Dinner with great ambience
We came here for dinner on our 1st night in Miami. The service was great & the food was amazing. We had a bottle of wine & 4 main dishes of seafood & steak. The restaurant has a great ambience but is very expensive .
Be the first to ReplyA beautiful evening in a very pleasant restaurant
We first , we would like to thank Hugo by his kindness and his service, he had special attention and we really enjoyed. We had fabulous dishes, Tuna Poke, Crabe legs, lobster....very good wine We ate very well in a very pleasant atmostphere. We ended the meal with a very good dessert that we unfortunately could not finish. PRIME FISH it's a restaurant to recommend, nice restaurant, welcoming staff and very good food! We will be back very soon
Be the first to ReplyPricey - But Also Very Good
I visited on a Tuesday night with a friend, arriving at about 7:30pm. As it's a fish restaurant, we stuck with a fish theme. For starters we ordered a dozen regular oysters. These were so good, we decided to order half-a-dozen more stuffed oysters. For our entrรฉe we had the 4ยฝ lb stuffed Maine lobster. At $250 it is not cheap but, as you can imagine, there is lots of lobster meat, as well as plenty of trimmings. It was excellent, was plenty for two and you don't need to order any side dishes. Despite the price, I thoroughly recommend it. For dessert, we both had sorbets, which were an excellent finish to our meal, and coffee. Service was prompt. Our server, Hugo, was attentive, happy to advise and took good care of us. Despite the good food, the place was very quiet. So come along and give Prime Fish some more custom. You won't be disappointed.

Be the first to ReplyYou Can Do Better
This restaurant was a huge disappointment. It was ridiculously expensive and not even remotely worth it. On the plus side, the raw oysters and sea bass were quite good. On the negative side the creamed spinach tasted like it came from a frozen pouch and the Oysters Rockefeller were so laden with cheese, goop and fried stuff that they were actually tasteless. Itโs as if TGIF tried to deep fry this dish. There have to be better places in Miami. It would be well worth your while to find one.
Be the first to ReplyWorst value ever
Ordered the miso sea bass and it came swimming in a thick sickly sweet sauce that rendered everything on the plate (bok choy) inedible. Also ordered wagyu beef sliders and got fish sliders instead. Fries arrived cold and soggy- and this is a place that has the neck to charge $17 for said fries!!! After bringing these issues to the attention of the manager and that my daughter feels sick after the fish, he comped the sliders (one half eaten) and the soggy fries and that was it...oh he did offer us a desert to "finish on a high note" (!) But we passed. Total tourist trap and lousy food at ridiculous prices- how do these places survive??? Oh yeah, tourists.... Give this place a miss.
Be the first to ReplyBrunch on New year's Eve Should definitely be skipped
I had been to this restaurant before for dinner and thought it was excellent. seemed like a good idea to go for a late brunch and get home before later on New Year's Eve. There was no indication that the menu would be limited, staff skeletal, and food just not good. Seems the whole focus was getting ready for new year's Eve dinner...why be open if you cant deliver food or service. So disappointing!
Be the first to ReplyMUST EAT HERE!
Hugo was an out of this world server. Probably one of the best servers Iโve ever had! Food was amazing! Awesome place! Highly recommend! Manager also stopped by each table to ensure customers were highly satisfied. Music was at a nice volume so you could actually have a conversation and hear the other person!

Wow, so glad we chose this place for our last night in Miami! Service from the start, but Tony, our server, made it fun! Unique dishes with regular food too...not just seafood! Large plates or small with interesting, delicious sides! Full bar! Great music, with a fun, friendly staff! Sure wish we lived closer! Thanks to everyone there for a very special evening!
Be the first to ReplyBest meal of our 3 week holiday
Thanks so much for this wonderful dining experience. The food was faultless and fabulous. Complimentary rolls and a delicious fish mousse/pate, shared tuna tartare then I had the most amazing grouper. Didnโt want it to end. My partner had the halibut which he said was excellent. Shared a plate of rosemary potatoes but too many to finish. Enjoyed what we had Minor improvements- restaurant quiet and we had a pretty poor table, waiter very knowledgable but specials gone through a little too quickly. Bottle wine expensive but we pushed the boat out and it was delicious ( white alberino) Not cheap but our last night and worth every dollar
Be the first to ReplyJust awful
Reheated fries Ceasar salad instead of kale Rubbery bitter diver sole Why????? The garden is so beautiful, sitting under a beautiful huge tree but the food was awful
Be the first to ReplyA Dog eating and drinking at the bar. Not a joke.
Entered Prime Fish and there is a dog, on a stool, sitting at the bar eating and drinking from dishes. A couple has the dog between them on a bar stool. We have been coming here for years. Mentioned to the hostess about the dog at the bar and she just shrugged and said they were regulars. The dog is a regular? Inappropriate all the way around.
Be the first to ReplyThe worst experience from all the prime-ones
Brunch ruined by personnel - instead of paying attention to the ONLY paying customer that afternoon and making me comfortable, the entire crew were mesmerized by obnoxiously loud valet parked NON-paying for food and drinks customers with cheep hair extensions whose yuppie-talky disturbed me so much that I had to move my table. Not to mention that I was asked to pay my bill early than I even finished my drink. Again - there there no other customers in the place that time?! After staying at the hotel many times and eating at all other prime restaurants, Iโd be not returning to this sad place
Be the first to ReplyA Fancy Laid Back Spot
We stopped by and sat outside, very casually dressed and had an upscale dinner that was amazing. Our waiter was so personable and made our dinner enjoyable. The portions are very big so share the sides.
Be the first to ReplyInteresting and adventuresome seafood dishes
While exploring Miami Beach, we had lunch at Prime Fish. This is an upscale setting and not for folks on a budget. However, to have more interesting dishes, you will find them here. The venue is very nice, with a very casual feel. Service was a bit slow, but we attribute this to the difficulty restaurants are having to be fully staffed. There is a considerable variety of interesting appetizers and entrees. There is a decent wine list, but expect to pay for premium wine at premium prices. For a special time in Miami Beach this is a restaurant to choose.

Iโm surprised to see this restaurant only have four dots. While the prices are $$$$, the portions are generous, the staff are on point., and the food very tasty.
We had a 6 pm reservation and weโre seated immediately. Staff quickly came round and provided water and bread with mahi mahi spread.
Our waiter, Francisco, was amazing! He took his time to explain the menu and was very patient with us in deciding a bottle of wine. He definitely is an asset to the team.
We started with oysters, fried calamari and watermelon/feta salad. The latter whetted our appetite. I ordered the nori-crusted tuna with rice ball. It was whimsical in presentation but delivered in taste.
The piece de resistance was a towering peanut butter cheesecake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We split it three ways, but still had plenty leftover.
Prime is a special occasion restaurant and worth every penny.
For a Saturday the ambiance
For a Saturday the ambiance was nice. The seating was very close via covid. Our waitress was very helpful and nice. I had the blackened yellowtail snapper it was cooked to perfection, the sautรฉed spinach was great, the truffle Mac and cheese was very rich, the bake potato was under cooked, and the watermelon martini was very bitter.
Be the first to ReplyPhenomenal dining experience.
Phenomenal dining experience. The service staff was attentive, prompt and friendly. We selected seafood dishes off the menu and they were both superb. The portion sizes were a lot larger than we anticipated, neither of us was able to finish our delicious meals. The jalapeรฑo margarita was awesome. Also the atmosphere and dining environment were excellent the whole vibe was very upscale.
Be the first to ReplyFabulous food with impeccable
Fabulous food with impeccable service at resort prices!!! The grouper imperial is off the Richter scale!!!
Be the first to ReplyPoor customer service and below par food
The customer service was so awful it spoiled our whole meal. The waitress was rude and disrespectful. The food was below par and it took forever to get coffee!. I would not return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone. Donโt waste your time here for brunch.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible atmosphere/food
Incredible atmosphere and dinner! We had Louisiana chargrilled oysters, king crab, fish and chips and a baked potato (the bacon!) and it was all fantastic. Will be back.
