Great quality food, especially the beef and pork selections.
Service excellent. Ambiance is cool and energizing.

Let's start from the good thing, even though they had a wait time for more than 45 minutes they have a nice waiting area where you can sit and chitchat or even have drinks. We wanted to try some new kbbq place so decided to go there. I have been to tons of KBBQ place and looks like this place is just a hype. Nothing extraordinary. Beef Bulgogi was too sweet. But I was so disappointed when I saw pork belly. This is the worst pork belly ever ever seen in my life. Lastly the service, we had to wait extra 10/15min for check, the waiter who helped us just disappeared. We had to wave another table's waitress to bring our check.

Be the first to ReplyWe were there on a Sunday at 11am ish.
Quality of meat was pretty good, we ordered the large combo, perfectly enough food for the four of us. Side dishes were all good (no refills though), soy bean paste soup was really good as well. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I mean we paid 18-20% tips for lunch, and honesty, I am not asking for a red carpet lay out for me or over the top services, all I am asking is just regular decent service we get as a customer in a restaurant. Where server does not throw our food around on the grill, or when they got raw meat juice in my water, they'd get me a new glass of water, or hostess doesn't kick our chair around in front of us while we are at the table. Although the food was good, it was just a terrible dining experience. I'd go elsewhere (That's just my opinion though).

I specifically asked for a non-alcoholic drink and ordered an orange juice. I received the drink and it was sparkling. I started feeling the effects of alcohol because I have an alcohol allergy, I asked again if it was non-alcoholic. The waiter said it was regular orange juice and I asked if it should be sparkling and he said "no", yet my drink was carbonated. The people in the group I was with all tried it and said it did not taste like plain orange juice. I said I was feeling the effects of alcohol and the waiter said he would check for me. He returned with a new cup of orange juice and it was not carbonated this time. My group also tried some and said it tasted like regular oranged juice, which was different from the first cup. I asked the bartender as well how the drink was made and he claimed both cups of juice came from the orange juice jug. They could not provide an answer to why the drink was carbonated or why I was feeling tipsy/drunk and jittery from my alcohol allergy. The bartender who answered my questions did not apologize for the situation and was only defensive. This is a dangerous mistake as I have an alcohol allergy. I cannot imagine what the situation would be if this happened to a pregnant person or someone on medication. The supervisor was called and claimed that the only thing that could cause carbonation would be soda water and could not explain why I was showing evident symptoms of alcohol consumption. He offered me benydryl which shouldn't be mixed with alcohol and took off 20% of our bill and removed the extra items we ordered. He said it was the "least" he could do. He did apologize for the situation but said that he had to also consider "both sides" (me who experienced symptoms vs the bartenders who couldn't even remember if they put soda water or anything else in the drink). I asked if they had a breathalyzer, but they did not have one. The fact that they gave me an allergic reaction ruined the experience for me.

Quarters is one of my go to kbbq spots whenever I'm with a big group. It has the BEST SIDES of all the kbbq restaurants in the area and the prices aren't that bad; usually would pay $30-45 between 2 ppl for 4 rounds of meat. I will say it is a very busy location-the only time there's no wait is lunch time but after 5pm the wait is usually very long. The inside is also very loud from the amount of people talking to the music, it very much gives a club vibe inside. Waiters are very sweet and helpful however and always giving as many side refills as we ask. Def also recommend the Kimchi fried rice it's the best side to buy! I also like how quarters has the to go option if there's anything left over which I appreciate. If you don't feel like AYCE then I recommend Quarters!

We ordered the large combo and a bold of cold noodles with a party of 5. The marinated beefs here are so freaking good! The pork belly is fine and the pork jowl is very soft with all the fat so it was good. The cold noodle was a bit disappointing for me as I felt like it was quite tasteless for us, so I don't recommend it. I love the kimchi stew as it is not too salty and tasteless like other places. The broccoli banchan is super good. We refilled it for like 7 times because all of our family enjoyed it. The customer service is good as they sometimes notice that your side dishes need to be refilled and do it for you without being asked, so that's a plus for the service. It costs us a bit more than $40+/person, so it was not too expensive considering it's in LA. Overall a very positive experience and recommend it!

Excellent food! Sauces are very tasty and good quality meat. Lots of greens to balance the meal. Excellent servers. Please note they do not serve food outdoors at lunch time, only for dinner on Weekends. Will not serve outdoor on weekdays/weeknights.

This place was amazing!!!!! I have never been to a Korean BBQ before even though I am comfortable with most cuisines. I live in the San Francisco Bay area and we pride our self on great food. We were visiting Los Angeles with my family that have flown over from the UK. My daughter's friend suggested this place because she comes to Los Angeles quite often because her uncle lives here . Food was absolutely Amazing, My wife delicious and the service was fantastic. I had no idea what to order so I ordered a set meal for 3 to 4 people and added two orders of shrimp and one order of teriyaki chicken and one order of spicy Chicken for the six people in our party. When we arrived there was kimchi, salad, spicy tofu, fantastic flavored sauces and a couple other dishes as we sat down complementary. That was amazing because we were really hungry and could start eating away. When they brought out all the protein that they were going to Cooke, we were shocked and thought it would be way too much to eat it wasn't. We devoured all the food as it was made, while seeing it being cooked before us and gave us a little break in between each protein. The bill was only $280 for six people, including Drinks the bill Price blew me away. It was the best dining experience I've had in a couple of years and one of the cheapest for that amount of people . Great job keep doing what you're doing
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, great service , great environment, good drinks.
Much like any other KBBQ restaurant, wait time to get in and receiving food can be delayed , but that should be expected at a popular venue ; I don't hold that against them.
Be the first to ReplyI've been here twice and both times were super delicious.
The combos come with meat, banchan (side dishes), grilled veggies, soup, and the cheese fondue. Definitely on the more expensive side so it's a "splurge" kind of restaurant for me. The crowd is usually on the younger side, and they always have loud music pumping. If you're into that kind of atmosphere, Quarters is really fun to eat and drink at.

Be the first to Replycame here the night before/12am my birthday.
the wait wasn't too long for a party of 4 and the staff was good at updating us. once we got seated, our server (i forgot his name sadly) was super fast at greeting us and really sweet. the food and drinks were good, the food tasted fresh and good quality. i was turning 21 so once midnight hit our server sang happy birthday to me and gave me a bottle of soju after making us soju bombs to cheer with. it was really fun and i loved the vibes! (picture might be blurry bc it's a screenshot from a video)
Be the first to ReplyFood was very good.
The quality of the meat excellent. Our first server had a shift change which caused a big gap in service. Definitely a fun place w large group of people and a more modern feel.

We got their large combo and their steam egg! Super delicious. The large combo fed 4 of us and we even had leftovers! Our server was very attentive and kept on refilling our sides They didn't have their mango blush but the bartender made margarita on the rocks and it was pretty good. Props to the bartender! They were all really really friendly and helpful. We had their drinks at the outdoor patio and it was nice and warm there. There was about a 30 min wait at 12am and last call was at 1am.

The meat quality was very good better than most the various sides were all great tasting the fluffy pot eggs are to die for the white rice could definitely use some work disappointed in it the service completely sucked the cooker we had was horrible we just got to the point of cooking ourselves everything he burnt our first 2meat options when we'd ask for something he took forever or forgot never refilled the water the food is great the 4stars based solely on food quality and taste nothing else
Be the first to ReplyDefinitely great Korean bbq place.
It's not like the more "traditional" places, it's kinda more happening "upscale" place.I think it's a bit overpriced so it's much better to go as a group for events like birthdays and such.I'd go with the less regular pieces of meat because you can get that any other place. Try the steak, the seafood...Service is good as well.
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and service.
Very loud. Had to talk. Wait time for table was long.Parking was also an issue. Go early be prepared to wait . Worth the wait.
Be the first to ReplyReally good place for a la carte KBBQ.
Can get extremely crowded on weekend nights. Vibe isn't anything special. Would go back.

[Food]Large (feeds 3-4 people) and Steamed Egg:* The large order of meat comes with 6 different meats which were all great quality. The pricing is on the higher end of Korean bbq and this is NOT AYCE for those that aren't sure. The large order comes with some veggies and a cup of cheese on the side. The steamed egg was seasoned well with the right amount of saltiness. The sides were fresh and tasted great. Overall the food was good quality and something to try on a nice night out. 4/5[Service]* On a busy Friday night, it's understandable that the workers have to rush to every table and do their best to provide good customer service. For our table the service was not too attentive or communicative and when they were prepping to cook for our table they spilled marinate on me and did not say anything. They also were moving the meat quick on the grill where the raw meat juices were splashing on the salad I was eating. One of the staff that was cooking at our table was leaning forward to cook and had her sweater touching all the raw meat that was under her. This was understandable because of her height and I can tell she was doing her best. 2/5[Atmosphere]* The atmosphere of this location was great! It has a nice vibe waiting outside and eating inside. Everything seemed organized and looked modern. 5/5[Overall]* I give this place a 4/5 even though the service was not the best for my group that night. I believe this is one of those times where workers are rushing around trying to get through the night. The quality of the food and the liveliness makes this place a must try in my opinion.

Jerked around me and my family for a waiting time, said 45 minutes to one hour then when i got back 45 minutes later they said 45 more minutes, told the guys infront of us the same thing. They were trying to be respectful but didnt try to make it right. If you are a walk in and want to eat quickly then go somewhere else.
Be the first to ReplyFood and service are excellent and the place is lively.
Only hassle is that they don't take reservations so expect to wait a while for a table.
Be the first to ReplyKalbi is really good here.
Highly recommend. The bulgogi wasn't that great. The marinated beef short rib was pretty good. It's not cheap tho. My friend and I ended up paying $60 each at the end of the night. Service was not that great. Our waiter was checked out. I think he was ready to clock out and wanted to end his shift asap. They cook the meat for you, but our waiter was kind of absent-minded. I asked him three times for more of the ban chan and he never did. Instead, another waiter picked up his shift and he was so much nicer. The people who sat next to us had a kind waiter and I wish we had that kind of service. My friend and I didn't wait too long for our table since we came around 3:30-4pm on a Saturday. They don't take reservations so you have to go in and put your name down. They text you when your table is ready. We waited for about 20-25 min for our table. It was chilly inside since we came in February when it was raining. We wore our coats while we were eating.Since street parking is hard to find around the area, I highly suggest paying the $10 for 3 hours for the parking lot next door. It's worth it. You'll save yourself 15-20 min from trying to look for free parking spot.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was some of the best I've had.
Luckily we went with people that knew kbbq, im not sure if the staff helps or not, on when the food is ready to be eaten, because my friends knew exactly what to do with certain meats and sauces. That is one thing I would ask if you are going with a group to a first time kbbq place. The vibe was amazing too. Highly recommend this place.
