Slightly disappointed with the lasagna but everything was decent! Pizza was my favorite part of the meal and soup was pretty good too
Be the first to ReplyI gave it five stars because it deserves more then four.
I usually grade based on a price to Quality ratio and the neighborhood competition. It's a small restaurant hiding now under scaffolding. My wife had the special meatball's appetizer and I had the Branzino, we shared a broccoli rabe appetizer. My wife loved the meatballs and the branzino was the best I've ever had. It was moist and tender, I usually don't order branzino, but this was cooked in parchment paper. Fantastic.

My review is very specific as I don't eat gluten or dairy but had a delicious gluten free pizza with veggies and sauce here. They seated us quickly and service was good and we got to our show on time. My only complaint was my friend got the pizza special and only when we saw the bill did we realize we hadn't asked what the special would cost and it was way more expensive than the other pizzas. Our mistake!
Be the first to ReplyNice, low key, accommodating and considerate service.
Pizzas, calzone and pastas all carefully prepares, tasty and with excellent ingredients.

The pizza seemed a little floppy, might be the dough they use. The rest of our food was very good.
Be the first to ReplyWow, best pizza in NY.
Tastes just like you're in Italy. We got the margarita with olives and the artichoke salad, followed by an affogato. Highly recommend for a low key meal.

Ok what is happening This used to be my go to Last time I was there with 5 other people and the food was not to its usual goodness . The burrata looked sloppy . The calamari were ok and the pizza was good The salmon was way overcooked even though I asked for it rare twice! Half of the pasta dishes were cold . The desserts were ok .

I've been gluten free for 10 years (not by choice) and this is the best GF pizza I've had ever. Would 100% recommend this great restaurant with great food. I'm telling all of my GF friends to make a pilgrimage to this place!

Went there on a frigid NYC evening and the place was almost empty, yet they didn't have any available tables except the two terrible ones downstairs by the door. Asked the hostess if we could sit upstairs and she went up to ask the manager or whoever the man was upstairs and he said no we don't have any room and that they were saving those tables for reservations. We looked online as we were standing there and there were plenty of tables/reservations every fifteen minutes. Terrible way to treat potential customers.
Be the first to ReplyPizzArte was highly recommended by my coworker and it
PizzArte was highly recommended by my coworker and it definitely did not disappoint. The hostess was really nice - She let us check out the 2nd floor before we decided on where we wanted to sit. My coworker and I shared the burrata and truffle pizza, and I ordered a minestrone on the side too. +Burrata 4/5: Burrata was fine with lots of halved cherry tomatoes. The sliced bread is not great though. It was extremely hard and stale, and difficult to chew on. + Minestrone 5/5: I definitely needed something hot and soupy on a cold night. There were so much diced vegetables inside the soup! It was hearty, but still healthy. + Truffle pizza 5/5: We upgraded to real truffle and it was awesome. The server brought over a full truffle and shaved it in front of us. One of the best truffle pizza I've ever had. Absolutely delightful - The crust was soft and chewy, and the melted cheese and truffly flavor was *chef's kiss* Overall, my coworker and I really enjoyed our dinner here!
Be the first to ReplyGood food and the costumer service is the best I have seen.

If I may use the word exquisite in a review, then the ravioli in sage butter is exquisite.
Be the first to ReplyNothing special pizza .
..for $23 . Pre slidesd toppings are very bland from the jar/can . Pizza dough technically done ok but not tasty. Another mediocrity. Not going to recommend to no one .

Best arancini I've ever had! A must go! Good service and food is really good including, of course, pizza!
Be the first to ReplyNot good.
I've only ever gotten takeout, but it's always been soggy and limp. Absolutely zero crisp to this pizza. And it's overpriced for what it is. Go somewhere else

This place had great coal fired pizza, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed it during our stay.

Forgot to take more pics but the food was light and not overfilling. We shared the Daviola pizza, broccoli rabe, and calamari. Calamari was not overly breaded or too fried, it was done perfectly. Our 17M old loved the broccoli rabe as it had immense flavor and mouthed watering! The pizza was delicious and we used the crust with their delicious olive oil! Bob appetite! They were able to stroll our stroller underneath the stairs, we sat upstairs and they had a toddler big chair. The high chair was clean and beautiful (most restaurants high chair are gross and sticky!)
Be the first to ReplyThe food is ok .
We felt that the wine was a little overpriced and some of the dishes were excellent while others were so so. The best were the branzino and the lemon custard dessert . Also there was a young Mexican busboy from Puebla that could not have been nicer .

Came here with my boyfriend after visiting MOMA on a Friday night. The restaurant was pretty crowded but we were lucky and got seated right away. We got the frittura di Mare (fried calamari and shrimp), rigatoni al Ragu, and Tartufata (white pizza with truffle and mushroom).Frittura di Mare: 5/5! Our favorite dish of the night. This was probably also the best fried calamari (and shrimp) that I've ever had! They were so crispy and I love the seasoning in the batter. Even though it said it was fried calamari and shrimps on the menu, there were only three shrimps. While I really like the calamari too, I wish the ratio between calamari and shrimps would be more even. Rigatoni al Ragu: 3.5/5 The rigatoni was unfortunately undercooked and it was still a little hard. Love the taste of the ragu but the veal and pork tasted a little dry to me. Tartufata: 4/5 The dough was soft and the pizza was very cheesy with a decent amount of mushroom. The truffle flavor was a little too subtle and I wish it would be stronger. Overall, the food was pretty good! I love how they have a lot of options for white pizzas especially because I'm not a big fan of marinara/tomato sauce! Servers were very nice and friendly and always had a big smile on their faces! It took a little for the food to come out (around 20-25 minutes for the first dish) but it was okay since we weren't too hungry. The total was around $45 per person after tips which was pretty good for Italian! I would recommend this restaurant if you're around the area!

We chose this place because of their gluten-free pizza and easily giving it a FIVE star review! The pizza crust was the absolute best pizza crust I have ever eaten. If you are a gluten-free eater, this place is worth every single penny!Second to the pizza crust is their sangria cocktail. Service is fantastic, the eating area is clean. I would definitely visit again.

Always delicious pizza! High quality, good char, super thin crust, and always able to accommodate. Have yet to have any issues with ordering or service besides it being slow on occasion, but that should not turn you away. Pizza is always worth the wait.
Be the first to ReplyThere r 2 kinds of New York Pizza, good and great.
Essentially what I am saying is that there is no such thing as bad New York Pizza by Californian standards. That being said this was simply good NY Pizza compared to some of the out of this world pizza I have had in NY
