π 4/5 - Outstanding Filipino Asian/fusion food

Incredibly inventive takes on classic Philippines food. Here w group that was half Filipino, they thought this may well be the best restaurant of serving this food in the world. Got to sample a half-dozen items from the apps and the mains, all were over-the-top great. The 4 rating rather than 5 is because of the wine list. Very well curated thoughtful selections, over the top. But, next to nothing available below $200-400/bottle, top end was $11,800 (not a typo). So, very uncomfortable dealing with their somm looking for something, when I picked a bottom end price point--$80 per bottle pinot grigio--he actually rolled his eyes at me! Please, Pao, don't revamp most of the list, and don't start selling mass market stuff, but get some wines at price points more appropriate to the food.
