Small place, tasty food.
Post Alley Pizza is near my hotel and I'd heard about it before. I got a tuna sub instead of pizza. There was an abundance of food in that one order, more than I could finish out. The place is rather cramped with limited dining space, but I was doing takeaway. The staff is courteous and helpful. Lots of locals pop in lunch, also mostly takeaway, and that's a good sign.

I was downtown for an evening event and needed a quick meal. I got the recommendation to consider Post Alley from Kenny Lopez-Alt, a fellow New Yorker who landed in Seattle. He said it was the best slice he’s had in Seattle. Until now I hadn’t even bothered to try. I ended up going two days in a row on my own.
I found the slices to be perfectly thin and it was very obvious the team here prioritizes quality ingredients. Fortunately they sell by the slice. There’s the standard cheese and pepperoni, but there’s a special meat and special veggie slice listed. Surprisingly the salads actually looked pretty good too. You could even have some greens tossed on top of a slice for less than $3 for a more complete meal. Will definitely be back. Area looks a bit sketchy at night but I felt totally fine.
Quick service
Quick and friendly service with delicious and simple choices of crunchy and hot pizza straihgt from the oven!

This was the best pizza I have had in a long time. Just happened to be walking by waiting to check in hotel. Very friendly staff and great food. They allowed us to sit and eat our pizza with all our luggage until time to check into our room.

This is easy to miss tucked away on Post alley, if you get to harbor steps on 1st ave just head down to the bottom and turn left. Our favorite pizza place in downtown

The pizza was really good. I was pregnant at the time and that may have impacted my experience, as I was pretty queasy anytime I wasn't actually chewing on something. The coffee cans for pizza holder-uppers on the tables was cool and the staff was really nice.

New owners and it just re-opened again. Fast service. Pizza is a bit pricey, and the ingredients are high-quality.
To the owners, I would only say maybe add a little more zest to the sauce.
Friendliest Slice
The pizza is consistently great and the staff is about the nicest you'll find anywhere. Just wish they were open more than weekday lunches.

What do I mean by that? I love pizza. I have had New York, California, and even Chicago style. My beef with Washington style pizza is they seem to have an issue with sauce. Meaning, they must believe there is a shortage and they use so little of it. Post Alley is just like all the other Washington Pizza places. Its good, but not great.
