Pelican's Bar & Grill Cocoa Beach Reviews from The Last Year
Great food and service for your whole family
The food was amazing and the service was even better. My wife got the firecracker shrimp tacos and I had the grouper sandwich. Both were delicious! Also, the homemade tartar sauce with your seafood (and your fries 🤷🏻 ♂️) was on point! Our kids enjoyed their kids meals as well. Lastly, our server, Harnes was the best server we had during our entire stay at Cocoa Beach. You’ll be happy you ate at Pier 62!
Good Food Good Service
My nephew and I visited this restaurant the night before my cruise. The atmosphere and view was wonderful. Being on the ocean is how I like to spend my time away from work. And to enjoy a good meal with drinks on the ocean made the experience that much better. I enjoyed one of the best burgers I've ever had with calamari. The customer service was also very good. I will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.
Canadians make sure to bring your PASSPORT?!
Canadians don’t waste your time!!! Myself (28) and my partner (33) came down to Cocoa Beach for a long weekend getaway for the May long weekend. We were SO excited to go to the pier. Hoping to have a drink, watch the rocket launch and then watch the hockey game (ehhh). We spent money on an Uber ride to get here to then find out I couldn’t order an alcoholic drink because I didn’t bring my passport!!! I offered her my valid government officiated drivers license, health card and credit card all issued in my name but that wasn’t enough. Who would expect someone to carry around their passport, especially to a bar?!?! If I could rate this a 0 I would. The reasoning was that the owner takes things very seriously and spends 2 million dollars on their liquor license. Therefore they do not accept foreign IDs and only passports. So now we are stuck walking back to try to find somewhere to eat and have wasted our time and money. Disgusted.
A real good time
there are pleanty of food and drink choices and reasonable prices for the location. Be prepared that if windy...umbrellas not opened. Great servers.
Come for views not food
Visited the Cocoa Beach Pier and decided to eat at Pier 62 after walking around a bit. I ordered the blackened chicken with french fries. The blackened chicken was okay. The chicken was good but it didn't have a lot of seasoning. The french fries were great. They were potato wedges. The main reason to go here is the views. I dont think I've ever seen better views from a pier restaurant
Waste of money
The hostess was rude but our waitress Tori was great. The fried shrimp didn’t taste fresh, the gator didn’t taste like gator and the calamari was overcooked.
Never again
Not at all impressed. 1st off the fee to park now. Was free. 2nd is the selection of food was much better with the old restaurants. And 3rd EXPENSIVE. No more going from the beach for some wings or fish and chips. Will not be back. 4th food was nowhere near the quality for the price you pay. 5th staff is very rude.
Best lobster roll ever!
A friend and I traveled to Florida for a girl's trip, all I wanted on this trip was a fresh lobster roll. The New England Lobster Roll from pier 62 did not disappoint! My only complaint is that it could have been bigger! A lot of places add mayo, and extras to the lobster rolls, I loved that this was fresh lobster poached in butter and nothing else! Highly recommend!
Amazing Waiter!
AMAZING SERVICE! We went as a family and our baby (1) was getting a bit fussy (missed nap). The waiter brought out a little bowl of fries before our dinner was ready so she would have something to nibble on! Clean restaurant and delicious food!
Too expensive, average at best.
We stopped today for lunch. Had the crab cake sandwich and a drink each. Paying $20 to park made this an extremely expensive, below average lunch. We would not recommend this place to anyone. There should be some means to have parking refunded if you're eating at the restaurant.
Definitely average
We read reviews and saw alot of reviews said it was average. After paying $20 to park next to the pier, we wanted to hang up there a while and decided to give it a shot. It was very windy but still enjoyed eating on the dock. Our server was great, food and drinks came quick, even though it looked like they had to take a walk to get it to us. We ordered a california roll, which was a little warm for my taste and only had low sodium soy sauce available...i like my salt. When our food got to us, my crab cake sandwhich was good, and my husbands jerk chicken bowl was cold. At best we agreed that it is indeed average, and learned my lesson today.

Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.

Can come from a lot of places, people who don't want to get charged their cancellation fee or people who just have them and cant go.

almost all restaurants aren't affiliated with AT and I'm guessing it's mostly people wanting to not pay cancellation fees.

Reservations could be posted for a variety of reasons. Most likely, the person who secured the reservation can no longer attend - to avoid accruing a "no show" fee, they can find someone to take their place.
