Sat Night Print
Nice atmosphere/look. Service great. Food just a bit of an overall disappointment. We had cheese board for starter then steak and nduja spagetti for main. Nothing special for price. Cocktails good but again nothing spectacular. Shame really.

An Unfortunately Disappointing Experience
We chose PRINT based on the good reviews here. We were very disappointed. The evening started off well with friendly bartenders as we waited for the rest of our party. Things went down hill when we were seated; 2 of us were given one menu, 2 were given a different menu. We ordered drinks that did not come for 15 minutes while surrounding tables got theirs. Apologies were given… the bar had been suddenly “slammed.” We pointed out the different menus, no apologies, just handed the correct ones. My water glass ran empty frequently; I asked for more on several situations. Our waiter could not be accused of being over attentive. We ordered wine that didn’t come until after the food was served. The monkfish was lukewarm. (But no one would know because the waiter never came to ask about our meal) A trip to the restrooms even disappointed with a dirty toilet seat and NO paper towels in 2 restrooms. So, a disappointing experience for sure.

Took my family there and the whole evening was fantastic. They were so flexible and made changes for the kids. The quality of the ingredients was amazing. And they kept everything hygenic and clean!

Beautiful romantic setting with great staff and good food. The service was great and our server was simply amazing. I believe his name is Sergio. Also checked out the rooftop bar which amazing views of the city. I highly recommend print restaurant.

We stopped here on a quiet Monday night before a show as most of Broadway is dark on Monday’s. We had almost the whole place to ourselves. We have a started which was the charcuterie board with some lovely pickles and sourdough bread. Main was pork chops and squid ink pasta with swordfish ragu. Online menus was slightly different, but all good. Dessert was a nice autumn cheesecake with an amazing crust and some nice apple pieces. Service was good as it was super quiet.

My fiance and I made a quick one-night trip to the city to see a show, and stayed at INK 48 because it was a favorite hotel my fiance had stayed in 5-years ago. We wanted to go to the rooftop bar for a drink before dinner, but it was booked for a private event/wedding. We attempted to get a drink at the bar at PRINT, but after 15-minutes of waiting to be greeted, we left to our restaurant reservation. I understand that everyone is suffering from COVID-19 fall-out. Staff, if available at all, isn't the cream of the crop, and we're all getting by as best as possible with supply chains, money, and restrictions on everything tightening by the minute. I don't pretend to know what it takes to run a hotel the size of INK 48 and PRINT even in the best of times, but would agree with others who have commented that the hospitality level doesn't meet the expectation of 4-stars, I'm sure many hotels/hotel restaurants are experiencing at this time.

This was our 2nd visit to print and it has only got better and better, we arrived early and indulged in a cocktail at the bar, expertly made I might add, when we got to our table, we were met by Luis, who was very welcoming and professional, we started with oysters which were so fresh and delicious, for main course I had scallops and my wife had octopus, she has not stopped praising the octopus since, both dishes were faultless. Beautifully prepared and presented. The homemade Limoncello was incredible, on the nose it seemed very sharp but was very, very smooth on the tongue, absolutely beautiful.
We took advantage of the on the house offer where we had a cocktail in the rooftop press lounge, the view was incredible over the river and uptown. All in all put Print in your diary as a must try, I have when I go back to NYC.
GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE - always consistent GREAT experience!!
We have been frequents of Print for the past year - mostly for dinner but we just went for brunch today and it was equally AMAZING. The menu is creative and always changing but consistently delicious for our entire family (2 kids- 13 and 10yrs old). For dinner, we order many dishes and all share so we can try everything — duck is our son’s favorite and he has fully enjoyed each way that duck has been incorporated into the menu whether as a “steak like” cut or in the pasta like he had today. We always love the bread that we order and comes in a cast iron pan - it’s not to be missed — hot and delicious with butter on the side. And at brunch today, we had the Kouign-Amana - omg we all fought for it! And it came with really perfect sour cherry jam — you could eat it alone it was SO good - not too sweet with chunks of cherry - keep making this!! Our server (Steve) was super nice and friendly - he clearly cares a lot about the clientele and the experience we were having - much appreciated! We will continue to have Print at the top of our favorite restaurants — we live on the UWS but will consider this “in our ‘hood”!!

We ate here pre-theater and enjoyed the food and the ambience. The service was a little slow, aka leisurely, but their computers had gone done. We started with an excellent kale salad, then had the chicken (me) and duck (husband). Both were excellent, very fresh and well-prepared. My husband claimed it was the best duck ever. We didn’t have time for dessert but I did have a cappuccino, which was the best I’ve ever had, and it was served with a little cookie.

I stay at the hotel that this restaurant is located in so I have eaten here many times. The past two-three times it was very disappointing. The $18 cheese plate gives you 3 small pieces of cheese and 1/8 of an apple. The burger was dry and the fries soggy. They have changed chefs and it shows.
