The steak was amazing - particularly with their soy rice
The steak was amazing - particularly with their soy rice wine sauce which we all couldn't get enough of. The appetizers were a little disappointing and small so I'd just skip those next time. And weirdly when you ask for ice water they keep bringing bottles of Fiji water I guess to add to your bill but later in the meal they switched to jug of ice water idk why. The cascading cheesecake was AMAZING and I'm sad I didn't have enough space to eat three of them - so creamy and delicious. The atmosphere is really cool though unfortunately they couldn't seat us outside (also noting if they seat you outside on the patio it is $175pp minimum spend). Added photos of the menu for details on current offerings and prices (Feb 2024). I do think I prefer mastros but that cheesecake could tempt me back for sure!

Went for my wife's birthday and knew it was an upscale restaurant. They advertise a suggested dress code, but that obviously is not enforced....grown men in t-shirts, TV's with ball games, etc.....not exactly an intimate ambiance. Service was good but overbearing, we felt very rushed on each course. Seemed like every time we put a fork down, someone wanted to take away the plate. Food quality was good but insanely overpriced. At the conclusion of dinner, after being rushed through the process, I was thinking the staff may bring my wife a surprise treat for her birthday, as most restaurants of this type do (ie Ruth's Chris, Flemings, etc). No such luck. While enjoying our drinks after dinner I was presented with the check, basically a nudge that "it's time to go, we want to turn over this table". Disappointing to say the least, especially after spending $350 for 2 persons. Won't be on the itinerary next time we are in Vegas.
Be the first to ReplyDo not attempt to bring kids.
Booked reservation for waterfront view that never mentions anywhere on sevenrooms about no kids allowed. Upon arrival they will not us let sit. We will never go back.
Be the first to ReplyI ate here a few years ago and had very fond memories.
This time was terrible. My reservations were to sit outside to see the water show. When we got there, they started to escort us inside. I told the hostess that my reservations were for outside. She said that there is a $175 minimum per person to sit outside. Then she got close to me and lowered her voice and asked, "Can you meet that quota? I was not informed that there was a minimum when making the reservations. It was too late to change things as I had promised my guests this wonderful experience while dining. After we were seated, it took the waiter 30 minutes to approach us. The heater was scolding. We asked if they could lower it. They said it was the same system for the whole patio, and they could not. An hour later, a woman comes outside and lowers the heater for the middle section. So we were lied to by someone who didn't want to be bothered. While my guests were ordering, they were doing the math to make sure that they would meet this requirement instead of ordering what they wanted to eat. So absolutely humiliating. At this point, I am fuming. There were two dishes we could not finish, because we overordered to meet the quota so we asked for to go containers. The waiter literally threw them on the table! That was the straw that broke the camel's back. I asked to see the manager. I told the manager everything we endured through the evening. She apologized and offered to give me her card for when I dine there next time.... No, thank you. Never again. With so many choices in dining in Vegas, please spend your money somewhere where they do not condescend, lie to or ignore you.

Tameka is absolutely the RUDEST Hostess and should be fired instantly. She is a very disrespectful person and completely shocked on how she even has a job working here. But when you look at there over all reviews (3.9) I guess I understand why. We also reported her to the manager and she didn't seem to care much about how Tameka's treats guest. If you want to be insulted and over pay, this is the place for you...

Ambiance was very elegant and the chairs are very comfortable. The service was ok, we found our food server to be strange but the busboy was outstanding. Our server asked us if we had dined at Prime before and my response was, "No, this is our first time". Then our food server walked away. I thought maybe he would start to go over dinner specials or tell us about the restaurant or welcome us, but he walked away. Weird. The service was slow to start but then it took off and became great. We started with seafood platter to start . It was delicious! The lobster was a bit chewy and I would like a butter sauce next time but the clams and shrimp were great! We had a salad next which was delicious!! For dinner my husband had the Japanese F1 filet mignon and it was probably the best steak we have ever had. I had the rib cap and it was very chewy and I didn't enjoy it as much as my husbands steak. Our son also had the filet mignon and he loved it! For sides we had the truffle mashed potatoes and we really like it! We also had the broccoli which was also good but drenched in sauce. I think the presentation could be nicer in the plates. The price was a bit high, for a family dinner of 3 we spent about $950.00. We did have drinks too and the margarita is the best! Not sure we will have a standard family dinner here again, but maybe go here again for a special occasion.
Be the first to ReplySuch an amazing experience tonight at Prime.
We arrived for our 8pm reservation, and was seated closer to 8:30, since the restaurant was so busy. We were then brought menus and water to start. Our server Russ, was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, I didn't get the busser/runners name but they played a significant part in the outstanding service we had. Tonight was my birthday, so we really went all out. Starting with the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp that was garnished with a Passionfruit Mustard. Absolutely delicious. A nice kick with the mustard, but great nonetheless. Our server explained to us how everything is made fresh to order, so we were free to adjust anything to our liking. We each got a salad and share the French Onion Soup. Salads were dressed to perfection and the soup was hot and fresh. For entrees we got the Filet and the Peppercorn Crusted New York Strip. Both were cooked perfectly. We also got a side of the Crispy Potatoes and the Mac and Cheese. The potatoes were my favorite. Super crispy, and they came with a flavorful sauce to compliment them. The Mac and Cheese was super decadent and rich. At the end, our server brought out a sweet birthday dessert that consisted of 2 Tiramisu Macaroons. We learned that the Macaroon flavors are changed daily, which is amazing. Tonight was absolutely amazing. The service was truly memorable, as well as the food. Definitely a great place to visit.
Be the first to ReplyA must experience restaurant for locals and visitors.
The food was beyond delicious. The service was by far more than 5 stars. Finally the view and ambiance takes you to another realm. Make a reservation in advance for patio seating.
Be the first to ReplyI am a little shocked that Jean George's Prime Steak House
I am a little shocked that Jean George's Prime Steak House at the Bellagio doesn't have a hardcore five star aggregate rating. Our experience was beyond stellar. The quality starts at the door. The host staff was amazing. Though initially we were unable to get a table outside, the host took us to Table 30, holy moly, the best table in Vegas, with a full view of the restless Bellagio fountains. Wow. The food was equally impeccable, though such is to be expected when Executive Chef Sean Griffin is running the show. Sean defies all the classic high-end chef stereotypes: a casual affable unflappable demeanor, physically fit, and a perfectionistic quiet genius and not some bipolar, cleaver-chucking, Xanax-chewing, profanity-spewing gorilla who openly despises the clientele and crushes the souls of aspiring sauciers. "This sauce is broken. Now I will break you!" Chef Sean even came out to our table say hello, which is analogous in the dining world to a skybox Swift high-five after a Kelce catch. As for service, we had the honor of having veteran captain Russell take care of us. Of course, when you're sitting in first class of a Boeing 777, it ain't no low-time student pilot pushing the throttles. Russell was no pressure, gave excellent recommendations, and timed our departure just right for the early O Show. Russell was assisted by Leo and numerous others, and superstar manager Sonia came by mid-meal to be sure everything was perfect. Of course at Prime, that's a rhetorical question. Food was in total step with the best chef, table, staff, and management in Vegas. Attention to detail is what sets any business apart, and Prime sets the culinary and hospitality standard, from the fig jam with the burrata mozzarella to the whole yet soft black peppercorns in the demi-glacé, food and wine at Prime will exceed even the loftiest of expectations. Your dining experience at Prime is not a tough act to follow, it is impossible to follow.

My beautiful GF had great intentions of treating me to a memorable birthday dinner at Prime Steakhouse at The Bellagio and requested a window table to enjoy the dancing waters. That was our first disappointment. The sloppy young hostess refused to honor our request even though a table sat empty for almost an hour. The waiters were arrogant attempting to push every extra ala carte on us on the already way over priced menu. The foie gras was delicious. Many times we have experienced Dover Sole prepared tableside. Our waiter plopped the cold dry fish on our plate bothered to wait on us. My NY Strip was tepid at best with some unidentified glaze. Yuck. Mashed potatoes with truffles were great but you can make anything great with truffles. The staff was well aware we were celebrating my birthday but could really care less. Save your money and enjoy a meal with a Chef you know and trust. Jose' Andres, or Emeril would never put up with this. We will never go back.

Prime steak at bellagio is a vision itself! We caught O by cirque de soleil and had dinner reservations for 9:45p. We were done early but they couldn't accommodate us until our reserved time. You can get seats by the famous bellagio fountains, but hostess asked if we agree to pay $175/pp. we ended up spending that much but didn't want to promise that to get seats there. Anyway, we were seated inside the restaurant and our waiter was very knowledgeable and explained everything well. I had NY strip with peppercorn and my husband had filet mignon. Sides are shareable. We had mashed potatoes and broccoli. We didn't get starters and I am glad we didn't because we got to enjoy the steaks even better. They were so juicy and delicious. They celebrated our anniversary as well with a decorated plate which said happy anniversary and 2 macaroons which was very thoughtful. Wait staff is very attentive and so quick! Place is dark, and intimate.
Be the first to ReplyThe service was really good here but we did not care for
The service was really good here but we did not care for the food. The salmon had seeds on top of it and was drenched in a sweet sauce underneath which did taste good with the spinach but it was too strong of a favor for the fish. For the price, we expected authentic crab cakes..They were underwhelming...The best part of the meal was the Cesar salad. They also offered complimentary macaroons due to celebrating a birthday..If you prefer macaroons you may like this, but I wish they told us prior to bringing them out and wasting them or offered a slice of cake instead. The lobster mac and cheese had huggeee pieces of lobster which was yummy but the mac & cheese did not taste like mac cheese, tasted more like a cheesy seafood dish. Overall we ordered 1 salmon, 1 cesar salad, 1 crab cake appetizer, 3 drinks spent $300

My fiancé and I had a really good time here! We weren't celebrating any occasion but just really wanted to have a nice dinner while we were out in Vegas. We had RSVP and ran a little late but still accommodated us. We sat next to a window and had an awesome view of the Bellagio water fountains. Honestly that is a vibe, an intimate dinner + a water show. Doesn't get any better than that. The service was really good, our waiter was informative and provided us with high level of service. As it should be! Appreciate the fact that he kept us refilled with our drinks. I had a few old fashions and it was on point. We shared the dry aged old rib eye and requested to be cooked medium rare. I loved how it was cooked, cooked to perfection. Outer layer of the steak was crisp and inside was juicy pink. The steak came with three sauces and they did not disappoint. At this point, I'm just drenching the sauces haha. Made the steak 10x better than it already was! No hype, just facts. We also had the truffle mashed potatoes and I highly recommend. Great addition to the steak. If you love mushrooms, I'd say order that as well. I forgot to mention we also had oysters. Super fresh, great appetizer to start off with. Next time once the weather is better, I would come back to sit outside to be even closer to the fountains. Good company and good time here.
Be the first to ReplyVery posh environment inside the Bellagio hotel.
If you want to sit outside, you have a very nice view of the Bellagio water fountains and can get a dinner and a show. Inside is dimly lit providing an intimate feel. Service was pretty good and able to answer any questions regarding the menu. We did not start off with any appetizers other than the bread that was provided and 3 Caesar salads split between 5 people. Majority of us got the bone-in ribeye-- mine was medium rare. The meat was perfectly cooked with a nice juicy pink center. All meat dishes come with 3 sauces, of which I rate from best to last soy rice wine, peppercorn, and bearnaise. The main entree comes with some veggies on the side, but we also got 2 additional sides for the table-- brussels sprouts and truffle mashed potatoes. Truffle wasn't overbearing so it was really good. All-in-all a great experience!

BEST FOOD/SERVICE/EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! Stop looking if you want phenomenal service, gorgeous views/ambiance and of course the food! Our server was Traci and she was the absolute sweetest. Her cocktail recommendations were on point. Actually, all her recommendations were on point. She was attentive but also allowed us to enjoy everything we ordered. Everything was cooked to perfection and just melted in your mouth. She even gave my sister a complementary birthday dessert that was so thoughtful. I recommend booking your reservation at 5pm so you can watch the sunset and see the Bellagio fountains. The entire staff was amazing. I recommend this place every time!

For my friend's joint birthday party, we selected Prime at Bellagio, and they put our feast at the center table outside! We could see the gorgeous Bellagio fountains roaring in the background the entire night. This party was huge, so I am only accounting for the feast on my end. SHRIMP COCKTAIL [Fresh Wasabi Cocktail Sauce], BACON WRAPPED SHRIMP [Avocado & Cherry Mustard], PEPPER CRUSTED FOIS GRAS [Strawberry Jam & Marcona Almonds], CAESAR SALAD [Romaine Hearts, Parmesan, Lemon & Chili], 9oz of A5 JAPANESE WAGYU BEEF*FILET MIGNON, ROASTED CHILEAN SEA BASS [Carrot & Onion Stew, Summer Peas], COLD WATER LOBSTER TAIL 8 OZ. [Butter Poached & Grilled Lemon] and literally each of the desserts they had on the menu. I worked with them to design a cake where a snapping turtle ( representing my bestie ) was riding a mountain bike ( representing my other bestie ) and since they could not put that together for us, they comped them. Overall this celebration took countless hours to plan and coordinate, and I think it went off with a bang. All of the food was legendary, and I would definitely recommend this for the most romantic of dates, especially if you're going to pop the question! The food = CRAZY GOOD!
Be the first to ReplyI had the absolute most wonderful experience here at PRIME.
Jason the Sommelier and our servers made this one of the most memorable birthdays I've had. The food was superb; everything we tried was perfectly cooked. The service was exceptional and our view of the fountains...unreal! I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you to the PRIME team; this place is a dream!
Be the first to ReplyJust OK food for a premium price with so-so service.
Steaks weren't cooked as ordered, were very thin cuts (not what I'd expect at a steakhouse), unexpectedly sauced with no real char crust. Service was inattentive and getting the check took an extraordinary amount of time in a pretty empty section.
Be the first to ReplyI was very disappointed with my steak.
I ordered the dry-aged bone-in ribeye in medium rare... I usually can't go wrong with this. My steak came out over cooked and needed a lot more salt. It was closer to between medium and medium well and the steak was not hot. It must have sat outside for 5 minutes or more. I didn't bother asking for another steak because I had taken a couple bites already and just didn't care anymore at that point. Maybe I was shocked after the first bite so I had to take another bite to verify. I didn't finish my steak. The first time in my whole life I didn't finish a steak. I even finish steak from Sizzler. The sides were good but nothing spectacular. We ordered almost all of the sides. The mac and cheese was mediocre and tasted like something from a KFC. Service was good but I don't care about service. I just want a decent steak and at almost a hundred bucks for my steak, I won't roll the dice coming back here. The atmosphere is nice for those who want a date night but I didn't go for a date night, I just wanted a decent piece of steak.Did I mention my steak sucked? Other steaks at the table visually looked good. I didn't taste my wife's steak but it looked proper. Maybe it was just my bad luck.Update: This review was based on my experience alone. I am sure it may be a one off case but none the less I was looking forward to a great steak. Thank you to the owner for taking the time to reply. I may stop by at your establishment again next time.

Christmas Dinner in Vegas - one of my favorite memories and one worthy of giving Prime a 5 star review. Let me start by saying how incredible the service is at this restaurant.. Accommodations to sit in view of the Bellagio fountain was greatly appreciated by the front hostess. Waiter was very attentive, polite and kind. We were definitely taken care of that evening. Onto the food part of the review, our table of 5 ordered the following:FILET MIGNON 7oz / each personBERNAISE and PEPPERCORN SAUCECRISPY SALMON ROLL (to share)BACON WRAPPED SHRIMP (4 plus 1 extra on order)CAESAR SALAD or PRIME ONION SOUPFRENCH FRIESBRUSSELS SPROUTSMARKET SAUTÉED MUSHROOMSAs well as a sweet anniversary dessert for my parents. I truly believe food here is made of the highest quality from skilled chefs. Everything was cooked to perfection. My only complaint was the amount of food my family ordered- we were so stuffed! I definitely recommend others to book this restaurant if you are considering a great dinner or even lunch! It has a fantastic view, great service, delicious food- what's not to love about Prime? After you're done eating, maybe hit the slots and take your chances to see if you won some cash while there at the Bellagio Hotel.
Be the first to ReplySteak was salty.
Took my mom to celebrate her bday worst customer service. Our waiter was just judging us and being rude. Had to complain to the manager about the service. The manager did not do anything to solve the situation. I will never come back here again.

Spent close to $500 for a dinner for 2 and was upset! The ribeye steak was super dry and completely tasteless as there was no seasoning. Both our steaks were supposed to be medium rare , I.e. juicy but both were dry and bland. Don't waste your money, you will find better quality and more tasty steaks at chain restaurants such as Texas Roadhouse without the price premium. The chef here does not know how to make steaks, that is the only explanation to serve such terrible steaks.Service is also very poor. The waitress had to move my phone on the table to put some plates but she did with such violence that it felt almost like she was throwing my phone away. When she speaks to you, it seems like she is ready to fight you. Low class! Stay away! Don't waste your money to get angry.
Be the first to ReplyWonderful place.
Business casual to formal attire. Very friendly staff. Their tables with a "view" are near the windows to see the Bellagio fountain shows. VERY $$$$$ but wonderful food. The chef made a special dish not on the menu for someone in a party who had specific dietary restrictions which we appreciated. The crispy salmon sushi was unique. Perfectly seasoned raw salmon over a fried rice cake. The prime rib for two was amazing, a little too fatty for my preference but was great. Their menu is different than other PRIMEs I have seen

WOW. I went here for an anniversary dinner with my wife and this place was AMAZING. (I'm not one of those people who abuses that word either.) The ambiance and the view of the fountain was amazing. We had reserved our table well over a month in advance. We wanted the patio but they wanted $50 to reserve it which we declined. But they did accommodate my request for a window seat at no charge. The view of the fountain show was gorgeous. We started off the the crispy salmon sushi as an appetizer. We were stunned. It was remarkable. Some of the best sushi I've had. Ever. (I've been eating sushi since I was a kid.) I had the dry aged ribeye with truffle macaroni and cheese. My wife had the Parmesan crusted chicken (please don't judge her since we're at a damn steakhouse) with fries. The food was incredible. The servers were so good to us too. They constantly checked up on us. One waiter even brought our food while my wife was in the restroom and I waited for her to come back. And he told me that I must really love her cause I was looking for her to come back. I told him after 19 years I always look for her to come back. I'm a lucky guy. They even gave us a free dish of macaroons with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate. We were greedy and still ordered the chocolate and peanut butter pie which was HUGE. Everything about this experience was fantastic and I'd recommend this establishment to EVERYONE. Thank you Prime for a memorable dinner. Also, our pictures came out fantastic.
