Fine Dining in Las Vegas at its Best
This place did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in and see the incredible decor, to the fabulous plate settings and menus. And the service made it over the top. We did the wine pairing prix fixe menu. Each course was fantastic. All 4 of us ordered slightly different pairings, so we had the opportunity to sample a little bit of everything. Our primary server, sommelier, and food servers were excellent and spent the time needed so we could soak in what we ordered. On top of that, we had a birthday in the party. And even that detail was covered with a candle on the ordered dessert. You definitely get what you pay for. And Picasso was worth every bit.

This is a difficult review to write, but we must consider this as a high end fine dining restaurant. Overall we enjoyed it very much. We received a good welcome from the front desk and were shown to our seats. They checked what our time constraints were, which was very thoughtful. The food was always good and generous but only the oysters were truly excellent. The wine was very reasonably priced for fine dining. The service was excellent, as it should be, although unusually they don't place the plates on the table at the same time but served my wife first and then me. Not a negative, just not what we are used to at a restaurant like this. So what kept this from being the full 5 for us? Firstly although the restaurant was fairly empty they seated all of us in one area. That may be convenient for them but it meant we were seated next to a couple of businessmen on a different kind of evening. Secondly the crispy gnocchi and fallow deer weren't particularly memorable. I realise taste is subjective, but so are reviews!
Be the first to ReplyThe Ideal Restaurant for Romance or Business
We have made the Picasso a mainstay for our visits to Las Vegas. The food, service and ambiance are well worth the price. It is an upscale Restaurant, so be prepared to pay the price for such a selection. However, the price is certainly worth the visit. It is among the very select upscale Restaurants within the Vegas Strip area.
Be the first to ReplyOur favorite special occasion restaurant. Heck, any occasion.
One of our favorite special occasion restaurants in Vegas. Normally just the two of us, but we had 9 people this time. Incredible views of the Bellagio fountains. Service, food and atmosphere could not be better! Notable wine list as well.
Be the first to ReplyExceeded our Expectations
We decided to celebrate a friends birthday here. It all started with a friendly greeting as we entered and were shown to our table. As soon as we sat down the fountains went off and we knew we were in for something special. We were able to watch the fountains all evening as they go off at regular intervals. George was our waiter and he was absolutely awesome. He was attentive but never overbearing. We never felt rushed as we were there three and a half hours (our pace) allowing us savor to each course and relax and talk between them. George brought us our cocktails that were created as they were originally meant to be, Side Cars and a Paloma. We enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu, choosing each course. For the first course we ordered the Potage of carrot and ginger soup with king crab, the warm quail salad and the poached oysters. No one was disappointed and all would order them again. For the second course we ordered the Foie Gras and Crispy gnocchi with crab, (which was not crispy as the broth made it soft but still enjoyable). Our entrees were the Roasted Pigeon and the Medallion of fallow deer. They were truly wonderful dishes. We ordered wine by the bottle and be prepared to pay about $250 for a nice wine, though you can spend up to $10,000 if you wish. For dessert we all ordered the Grand Mariner Soufflé which was decadent. Our birthday celebrant had a ribbon of chocolate that said Happy Birthday with hers. We each had a glass of the German Beerenauslese to go with our soufflé. All of us were so very pleased we chose this restaurant and as we left we were each given a box with a brick of Picasso chocolate to enjoy for later. This is not an inexpensive restaurant as the Prix Fixe menu is $155 per person. Dinner, drinks, tax and tip came to about $1,200 for the three of us. Money well spent.
Be the first to ReplyA disappointing experience from the very start on arriving at this restaurant
This was disappointing right from the start. The online booking said to include a photo so you would be recognised and GREETED by staff when you arrived. Did NOT happen and instead the person on the front desk went to great lengths to remind me of the minimum spend required instead - in front of my wife whose birthday it was !! Totally and utterly crass Picasso staff - you need to go back to and repeat guest servicing course 101 !! We met and indeed greatly exceeded the stated dress code ! The service by some staff was excellent and from others we were obviously an interruption to their day. Given the cost and required payment - in advance - to get guaranteed patio seating have to say my expectations were nowhere near met and the declared super service and attention stated on their website was not achieved either. By way of example when our mains were served my wife's was placed in front of me and vica versa - again NOT what you would expect at a fine dining restaurant. That said the food itself was very good.

Dined here due to a friend’s recommendation. We were helped by Richard and Jose. The ambiance was my favorite. To experience the water fountain show every few minutes while feeling the light breeze on my face. At the same time, enjoying the degustations of the many courses offered by the chef. The largest foie gras fillet we have ever had. We dined for 3.5 hours and appreciated every minute. It was also nice to be able to order additional portions of the diff courses we liked. Jose and Richard’s attentiveness were excellent and we are so appreciative of the experience. Overall, $575 for dinner and gratuity…worth it!
Be the first to ReplyPicasso in a plate, refinement at its best!
Magnificent food and ambiance. The service was highly competent and quick. The scenery is so exquisite that the meal presentation blends well with the Menu Degustation. The quality of the products transpires even before it hits your palate, the Salade de Crabe is perfect, the crab does it all. The scallop is perfectly cooked but if you want it a bit longer than "snacked" as we called it in France, just ask your server and it will be cooked to perfection. The Sirloin melted in my mouth with a delicious sauce bringing the experience to near orgasmic levels (food of course). The cherry on the cake comes around desert. The Soufflé is just beyond words, so light and tasty that it could be followed by the Fondant au Chocolat without any problem...so that's what we did. If there is a full voyage for your gustative senses there, your eyes will experience sophistication, Picasso drawings and paintings and best of all, people are dressed as to fit in such a place: jackets, gowns, nice dresses, ties, but thank the confirmation text message, shorts, T-shirts and flip flops are just for the beach. This place is for people who enjoy luxury in a plate, refinement in a place and style in life.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful on all fronts.
Food was incredible. I tried some new things and was not disappointed. Service was top class, friendly and professional. Sat on terrace though was chilly and all comfort needs were taken care of. View of the fountain was spectacular.
Be the first to ReplyLovely food, drinks and views
This was a very pleasurable evening. Spent about 2 hours enjoying the food, drinks and views. If you go request a seat to watch the fountain. You basically have 3 dinner type choices. They are all prod fix settings with various number of courses where you can choose your main entree. We did the 4 and 5 course selections. The lobster bisque is good not the best, a little on the spicy side. The scallop was fantastic. The filet mignon was OK a little chewy but good. The crab salad was very good. The foie gras was very good. The branzino was very good. Desserts were a little disappointing. I would not recommend the apple dish. The signature dessert is good, not great. The service was excellent. I had a wine pairing with my courses and the selections were excellent. The price was expected $88 for 3 wines. The cocktail selection is very good. We even had a mock tail which was delicious. You’re going to drop about $450-500 for two but the experience is great.
Be the first to ReplyPicasso is no longer what is was before COVID….
Picasso is no longer how it used to be before COVID started… The tables are so close together to maximize the number of guests that all conversations can be heard from the next table. The food was good, except for the soufflé: in order to prepare the soufflé in less than 10 min, they now replaced the classic ingredients with lower quality and cornstarch! Terrible experience for the price you pay ! Very disappointing
Be the first to Reply60th Birthday
Went there last night for my special birthday 1st bottle of Bollinger tasted strange they replaced it, still not good but it's my birthday starter quail good then foie gras good their head waiter came over when we complained about Bollinger, was very loud tasting it saying nothing was wrong it was awful but he was wrong. Had Veal Chop cut into it was raw I tried to eat it no t able too, The waitress did take it off we left the champagne I did try hard to drink it it had obviously been stored wrong or something ANYWAY OVER 500 DOLLARS FOR A NOT GOOD NIGHT AND RUINED BIRTHDAY
Be the first to ReplySo disappointing
We were so looking forward to this and it was disappointing. Service and ambiance were top shelf. Food was average. This is a price fix menu at $150 per plate. Our bill with 1 drink each was $500. For this price point, the food should be amazing and it wasn’t. My app quail warm salad was not a salad. The quail was greasy and lacked imagination. The elements were on the plate but there was nothing to tie the flavors together. My husband’s filet was flavorless and not seasoned. My main course of deer tasted like chicken livers. While beautiful plating, dishes fell flat. We are foodies and this was disappointing. Space and service was beautiful.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic dinner
We travelled to Vegas-San Francisco and Napa for a gastronomic journey and our first stop was Picasso in The Bellagio Hotel. With some view of the fountains, we had a fabulous 3 set dinner and elegant service. From start to finish we really enjoyed our dinner. I think Picasso would have turned in his grave, however, as about 80 percent of the customers (of which the majority were Asians) were on their telephone device texting and following their social media. Of course, not their fault but I would suggest to disconnect the WIFI. We shall certainly be back for a lovely dinner.
Be the first to ReplyBest poached lobster ever
Fantastic wine selection with knowledgeable sommelier. The staff were always on point. The lobster was one of the best we have had, do try it!
Be the first to Replywent there for anniversary wonderful
Great place to enjoy fine dinning. This place has everything from amazing cocktails , wonderful wine list, And service that never fails to balance attention with giving their guests time to enjoy the meal.
Be the first to ReplyMeal with a view
Like all the high-end restaurants at Bellagio, this one also faces the fountains and pretty much every table has a good view. We did the degustation menu with premium wine pairing and couldn’t have asked for better. Nothing was lacking in food, wine or atmosphere. I would highly recommend, specifically for couples.
Be the first to ReplyWorth of 1 Star Michelin Even Without The Picassos
I have wanted to go to this restaurant for so many years. Pre Covid, they had many original Picasso paintings. So you can tell my disappointment when I got there and there were no Picassos on the wall. The waiter told me that they had sold them all during the pandemic (I read they raised over $100 million) but now there are photographs on Picasso on the wall. Anyways, the restaurant itself is very high end. If you sit outside on the patio, you have a front seat to the Bellagio Water Fountains. We went outside after our meal to view it and the view is spectacular. They have 2 set menus and I actually think it is quite reasonable pricing particularly since it is a one star Michelin restaurant. The scallops, foie gras and beef were all exceptional. They have a killer wine list that again is really quite well priced. Definitely deserves a Michelin star if not two. See my full review on my Youtube channel.
Be the first to ReplyQuite an experience
This is quite an experience!!! It’s the day of thanksgiving, and the place was packed. We have made the reservation earlier, but they told us we had to wait. No until I protected that we have other engagement later, they found a table for us. The food was decent and presentation was pretty. I love the sea bass fried to perfection and desert was really good.
Be the first to ReplyMemorable anniversary dinner!!!
We had an amazing anniversary celebration at Picasso! We made our reservation well in advance and were given a choice of terrace or indoor seating. We chose the terrace so we could enjoy the Bellagio fountains along with our meal. Despite the crisp Fall air, there were plenty of heaters to keep us warm. We did the Prix Fixe menu with the regular wine pairing and chose different dishes so we could sample more of the menu. All of the dishes were very good with the quail salad and the tuna carpaccio being our favorites. The service was lovely and attentive without making us feel rushed. Overall, one of our most memorable dining experiences in 24 years of marriage.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible evening
Absolutely beautiful food and wine. Perfect service from Roger, we sat inside by the window to dine, but by the time it came to dessert the outside area was free so we asked if you could sit outside for dessert, Roger and team reset a table outdoors for us and we got to sit outside for dessert and watch the fountains close up it was amazing! Thank you!! Also, as someone who doesn't eat red meat, they were so accommodating in changing the menu for me.

This 2 Michelin star, Spanish & French cuisine where every detail just makes you feel in heaven!! This is and always be the spotlight in Vegas!
Be the first to ReplyExquisite
We had a wonderful experience! We decided to do the sommelier pairing with our meal and it made all the difference. In doing this, we received more information and were able to zone in on specific flavor qualities of both the meals and the wines. Everything we ordered was exquisite. The outdoor seating is beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend dining here.
Be the first to ReplyExpensive and Not brilliant
We ate here as a last night celebration and although I’d read some negative reviews, I wanted to give it a chance. There were some nice touches; a box to leave with, beautiful flower arrangements and the waiter taking us to the balcony to view the fountains. Other than that, the whole experience was quite disappointing. My main complaint was simply that I did not think the food was great. My main course was frankly bland, under salted and some of it uneaten. My dessert was burnt and at no point was I asked why I had left clearly uneaten food. We have eaten in a lot of lovely restaurants around the world, and this was by far the most expensive and most disappointing. I would absolutely recommend le cirque instead of this place.
Be the first to ReplyNot very nice, but very expensive.
On our trip to Las Vegas for my wife’s 40th Birthday we had pre-booked Picasso as her special birthday meal. The good: We were staying at the Bellagio and as we were hungry and a little tired, thought we’d ask if we could eat a little earlier than our reservation and the restaurant accommodated us, also giving us a great table on the balcony where we could view the fountains. Service was incredibly fast and due to it being quite cold and windy, our waiter brought out a number of shawls/blankets for my wife. They also gave my wife an extra dessert with a Happy Birthday message. The bad The food was as expensive as 2 Michelin star in the UK and the bill exceeded a meal we had at Le Manoir previously and for a lot less food. This wouldn’t deserve the review score alone however, which is due to the food just not being very good. Nothing had any flavour and the entire tasting menu was bland. My main (steak) had no seasoning at all. Bread rolls were hard as was the butter served with it. The matching wines were all between forgettable and undrinkable and were more akin to what you’d get at a works Christmas party. Particularly bad was the red served with my steak which the sommelier claimed to be from Chateuneuf but then flashed a bottle in front of me that was not chateuneuf label I had seen before. It was claimed that this had been opened for 24 hours to breathe, but it was undrinkable and vinegary. Absolutely nothing was said to us as to why my main course was uneaten and wine undrunk. It was just taken away as the dessert was brought out. Normally with a tasting menu, wines are expertly paired and both the food and wine are heightened by being together. Often there is a standout wine I will take a note of to drink again. This has been my experience at le manoire (where one wine was a very strange, salty wine, which wasn’t nice by itself but did work with the course it accompanied), Knockinaam Lodge, Holbrook Ghyll, Salt and both Windows and La Chappelle by Galvin. Which should all be fair comparisons to Picasso. After dessert we were quickly presented with a bill and then all serving staff seemed to disappear. I would have complained at the time but wasn’t given an opportunity. So as we were staying at the hotel, I thought I’d message them and hopefully speak with someone later or the next day. My feedback however went unanswered . And the restaurant was closed on the Sunday, so I spoke with the Bellagio front desk (there is no phone number for the restaurant and you need to go via the Bellagio switchboard ). Bellagio front desk was helpful, gave us a small room credit for the one uneaten course and said the restaurant would contact me. Taking my email address again just in case. Two months later and still no contact. In short: Not very good food, not very nice wine, and a $700 dinner for two for the 5 course tasting menu with wine. Avoid.
