Quaglino's London Reviews from The Last Year
Disappointing is the best I can offer.
12pm Christmas Day lunch 130pm - only received bread (delicious!) and starters, 90 minutes into our meal. 150pm finally served main and it was dry and overcooked fish. How do you keep people waiting that long and then still manage to fuck up cooking it?!?! Smh it's a shame and not just because I was hungry. The plating was so pretty but then no flavor
The food was good, but the service was slow.
It's expensive. We had 3 bottles of wine for 11 people. We were going to have dessert, however, our server said that alot of people came in at one time and that's why he was not prompt in taking our dessert order. His manager should have stepped up to help.
This place is so cool! We loved the live music.
If you want to do something different and have a unique experience for brunch this is the place. The food was amazing. You can choose between 2 or 3 courses and we also added the bottomless bubbles! 2 courses was enough for our group. Service was very attentive. The ambiance was fabulous so dress up!

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
