Night finally came! I took my long time friend of 23 years for her first fine dining experience. Everything tasted so wonderful.No complaints on food or drinks.What took the experience down was we both needed to use the restroom. I just said I would wait til she was done and he said "you both can go I'll show you" as he leads us to bathroom he says "as long as you're not running out on the bill".That made me feel very small.If I was a gentleman in a Versace suit with a wife or something I bet he would never say such a thing.My hard working money deserves to be treated like anyone else fine dining. It made me embarrassed in front of my friend. Like they didn't value my money.Even in a joking way.. I felt it was in poor taste. Anyways. Here's my photos of the dinner and bill that I paid and didn't walk out on.Update 3/3- one of the owners reached out to me today to apologize for the comment the waitor made. He was very steadfast in how it's not just about the food but the experience and respect they have for the customers. We spoke for a long time and he was very kind with his words. He ensured that it never should have happened and that he will be speaking with staff about how comments of this even in joking way is not ok. I was very appreciative of the call and thankful he wanted to correct the action / give me a better end result for the meal. Thank you again for reaching out and your kind words.
