it would be just a few moments...and it was. Waiter ( Vasilios) promptly at table to say hi and get drinks and or appetizer orders? Yes. And with warm attitude. Loved it. The rest is all the story of great dinner with old friends served by good staff and topped off with one birthday Icecream sundae to share. The managers on duty , Sydney and Ashley , each came by our table. briefly and professionally to make sure we were happy. That happens, like never in other places....These days when you go out anywhere ,you want a lovely time, yummy food and quality for your money. This place has all that. Enjoy!

Get the hot dog! Seriously great atmosphere and excellent service. Florida charm galore
Be the first to ReplyMemory is a tricky thing.
Did not go during the Covid era, recently went back and immediately remembered why I was saying "no": Reservations are simply not respected. There's no system to warn you about a delay or to allow you to walk outside and be texted when the late table is finally ready. Oh no, it's all on you. You're forced to wait in a tiny alcove, jammed in with the other dozen people similarly disrespected. There's no room at the bar, forget getting a drink, there's no telling how long it will take for your reservation to be honored. They keep their cutlery/napkin roll-ups in a cabinet in the tiny waiting area, so you'll be shuffled around at random times. Then there's a bum rush to get you to vacate the table as quickly as possible. Don't pause with that plate or someone will snatch it away from you. The food is OK. The menu NEVER changes. The fries are always a little too salty, the snapper always tastes a little fishy (old). The consistency is BORING. It's a nice restaurant overall, but nothing special and I don't need the stress. Charge me for the reservation and respect it- and don't rush me - asking me if "I'm done with that" when I still have a fork in my hand isn't service, it's harassment. The entire experience is eclipsed by getting take-out at Souvlaki Grill and eating at home as far as I'm concerned.
