Aren't DMV Appointments non-transferrable?

While it's true that appointments are technically not transferable, for DMV Appointments the transfer service is included for buyers at no cost. The transfer team has both - the sellers and the buyers dmv information, so it can cancel the sellers appointment and then rebook under the buyers name. The menu is varied, the food is fantastic and the staff is first rate. It's also one of the warmest, most inviting places to eat anywhere. Reservations are usually a must as there's a large loyal customer base that returns frequently and tables are hard to come by. Debbie, Anthony and staff treat you like family when you dine. An absolute gem and highly recommended.

Had a phenomenal lunch with my mom after going to a funeral at Calverton. Service was lovely. Lots of ladies who lunch! Bread was great with a buttery artichoke spread... I think. We both ate off the specials menu. I had a filet sandwich and she had a salad with shrimp. Appetizer for 2 was sooooo good. Calamari was awesome. Dessert was the deconstructed cannoli which was delightful and light! So good!!!! Sorry I did not think to take any pics.

Pasta Pasta has been (an amazing) staple to the Port Jefferson community for years. I believe my first visit was for my 9th birthday dinner! I have been here with family, friends, coworkers on many occasions and the service is always friendly, prompt, knoweldgable and accomodating. Their food is delicious, and their complementary bread is exceptional. They have a wide variety of pasta dishes and entrees that would work for any dietary restriciton and lovely to any palatte. The last time I was there, someone in my party has celiac disease and they were incredibly helpful, accomadating and reassuring. They clearly understood the condition and the precautions needed to keep their customers safe. I was very impressed by that, and by the kindness they showed in the process. The atmosphere is both beautiful and fun. The decor itself is both understated and illumiating. They play a lot of fun throwback music that all generations seem to really enjoy and the volume of it is perfect. You can hear it and enjoy without having to shout over it. Before posting my review, I scrolled through and saw some really obnoxiously negative reviews. As a person who has been here many times throughout my childhood and young adulthood, I truly have no idea what those reviews are talking about. It's a lovely place with friendly and knowedgable staff, consistently enjoyable food that is priced competitively for the area. TLDR; Come here for a reliably delicious meal, semi-casual and fun atmosphere and exceptional prompt service.

This is a casual atmosphere restaurant with even more casual food. the majority of dishes were amateur & "safe" very under-seasoned lacking even salt! The pizza is same quality as a frozen box pizza. A child could compose it. the calamari is of poor quality. Truthfully i believe it was defrosted cuttlefish. the absence of the tentacles is a red flag. The staff is a bit rude. certainly not over the top accommodating. For the area i suppose this is the best that can be expected. first & last time

Love the little waiting nook - not to many waiting areas exist anymore. The staff is really lovely and attentive. Ordered the fried mozzarella and filet mignon with mashed potatoes and spinach and everything came out delicious. Also ordered a little champagne which was also tasty and hit the spot. The decor is pretty intimate and romantic - so a good date night option.

We have dined at Pasta Pasta several times over the past year or so, and with good reason—the food is always consistently excellent while being reasonably priced, the staff is always helpful and attentive, and we enjoy the intimate atmosphere. This time, there was a lobster bisque special that was so outrageous; never had such a delicious bisque with a healthy amount of meat. Other dishes we love to have are the stuffed baked clams, the calamari, the ravioli parmigiana, the pappardelle bolognese, and the black ravioli with lobster. Believe it or not, we look forward to the bread too, which is coated in some sort of seasoned butter. I have never eaten at a place where every part of the meal could be the star, including the bread. Wild. This place does not disappoint!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

Best Answer It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Best Answer Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.

Best Answer Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.

Best Answer Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

What happens if my bid expires unanswered?

Best Answer Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
