Peter Luger Steak House Brooklyn Reviews from The Last Year
Had a lovely meal at Peter Luger this evening.
Mike took great care of us and helped us navigate the menu... (newbies!) Loved the wedge, crab cake, steak for two and mushrooms! His advice was so helpful! Thanks Mike! The cheesecake with schlag was the perfect ending!

The food quality and service are exceptional- always a perfect 10/10. Our go-to order includes Canadian bacon, tomatoes with onions, creamed spinach, and the porterhouse, and it never fails to impress. Despite trying several steakhouses in the city, this remains our absolute favorite!!!
This steakhouse is amazing.
As with any other restaurants, they would cook your steak according to your preference. We ordered medium well, which I realized medium would've been better because medium well gets drier on the plate. We ordered sauce on the side, so it kind of solved the problem. The creamed spinach is amazing. I didn't like the bread so much, and the potatoes are just average. Our server was friendly and very attentive, always checked on us. The place is big but is always packed. The noise is average. If you're lucky, you can spot a celebrity during your stay. In our case, we saw Kenan Thompson. Reservation is highly recommended unless you're prepared to wait long. Even with reservation, we still waited a few minutes. Remember, they only accept cash, debit cards, or Peter Luger card. Be prepared to pay at least $200 per couple.

We dined at Peter Luger on July 18th, and it's a return
We dined at Peter Luger on July 18th, and it's a return visit 8 years in the making. My first visit to this great dining experience was back in late October of 2106; it left such a positive impression that when my wife asked me what I wanted to do during our 2024 return visit to NYC; my immediate answer was simply, "Peter Luger." My wife asked what else, I responded, "As long as we done at Peter Lugers; nothing else." My wife granted my wish and it was better than I remembered! We had steak for two, chopped wedge salad, tomato and onions (with Peter Luger sauce, different and good!), sautéed spinach and german potatoes. We finished with chocolate mousse cake and key line pie, everything was simply amazing! Tasty, flavorful and every bite a true delight. Service is fast and friendly and the positive energy and lively atmosphere definitely helped complete the evening. The table beside us had a well known local and frequently had other guests stopping by to express their respect and friendship! He was dining with his daughter to celebrate her birthday. We dined at Peter Luger to celebrate my birthday as many others seemed to be as well. A very memorable dining experience, that I hope we can repeat more frequently than once every eight years!
My husband and I came here for a day date.
We were able to make a reservation online easily. The restaurant itself was very busy and we were early so we had a couple drinks at the bar which was really nice. We ordered the steak for two, fried German potatoes, and an apple strudel. All of the food was really delicious and we really loved the steak. We would definitely return to this location to dine again!
I think I expected more than what it is.
The steak was very good, as well as their salads, sides just OK, key lime pie on par, the service solid, but the atmosphere wasn't anything special.
Great steak!

Best Steak House in the World
Peter Luger is very easily the best steak I've had anywhere in the world. I grew up in NYC, and have been going there with my family for decades. It has been consistently spectacular. I was in NYC with my partner last week and took him there for a special dinner. He was wondering if it could live up to the hype and was very happily surprised that it did. The steak for 2 was superb as always. We ordered the creamed spinach as a side, and finished by sharing the apple strudel. As I mentioned to our waiter, the strudel is *almost* as good as the steak. Peter Luger is a very old school, traditional steak house, and they know exactly what they're doing. If you want the best possible steak there is nowhere else to go. I will be back whenever I'm in NYC.
It was the best steak ever I ever had.
The service was excellent! I had a great celebration of our 8 years wedding anniversary with my husband. I loved this restaurant! Will come back again. My husband really enjoyed biting the rib eye bones.

Couldn't wait to put my chops into one of these highly recommended steaks. Mine was a porterhouse, seasoned with just a light dusting of accent and garlic salt. Seared each side in butter, then lowered the temp to finish to a medium-med rare. I rested it while I cooked my steak fries. I'm very sad to express my disappointment. No definitive beef flavor profile. All the flavor came from the seasoning. Strip side was very tough. Had to use my A-1 to finish the filet, glad-bagged the largest portion to cut up for the dog. Our local Texas Roadhouse beats this by a country mile.

We decided to spend the 4th of July cooking postpartum Chinese delights for friends who had recently had babies. So to reward ourselves for our good deeds (and because we were in the area anyway to drop off the food), we decided to splurge on an early dinner at Peter Luger. Don't ask me why. I'm not even really into meat and never planned to come here for as long as I lived here. It just seemed like a very American, very NYC thing to do, and the timing was right: at 4pm, there was no wait for a table. We started with the Caesar Salad, which was fine, and the famous Luger's Sizzling Bacon, which was perfect for three people. I should've just thrown in the towel then, but we then got the Steak for Three with sides of Creamed Spinach and Mushrooms. All were as salty, greasy and tasty as I would expect any American steakhouse to be, but nothing more. My beloved ones insisted on getting Apple Strudel for dessert (because they have cavernous stomachs that I don't), so I watched them demolish that--okay, I had a small nibble and it seemed decent. Why the 2 stars? Good grief, the prices! Whenever I've paid that much for steak, I've at least had more than an "Eh" reaction. I get that I'm paying for history and blabbity blah blah, but even history shouldn't cost this much (or at least taste better). Def a one and done.
This place is iconic and world renowned.
I'm not a big fan of NYC steak, considering I've had steak in Osaka, Brazil, Argentina, Texas, etc so I think it will always pale in comparison to those places. However, if you're looking for good steak and great service in a vintage place, this is it. Every time I have friends and family come visit me in NYC, they want to try this place because they've heard of it and I'm always game to go. When you enter, there's a bar there to wait for your table to be ready. The service here is top notch. It's not the type of service where they make you feel rich. It's the type of service where they treat you like family, which I absolutely love. We were seated promptly when the party arrived and the place was super busy. We came during lunch time. I'm jumping straight into the main course review as I know why everyone is here to get. We ordered the Steak for 4. The steak is dry aged about 25 days or so, tossed into an oven to be cooked medium rare, and then basted in butter. They brought out the steak while it was still sizzling. I thought it tasted pretty good. If you look from my photos, you can see the middle portion is pretty rare with a solid outside crust. But you can see the grey band from crust to center. I think this takes away from the best potential steak of a really good cut of beef possible. Reverse sear would solve this problem, but their methods are part of their identity for 130+ years, so they aren't going to modernize to maximize a better taste. That's really unfortunate. At this point, you're coming for the nostalgia of it. We ordered the luger burger. Guys, this is the BEST BURGER I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. It was just beef and bun and that was it. It was completely juicy and perfectly season. Cooked to perfection for a medium rare without the grey band you get from their steak. It literally melts in your mouth. I made a noise once it touched my tongue. Obviously, you're using very expensive cuts of beef, grinded in-house, to achieve this, so you wouldn't usually get this type of burger anywhere else. Ordered a sliced bacon, which I thought was ok. It's too thick. Salads are ginormous. Nothing to write home about. Creamed spinach was amazing. The service was top tier. I felt like a mob boss during prohibition.
Steak is good place is bad
Only 4 star because: 1. They only take CASH AND DEBIT CARD 2. Tight spacing between tables 3. Tight bathroom and smells terrible. Needs constant maintenance due to the number of people dining. 4. Wait time is long even on off-peak hours 5. Pretty pricey for the quality over quantity of steak but it’s good tasting though 6. Rustic vibes and dinnerwares are outdated and small 7. Parking is one block away but walkable. 8. Service is fair in our experience. I have not seen a high chairs.
A great steak
Yeah, well, people can say whatever they like. My cousin I went with says his pal can cook a steak as good on his grill. He’s an idiot. Peter Luger has it down. Cast iron pan, 1400 degree broiler, prime porterhouse flashed on one side. It is a great steak. And a reasonable value, btw. $120 each with a wedge, potatoes, and a couple of excellent manhattans. No complaints. Just don’t go with a cheapskate or someone who isn’t a real steak lover.
Good $70 Steak. Not a well Maintained establishment.
The steak was good but the place was poorly maintained and the service was not good. We had a young server and Older servers were coming by to refill our waters. He was not attentive and will not speak to us. Very expensive for a poor atmosphere and cleanest.

Dinner at Peter Luger is always mandatory when Wifey & I are in town!!! Steak for 2 came out perfectly cooked, medium rare. Creamed spinach and baked potato for our sides, and an order of sliced bacon. Everything was delicious!! We've been dining here since 2011. Never disappoints!! Order a Negroni or 2 at the bar while you wait for your table!!

Amazing food!! We got the steak for 3 and lamb chops as entrees and spinach, German potatoes as sides and bacon and Iceberg salad as appetizers. Amazing amazing and did I say amazing!
Too expensive for the average and even above average diner.
I watched two women neat 90 who want to share a birthday dinner at PL b'klyn b/c they are "from there" and "never dined there". When they saw the price for a steak for two they had to bail out. Wow. A whole lifetime and these fine ladies can't afford to dine and a place that rests on its laurels.
Overrated these day.
But a must if visiting NY. For repeating customers just now that the unfortunately quality has changed.
Stepping into Peter Luger Steakhouse in New York feels like
Stepping into Peter Luger Steakhouse in New York feels like entering a chapter of culinary history. This legendary spot, with its wood-paneled walls and classic vibe, doesn't just serve food; it serves up an experience. The star of the show, undoubtedly, is the steak. Each bite of their dry-aged beef, cooked to perfection, is a symphony of flavors, rich and satisfying in a way that few other places can match. The meat's crust is perfectly charred, sealing in the juiciness and tenderness that Peter Luger is famed for. But it's not just about the steak. The sides, from the thick-cut bacon appetizer to the creamed spinach and the German-style potatoes, all complement the main dish, enhancing the overall dining experience. And then there's the service - old-school, attentive but not overbearing, adding to the charm that makes Peter Luger a must-visit destination. In the end, dining at Peter Luger is more than just a meal; it's a nod to the enduring legacy of New York's steakhouse culture. It's a reminder of the city's rich, multifaceted identity, served up one delicious steak at a time. Whether you're a lifelong New Yorker or a visitor looking to taste the heart of the city, Peter Luger offers a quintessential slice of New York's gastronomic excellence.
The vibe in this place was uplifting.
Yes, there were a lot of uppity people but they were happy, drinking and laughing. Our waiter oversold us on the size of the steak we ordered and we had a lot leftover. No problem; we got back to the hotel, put in the Subzero freezer and brought it back to LA and finished it here.

My husband was here in 90s when it still possible to get a table and didn't have to make a reservation ahead for month. The steakhouses were 138 years old now and surprisingly this is my first time here. Somehow my husband was able to get a reservation and we had our anniversary dinner at the restaurant. We were a bit early, so we just hung out at the bar first. Then when our table is ready the call us. We share everything so we had a piece of Bacon and one crab cake. Steak for two and side of mushroom. End with Apple Strudel and Mango Sorbet. Steak cooked just right, and everything is perfect for the taste of food even no fancy food garnish. Old style of food and service was great. We got a table next to the window and the coincident was the private bank across the street were the place we had pre-wedding pictures. Mostly, I'm not so impress when I go to touristy places in New York but only few places are amazing including Peter Luger. Most important thing you need to carry to this restaurant is CASH! or you can pay by debit card.

I took my family here to celebrate my dad's birthday and we had a stellar time! We had a reservation for lunch at 1PM and got seated upon arrival even though we were 15 mins early. The dining room aesthetic stayed true to Peter Luger's reputation as a classic, top of the line steakhouse. The decor was classy, but the dress code was relaxed. Quite a number of people were wearing sneakers and jeans. After some bread and butter to whet our appetites, we ordered with gusto. We ordered two of the Steak for Two, a side of Creamed Spinach, Luger's Sizzling Bacon, and French Fries. This was an excessive amount of food for 4 people but we had no regrets. The bacon was incredible. It was so fatty and delicious, and vanished in bites between the four of us. We almost ordered another but there was still so much food to come. Both the medium rare and medium steaks were cooked to perfection. Each bite oozed juices and the meat melted in the mouth. The creamed spinach was yummy and my mom loved the french fries. They were thick cut, crispy, addictive morsels. Between the four of us, we only managed to finish 75% of the food even with my dad's impressive appetite helping. We took our time and ate to our satisfaction. The waiter packed up everything securely for us upon request and even gave us extra chocolate coins. We loved dining here and wouldn't hesitate to come back for a special occasion.
Simply the best steak I've ever had in my lifetime.
I was sad that I couldn't finish it all. For me, this place measured up the the hype. It's a must-visit destination for true steak lovers. I will go back!
We finally had the opportunity to eat at Peter Lugar and it
We finally had the opportunity to eat at Peter Lugar and it did not disappoint. My husband has been talking about this place for years. Since we had a NYC trip planned I knew we had to make it happen. I made a late lunch reservation and we made the trek from the Upper West Side. The steak was cooked perfectly and the creamed spinach and potatoes were the perfect sides. We added a couple of strips of bacon just for fun and OMG was it delicious. A bottle of wine rounded out our meal. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. The restaurant has a very old school vibe that is not pretentious or snooty. The focus is on the meat. I highly recommend PL
Great meal and good service.
Despite the service, I wasn't too happy with them throwing out my leftover bag of steak that I left behind. I came right back, too, but it was already chucked. It wouldn't be a big deal if it was some chicken, but at $147 for steak for two and $282 total bill, it's money well spent going into the garbage.
Historic and fantastic steak at Peter Burger Steak House in Brooklyn
A friend recommended a historic steakhouse established in 1887, just four years after the Brooklyn Bridge opened in 1883. Today, we decided to try it out, sharing a single steak, the Luger burger (a lunchtime exclusive), and some spinach. Surprisingly, the restaurant was about 90% full, even though it was a regular weekday! Impressed, my friend mentioned he plans to bring his father-in-law from California here. Our meal, including three shared dishes and tax, cost around USD 121 before tips.
A superb meal, with superb service. We WILL go back!
Peter Lugar has been on my SOMEDAY list for at least 30 years. I'd heard good things about it, and on many trips to NYC (always Mid-town) it just seemed to be too far to go. We were in Williamsburg in February, so suddenly Peter Luger's was only a simple Uber away. I'd delighted that we went. This was a combined Birthday - Valentines Day dinner (not on the 14th, I'll add), we showed up at about 6 WITHOUT reservations and the line thru the door made me thing Oh Dear, I've goofed. No, I did not goof. We were seated within minutes and every aspect from then till we paid the bill and left was as perfect as a restaurant meal can be. We ordered the wedge salad, jumbo shrimp, German fried potatoes, creamed spinach and steak for two. (we were hungry when we arrived). We each had a cocktail too. Our server was helpful and attentive, but every person working there was attentive; if anyone was walking by and saw a partially full glass of water, we were refiled almost instantly. I can't remember better service at any restaurant anywhere! During the meal, I casually and quietly mentioned, when he was carving the porterhouse, "give her all the best pieces, it's her birthday". Note that the strip-steak side of the cut was superb too, and it is my favored cut; the tenderloin was even better. We were stuffed, (you saw what we ordered) and could not finish the steak. When I asked for a doggie bag, I mentioned "we really are taking the leftovers to friends who have a dog". When our doggie bags arrived, there was our remainder, and a bag "full of bones from the kitchen". Reuben the Dog thought he'd died and gone to heaven! When asked about dessert, we had to decline. (see "stuffed" above) Our server and many of the staff came out with a big bowl of Shlag (takes me back to Vienna) with a candle in it, and sang Happy Birthday! Did I mention BEST SERVICE? Peter Luger's is every bit as good, nay, BETTER than, any description I'd ever heard. DO make a reservation, though.
S h I y t of a place
S h ! T of a place, they say they only take debit cards from USA. Increíble that they say because the debit card is not from USA they can’t accept it . visa and Mastercard, take notice
One of the best
Coming our whole lives and still enjoying the atmosphere. Still a top steakhouse. The hamburgers are still one of the best around.
Schlag
My partner and I came for his birthday! I want to reiterate that it is much better to come with a reservation as the wait for a table during the weekend can be quite long, and reservations tend to go quickly. The bacon is barely smokey and a great texture to chew, but can be a bit oily. The steak for two is perfectly portioned and is served at the perfect temperature to eat, and you can even take the bone back with you upon request! We also had an apple strudel to share, which our waiter thoughtfully cut in half for us. The homemade schlag is also quite good - thicker in appearance than regular whipped cream, it retains all the same flavor while giving a unique aftertaste once you swallow. My partner liked it so much he ended up drowning his half of the strudel in it. The strudel itself is delightfully caramelized on top, giving it a great crunch to contrast with the softness of the interior. A bit pricey all in all but a wonderful meal regardless.
Excellent Lunch
Fantastic lunch in an iconic steakhouse! The food was fantastic, a particular mention for the excellent burger which is only available on the lunch menu. Very professional & friendly service too!
Amazing!
I had known of Peter Luger for many years, but hadn't had a chance to visit the restaurant until this past summer. We came here on a weekday evening and it was busy, but we were able to be seated quickly. Our service was impeccable and our waiter was great from start to finish. We had a glass of wine and beer to start and it paired well with the complimentary bread (3 choices to choose from). Our porterhouse steak (steak for two) was absolutely amazing and was one of the best steaks we have ever had. We also loved the key lime pie with schlag and the schlag had such a great tasty and texture. It's a cash or debit only place, so plan accordingly, but it's a wonderful restaurant and it's so much fun to experience a bit of old New York.
SO SO.... Bottom of my list of places we ate at in NYC for a week.
Thank you for your time to read this. We went to dinner, had reservations at 8:45pm on 1/7/2024. #1 - Was seated about that time. #2 - Waiter came by, dropped off the menus and walked away. #3 - Waiter came back a few minutes later, asked what we wanted to drink and what did we want to order to eat...... (just the beginning of rushing our evening) #4 - Ordered drinks, told waiter that we were not ready to order meals yet (first time here) #5 - He came back, just a few minutes later without drinks and asked again if we were ready to order our meal...... Asked to give us a couple of more minutes..... He went and got our drinks and brought them to us.... #6 - We went ahead and ordered our appetizers and meal.... (we had probably been seated all of 5 minutes) #7 - They brought out our appetizers and meal all at the same time... Probably 5 minutes after we ordered..... (just feeling more rushed....) #8 - Appetizers were ok, steaks were so-so. #9 - Halfway through the meal, they brought the check...... #10 - Have had much better steaks for 1/2 the price. Have had much better service at places for 1/2 the price. Have had much better enjoyment of the meal and experience at other places for 1/2 the price...... My rating would have been much higher if the service would have been more relaxed.... Because, I knew what the price point was for this place. Spend good money, expect a good experience..... Sometimes, I feel I am treated better at a McDonalds than here. I won't even go down the road with my personal ability to put our a steak that people will never forget..... (we won 17th in the world at a Steak Cookoff Competition) We ate at nice restaurants across NYC/Brooklyn for our time there. This was bottom on the list.... Lesson learned.......
Fantastic food - terribly dull & poor waiter service
I saw the restaurant on a Netflix program and looked like a fun place to go with great service, food and atmosphere. Well 1 out of 3 isn't bad I suppose. The food was really very good, steaks were as recommended the best I've had for a while. However the atmosphere was so dull it nearly put me to sleep and the top it all off the Waiter we had his name began with D, was exceptionally rude. It was like we were doing him / them a favour. When we paid the bill which was not cheap we left a tip respective of our service - well that was it. When when we asked for a copy of the receipt he didn't even turn around he just handed it to us. Not even a thankyou, a good bye or a wink of an eye, his back was facing us. Never again no matter how good the food was.
Careful, Icarus
Steak and Fries would be my death row meal, so I thought what better occasion to pop my Peter Luger cherry than the beginning of my 28th trip around the sun. We could die any day, really. Everybody and their momma talks about Peter Luger. When you speak steak, you speak Peter Luger. It is the 4th most reviewed restaurant in NYC, and the most reviewed steakhouse. All this to say, I went in with high expectations, but how could I not? My 3 homies and I arrived at 8:15 for our res, but of course our big homie was 5 min late. You can't really chirp big bro lol y'all know how that is ahahah. I hadn't worn a suit in a MINUTE, so I thought I would throw one on as I felt this upscale Steakhouse called for it. I felt like Conor McGregor walking into T-Mobile Arena, or Frank Lucas at the Ali vs Frazier boxing match... but I wasn't wearing Chinchilla so I guess not ahahaha. When I entered, I immediately noticed 2 things: 1) I was WAY overdressed. Patrons in here were in hoodies and just plain T-shirts. Idk, this is probably a me thing or a factor of the times but I thought people would be DRIPPIN in here. Not even a little bit of a dress code? Idk I might just be trippin. 2) It was BRIGHT in here. I was expecting a dimly lit setting, but that was not the caseI felt way too seen. The menu is simple and straightforward, which you don't really see anymore so I loved that. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Thick Bacon, Porterhouse for 2, Rib Steak for 2, Fries, German Potatoes, and the Cream Spinach. At these prices, I was expecting to have a fun rapport with the server. Okay maybe a rapport is expecting too much, but at least a welcoming energy. He honestly could not have been more disinterested in us. The only time he seemed interested was when I asked for the check ahahaha bro pulled that thing out of his shirt pocket so quick and just stood there while I fished for my debit card. In contrast to the service, the food was fantastic. Everything from the bread to the bacon to the german potatoes to the steak was delicious. The porterhouse was the standout, as it came on a piping hot slanted plate and was perfectly charred on the outside with a beautiful red to pink interior. However, my jaw didn't drop. At a place with the reputation Peter Luger has, I desperately wanted my jaw to connect with the floor. But it just didn't. I have had better steak, and definitely better service, in the city. Off the top of my head Keens, Gallaghers, and Wolfgangs come to mind. Damn did you know Wolfgang Zwiener used to be a waiter here. The student really became the master... But I get it. They have such a big name that they don't even have to earn business anymore. Why put in the extra effort when customers will still come in no matter the service they provide. The crown is heavy. Maybe it's just a me thing. Expectations are the root of all heartache, and mine walking in were as exorbitant as the prices here. However, cracks in the foundation are beginning to show. That dude wrote the NYT article back in 2019 absolutely ripping them. They lost their Michelin star in 2022. The story of Icarus comes to mind, when he ignored Daedalus’s instructions not to fly too close to the sun, causing the beeswax in his wings to melt, and he fell from the sky as a result. Okay I'm getting dramatic now ahahahaha. 3.5 stars so will give 3 here and 4 on google. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
