This is one of the best dining experiences I've had in
This is one of the best dining experiences I've had in Denver/metro Denver. The ambiance was nice and chill, good lighting and music, seating spaced out well. The service was attentive, honest and not pushy. Plenty of modifications for vegetarians. Food, drinks and dessert were delicious, nice sized portions. The bread was incredible. Well worth the wait for a reservation. Hope to be back soon.

Enjoyed the food and setting, but it's the service that sets this place apart. Outstanding service from seating through service, wine service and manager stopping by... a great experience all around.

We made RSVP for 8 for this past Saturday, then changed to 10 people when first couple arrived, and the host stand was very accommodating. Thank you for your attentiveness in helping us make that happen. We were shocked by the size of the bar, very small for the capacity of restaurant. Also, there was only one bartender when we came in, and he was so busy his hands were shaking. I could see faces at the bar of people who waited to be served a cocktail prior to being sat; some did not look to happy at all. After everyone arrived, we were sat at our table. We had never been here but in conversation with a to-go order person before we were sat at the table, he said the food was delicious. We ordered from the pre-fix menu for restaurant week, and found the portion sizes ridiculously small. What a joke on the fish dish!!! Total disappointment for one of our table guests. The tuna tartar was chopped so fine, it was like soup spread on a plate, another poorly served item. The food was not great, but average. All of us at the table have quite the palate for good Italian. But this place did not fit as "Quality". Randy our server was fantastic, as good as they come when serving guest. Between the host and the server 5 stars equally, but the restaurant food and bar, terrible.

Our reservation was made over a month in advance for a birthday party of 6-- so not that big a group, right? And a Wednesday night. When we got there, it was suggested that we would have less than an hour and a half to use our table. I get that on Friday nights or with walk-ins, but not so much with people who've made a point of letting you know they're celebrating. They relented quickly, saying that they would not "rush us out." The service overall was excellent. Our server was cheerful, professional, and quick to get us our drinks and to let us know about any changes to the menu. We were in the back area where there were multiple tables with larger groups and a few lonely tables for two-- it must have been pretty noisy for them. The ambiance is elegant enough and it should be for the prices. The wine list is limited in the sense that there are a handful of dubious choices under 100 dollars a bottle and a lot of choices over $130 a bottle. The wine steward only tried a mild upsell. A few more good options in the 65-85 range would be a nice addition to the menu. As for the food-- highlights include the filet mignon meatballs, the porterhouse agnolotti, the Niman Ranch pork chop (always happy when it's sourced from there), the corn creme brûlée, the Tuscan fries, and the Brussels sprouts. Less exciting were the truffle cacio e pepe pasta (no taste other than the truffles), the tricolore salad (no apparent dressing or other additions but excellently fresh greens) and the salmon. The filet was well received even at the wrong temperature. The tiramisu was deemed delicious and the ricotta cake as well.

Lovely ambience, amazing service and great food! We came here for dinner on a weekend evening and this place was packed, we were a group of 6 and made a reservation in advance! My favorites were the gnocchi, chicken parmigiana and the desserts. Their house bread was lovely, we ordered more and I was stuffed! My husband got the lobster pasta and they live flamed it at the table, it was nice. The gnocchi was amazing, best I've had in a long time. Desserts were great, specially the tiramisu and the cheese ice cream with the pie. We also got a couple bottles of wine for the table and they had a good selection and an in house Somalier. I really liked this place and will be back!

Holy Italian!!! One of the best pasta meals I have had outside of Italy. It is no wonder why I always see a packed patio with people enjoying their meal. We had a group of 5 adults and made a reservation for a Sunday night dinner. There were quite a few full tables, a few empty ones when we sat down but by the time we left it was crowded. Our waitress was AMAZING! She was a professional, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and had the sommelier come to the table to help us select a wine. Her recommendations were on point - not sure you can get a bad meal here though. The amount was perfect for all of us. I ordered the short rib ravioli and my husband got the truffle pasta. I preferred the truffle pasta (you can never go wrong with truffle) so we switched. I could have eaten my weight in the truffle pasta dish, it was Unreal!!! The bread appetizer was also good but the pasta was the star of the meal. It isn't an inexpensive place so be prepared to pay but the portion is hefty as well. My only complaint was the restroom is in the neighborhood of hotel and down a set of stairs. It seems like a long and not super safe way to get to the restroom especially for those that have consumed a bit of wine.
Be the first to ReplyAppetizer was amazing.
Our main dishes were such a big disappointment! For the price, I would expect a decent meal. I do not recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Great wine list. Beautiful ambience. Perfect place for a special night out or a romantic date.

Amazing service and amazing food! Love this place! Parm pizza is a lot of food but it is totally worth it!
Be the first to ReplyNever a bad meal.
Always a great buzz to the place and an exceptional experience. Truly a big city standout in a great location.
Be the first to ReplyThis was a terrible experience.
The kitchen opens at 4, so we walked over from our hotel and sat at the bar. We had a couple questions about a food allergy and the guy was nice enough. He asked if we were ordering drinks and we weren't sure what we wanted yet. That was when the service went south. We didn't see the guy for a solid almost 30min. We asked the server we saw helping others and he said "oh, I'm your server now." Ok, well we placed our order and waited. Our drinks never came. He forgot. Then, we ordered the bread on the menu with the honey butter. It never came. (The regular bread did, but not this) I ordered the porterhouse agnolotti pasta and it was literally flavorless. My husband ordered the NY strip steak (which was good) and the crème brûlée corn side which is a specialty of theirs. It was pretty good, but small for $15. This was not a place I would ever return. I regret paying $160 for a meal that was flavorless and for service that was poor. As far as ambiance, it was decorated super retro and cool and would have been great if everything else wasn't so bad.
Be the first to ReplyLasagna and meatballs were great.
Other 3 meals were good. Two of the three dessert canoles were empty. Very slow service. 20 to 30 minutes for water refills. Grumpy waiter. Better luck next time.
Be the first to ReplyWow, what a great restaurant and experience.
Came here with a group of 6 during restaurant week and had an awesome meal. Jessica was our server and she took great care of us. She walked us through the menu and kept our drinks and waters full. Calamari app was delicious but the sausage and bread app was a table favorite. For entrees I had the pork chop which was delicious along with the ribeye agnolotti. My wife had the truffle pasta and the spicy lobster pasta. Both we excellent. Thanks so much Quality Italian, food and service were excellent and can't wait to come back again soon. 5 stars all the way

As per our waiters suggestion, my husband and I split a tomahawk steak, gnocchi dish, and a salad. Everything was amazing.

Had a great experience for restaurant week at Quality Italian last night. We got a Banarama to start and it was great cocktail. Then we got the AMAZING tomato appetizer, honestly one of the best caprese's I've ever had. The calamari was also super fresh and had great coating. Then for mains we're a salmon and pesto pasta with sausage and both were outstanding. Blood orange dessert was VERY flavorful. Like insanely flavored. The restaurant itself felt kind of like you were Bioshock. It was very cool. Also our waitress was awesome. Will for sure be back to try the $70 pizza
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I been coming here for years.
We use to come get for every special occasion and celebration. We visit this restaurant with our kids in 2021 after they reopen, we were so disappointed and thought the pandemic have destroyed another amazing restaurant. Last night my husband and I decided to give it another try. We order all of our original flavor items, Moscow Mule, Caesar salad and lasagna. First I love the new version of their bread, it was so yummy I ordered another one Togo. The Moscow mule comes with the ginger candy was super good but the drink was a little too spicy for me. Caesar salad is still delicious just the way we remember. The lasagna is the dish that made my husband and I fell in love with this restaurant many years ago was a little disappointing. Our server Michael was great, really nice and on top of it. Being restaurant week I thought it will be slow but it wasn't at all. We will bring the whole family again

Finally went back to QI and *wow* what a difference: fantastic all-around. I'll attribute a good portion of my change of heart based upon the guidance of our server, who knocked it out of the park. This time our server truly guided our group through our selections and really meant what she said. The biggest surprise was the chicken parm, which (frankly) is the size of a medium pizza. Depending upon your level of hunger it could easily feed three people. So, great job.
Be the first to ReplyFirst class and amazing service.
I would definitely be back. The chicken parm is to die for. Also, the service is on point.
Be the first to ReplyLoved our experience here.
The ambiance is amazing and the service is incredible. We had the Caesar salad. Hands down, best Caesar dressing I've tried. The tuna carpaccio was simply fresh and delicious. The the sauce for the spicy lobster pasta was made at the side of our table with a little fire in the pan show. The aged porterhouse agnolotti was amazing. The connoisseur recommended a perfect Italian wine to go with our dinner.
Be the first to ReplyService was slow and their vodka sauce was straight vodka.
Do not recommend. It does have a nice ambiance though. Fancy and decent prices but not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyThis is a beautiful restaurant.
The atmosphere is sophisticated and sexy. Classic Italian themes with a modern twist on the aesthetic. Now the grub- baby gem Caesar salad 4/5, shrimp cocktail 5/5, branzino 3/5, spicy lobster rigatoni 3.5/5, wine selection 5/5, starter bread 9/5!!! Let's just leave it at that. Give it a try at least once.
Be the first to ReplyFood is amazing.
Steak was done perfectly and the pasta is magnificent. Need to get both butters for the steak. What is not shown is the filet mignon meatballs which are a MUST! Also if you like desert they have a Ferrer Rocher ice cream that is addicting. Be care because the house bread is so light and good you can't get enough. The service is great I've only sat at the bar and always had a blast. Ambiance is intimate yet inviting with the dim lighting and decorations.
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding.
. Just love the dinner for two lasagna with filet mignon meatballs so so delicious!
Be the first to ReplyQuality Italian continues to be one of my favorite
Quality Italian continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. What to order:For the Table - Housemade RicottaAppetizer - Spicy Crab & AvocadoPasta - Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla VodkaEntrée - Chicken Parm Pizza for TwoDessert - Tiramisu LuciQuality Italian is an Italian Fare steakhouse with a striking, contemporary design & upmarket menu. Quality Italian has a lovely outdoor patio space and a sexy, high-end interior with low lighting, dark browns & mixed metals. We were seated at a booth in the main dining room. Our server Louis was was polite and polished in service and spoke intelligently about the wine list & menu.We started our meal with Quality Italian's house bread - some of the best bread in Denver. For the table we had the Housemade Ricotta. The Housemade Ricotta is made with Colorado Honey & Pine Nuts. The creamy ricotta cheese was whipped to perfection and had a milky-ness that went great with the sweet honey. The fluffy, granular texture of the ricotta was contrasted nicely with the crunch of the pine nuts and thickness of the honey. For our Appetizer we had the Spicy Crab & Avocado. The Spicy Crab & Avocado is made with marinated tomatoes & garlic croutons. The sweet lump crab paired with creamy avocado and the acidity of the marinated tomatoes made for a really refreshing appetizer. This appetizer was on the lighter side which we loved so we still had plenty of room for our heavier entrees. For Housemade Pasta, we had the Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka. The Rigatoni is made with Calabrian chilies, crispy garlic and is prepared tableside. This pasta was a powerhouse. The Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka hit all the notes we wanted - creamy, spicy, rich, and saucy. The Calabrian chilies gave the pasta a unique heat that was complimented by the sweet, acidic pepper of the Alla Vodka sauce. The sweet, tender lobster meat and creamy sauce clung to the al dente rigatoni making for hot, meaty bites. A must order - so freaking good. For the Chicken Parm Pizza for Two we had the Chicken Parm Pizza A La Vodka. The Chicken Parm Pizza A La Vodka is made with vodka sauce, stracchino and fresh herbs. The Chicken Parm Pizza can certainly be shared among 3-4 people; it's a very large entrée. The Chicken Parm Pizza is a must order when dining at Quality Italian (especially if you have never had it!). Yes, that it as Chicken Parm PIZZA. This was our first time having the 'A La Vodka' as opposed to the original Chicken Parm Pizza at Quality Italian and we actually liked the A La Vodka better (it had more sauce). The chicken was generously coated with a rich a la vodka sauce & stracchino cheese - both made for epic saucy bites and drool worthy cheese pulls. The chicken had a crisp exterior making for great texture variation against the smooth sauce and chewy cheese. For dessert we had the Tiramisu Luci. The Tiramisu Luci is made with Espresso-Soaked Almond Sponge & Mascarpone Cream. The Tiramisu Luci's presentation was show-stopping; the plastic cylinder was gently pulled off the dessert and the mascarpone cream sexily dripped down & coated the sponge cake. The Espresso-Soaked Almond Sponge cake was dense and we enjoyed the thick creaminess of the mascarpone cream.

Good restaurant energy here but the gimmicks take away from the experience. There's no need to transform "chicken parm" into a pizza or lasagna into "cinnamon rolls". It's distracting and doesn't improve it. These dishes are classics for a reason. Why mess with perfection?
